- This is a spooky cocktail from Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide. Destinee is a model who I work with from time to time. She's a big fan of tiki and lot of fun in this episode!

To make the the drink in the video you will need:

1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/4 oz simple syrup
1 oz Barbados rum
1/2oz Southern Comfort

Shake with ice cubes. Double strain into chilled tiki stem champagne glass or coupe.

The Tiki Ti used to have The Black Widow on their old 90+ drink menu, but I think they can still make it, if you ask for it. It was one of my first drinks at the Tiki Ti, many many moons ago.

Another fun episode Spike. Southern Comfort in a Tiki Cocktail? Now that's "SPOOKY". Best Dracula? Has to be Christopher Lee. That dude never blinks. Now that's also "SPOOKY" Aloha.
I wasn't expecting the cocktail to read like a daiquiri. I have a bottle of SoCo that I never touch, so I'll have to try it out. Also, I really like the bell jiggers that they sell through Barfly or Viski if you don't want to replace your old measuring cup with that same thing. I dislike Japanese jiggers as well.
I like Destinee she's nice, would like to see her back, all the folks you have on your show are great people.

Yeah, this video was a MESS to edit. Somehow one of the three cameras was filming in a different frame rate... and then the proxies weren't working... It kills me when this stuff has errors in them... and I can't fix them.

You want cubes to shake with. Pebble ice will melt too quickly and over-dilute an 'up' cocktail.
