I put forensic on my picker and yes, the busiest dungeons are the best, just run around and skin, pick a chest every now and then, easy life :D
Whats your template out of curiosity? I was going to Echo into a Picker, BUT, it feels like I can do both on one template.

Dude, this video is perfect! I loved the timing of it, and how you detailed so many fun parts of your journey. As someone who has never owned a house on any UO games, I am really excited to try my luck on Outlands. I have a bit over 1 million gold, but hear that with the Wildlands expansion coming out there will be a lot of opportunities to get a house much cheaper or through the raffle-thingy they are doing so I am hesitant to buy a house right now. My room at the Prevalia Inn will have to suffice. I never really considered 'location' being important, but I have yet to make a crafting or harvesting character so this is now something I will keep in mind. Keep making great content, and don't be afraid to make videos on the obscure stuff you find on Outlands!
Yeah, Wildlands is a GREAT opportunity for new housing, and in truth, if I hadnt found this caravan in this location, I'd be waiting as wel! Depending on the size of house you want, location may be tough, BUT, for me this early in my Outlands journey, being near a moongate/bank has been great :)

Awesome work bro, as someone that played UO in the dark ages 98/2002 and just finding outlands 2 weeks ago , this was awesome , and I shall be harvesting leather now that I know lol
Haha, leather (normal) has dropped in price a little, but it's still an easy and low cost way to make money -- especially coloured leathers! Hope you're enjoying Outlands! :)
I started here 6 months ago, its an amazing server. They created an end game for UO, the thing it needed most.

12:11 Go to settings and change trees to stumps/blocks will be alot better. Also use the setting to hide roof tiles will give you better idea of what your buying.
Haha, I love the trees! I'll them off if I ever do PvP, but the game looks a bit meh without them, especially for a video. That said, roof tiles is a good idea.

very cool vid! I won a small 8x8 in the lotto when they did that small land expansion a few months ago, some guild wanted the space, sold it for 6.5m, and bought a greystone lookout near inferno (small 3 story tower) for 5.4m! ended up getting much more space for cheaper, lol its slightly cramped, but a perfect size for me just by myself. usually my luck is dogsh$#%, so i was genuinely surprised i won a housing lotto, lol think i only bought like 7-8 tickets for it too

Heh I remember that lottery, my account was 3 months old - I spent everything I saved (around 500 tickets spread over 2 houses and then another 2 tickes in all the other houses) - won nothing, quit & never went back

Very enjoyable videos! I've been thinking of playing some UO again and heard of Outlands, though the notion of free PvP is little off putting. Would you recommend the shard?
I'm having a GREAT time. Personally I don't do any PvP, maybe one day. I find the PvM and the Progression FANTASTIC. It's so much bette r than original OSI. In terms of Player Killers, I maybe die once a week on average, some weeks more, some weeks less. You'll see more PKs at the weekend of course. I won't lie to you and say it doesn't happen, because it does, but I don't find it that intrusive personally.

Don't understand how so many people can stand to play on that shard, it's just not UO
But from an illegal business point of view, it's pretty impressive what Owyn has achieved
I think UO as we know it is long gone, it's nice playing a different vision of it -- for me at least, totally get it's not for everyone. (It's also not just Owyn, there's a great team on it from what I know!)

Outlands as a single player like Odyssey/Ruins and Riches/Adventures would be a dream come true but those fkers are never releasing the server files for offline play

I haven't really played UO since some free servers over a decade ago. How frustrating would it be for an old school player to get back in these days playing solo?
Prior to July of this year, I hadn't played UO for over 10 years. Personally I found it quite simple to get back into the basics, but, there's a lot to learn. For me that's the fun though, it's a combination of "I remember this" and "oooo, that's new!".
I harvest wood there and I always see that one caravan lol

Pop is good, 2.7k players on atm, assume some are afk or training, so prob 1.5k active at one time! Sorry to hear you lost your stuff :(
How do you see player vendor items in 1 click? I always have to open up paperdoll and open their backpack.
At any Vendor Mall -- click on the house sign, and it opens up quick options to acces each vendor, saves you walking around the house :)

You CAN make this into a Summoner though -- all you really need is Forensic Eval, but I wanted to turn this character into a Lock Picker long term, which is why I went this route.
@@LootGoblinLofi thanks yeah mine is a character that is good for stealing and lockpicking but after watching your vids I’ve added forensics and have gotten 3 commodities in about 2 hours from shadowspire it’s insane
1.25mill for something that has less storage than your inn... outlands is so much fun 🙄
For me, the inn is pretty boring -- a GREAT feature. But I like living in the 'real world'. Keep in mind I can make this money in 12 hours from Leather Farming, so it aint too bad at all!

You could quite easily drop Tracking and Med/Healing, then take Lock Picking and Detect Hidden to make you a Lock Picker AND Gatherer, which would also be cool imo
