Reminds me of when I played SWG. I was an image designer, but I spent the time grinding for a pet At-St when they were super OP. Used it for everything, lol. Loved it. I was so sad when they nerfed them to make them PVP only.
This video is really good! I love how elementary it is. Ultima Online Outlands videos, I have found, don't have to be complicated. Just someone talking about doing stuff is highly entertaining. It doesn't take much to hit the nostalgia receptors in our brains I guess. I'm glad this video made it in my suggested videos! I started Mining this week, maybe that's why. I remember living as a blacksmith in 98/99. Hanging around brit forge repairing mostly, but occasionally I'd get to make a full gm suit of armor. I'd spend all day socializing and smithing. A simpler time...

I had the exact same feeling, but went for lumberjack/carpentry. Good times :)
I used to pretend to run a bar outside Castle Black in the Color Wars server as a kid and a character named Bob, lol.
It got griefed constantly because dumb kid me set it all up right by the entrance, it would have survived a bit longer if I put it somewhere that got less foot traffic and waited for the word of mouth, but I only had a couple hours a day to play back then.
