  • Today, August 21st 2017, marks the Great American Solar Eclipse. The first eclipse to span the entire country since 1931. Being in Orlando, we weren't quite in the totality zone, but around 88% which is still amazing. This eclipse was an awesome experience that we wanted to share with you guys! Drop a 'Like' if you'll be watching for the next eclipse in 2024 xD

I live in Salem, Oregon, so I literally didn't even have to move from my house to experience the 100% Total Solar Eclipse, and it was a beautiful day. It got completely dark for 2 minutes and I could see stars. Nothing more I can ask for, it was a fantastic day. #Thankful #Grateful #Blessed

I was so triggered. We drove all the way to Georgia to see the totality of the eclipse and then sat in the heat for 3-4 hours waiting for the eclipse. Then, theses clouds come out of no where and block the eclipse completely right when the moon passed the sun. Right after the eclipse the cloud moved 😒

At the 12:02-minute mark in this vlog, Cooper is peering over the top of the other side of your table behind you as you make your summary comments! What a hoot of a pup! He looks like he’s listening to every word as you discuss your long-term vlogging career goals. He is absolutely adorable in oh so many ways‼️
I was in the total zone in north GA where I live & not only did the temp go down, the sky & land grew dark as if it were night & the viewers on the lake & in the neighborhood where I was shouted & clapped as the eclipse occurred‼️🤩😎🥳

I saw it!! I drove from Utah to Wyoming to see it in totality, and I'm so glad I did!!!! It was the coolest thing I have ever seen!!!! When the moon completely blocks the sun, you can take the glasses off and see the Corona and any solar flares that are happening. It got really dark, and really cold as soon as it hit totality. I have been waiting for this eclipse for probably close to 7 years. It's totally life changing, and you guys should definitely see one when you have the chance, you won't regret it.

I happened to be in Portland when this happened and it was like 99.something% covered. We were like 40 miles north of Salem which was in the totality zone, and we could've gone there but traffic was heavy at like 4 a.m. and we weren't there for the eclipse anyways... But it was still cool instead of being completely dark it looked like sunset in the sky even though it was 11 in the morning 😊

I saw the totality of this eclipse in South Carolina and it was amazing, yall definitely need to go to a totality spot in 2024. The sky had sunset colors, but in the entire bottom off the sky, not like a normal sunset in one spot. It got so much cooler, and all the birds stopped chirping and the bugs went silent. It was stunning!

I was at school during this and they gave us the special glasses and they took us outside to watch it. We were outside for a hour watching it and in the middle of the hour we were watching it it’s when it was fully covered. Also my dad was able to get really good photos of what was happening and he has a camera that’s really not good he just had to get it at the right spot on the right settings.
