my sister is an omission from breast cancer for about 10 years now. She works at a hospital up in New Jersey, and is a mammographer that’s her career, she does also do biopsies. So when women are scared they specifically ask for my sister and she has a growing clientele that people only want her to do their mammograms and their biopsies. I am so proud of her.

I've always loved Olivia & her music. She's a legend IMO. My prayers go out to her & her battle she's been dealing with. She's America's pop princess in my mind. I watched her on tv in the 70's as a child & loved her since. I use to record her on my cassette when she was on an awards show. ❤️

It’s actually curable now in many cases since treatment has advanced. There are trials for cancer vaccination and immunotherapy that is working for people this year

Oh my, I thought the same thing. I've been watching videos of her since she passed away, from the very beginning of her life, her rising career, until this video and you can clearly see her health has declined. So sad to see..
I regret back in the 70s and early 80s that I wasn't a huge fan of hers. I was a teenager and more into rock'n roll.
I remember all of her songs though. I knew nothing about her back then.
I learned so much about her over this past week.
She was quite a woman, genuine, strong, beautiful, talented, charming, etc.
What makes her more special is everyone says the same thing about her, her friends, family, entertainers, etc. Their loss is profound as they reminise about her life.
Everyone adored her..
I haven't heard anyone say one bad thing about her which is remarkable.
One of her friends said recently after she passed is to think of Olivia by singing one of your favorite songs of hers which I thought was a very touching tribute to her.
Condolences to her husband, her daughter, her family, her many close friends and all her fans.
We all share the loss of a truly beautiful person.

There's a video where she is being interviewed by a Japanese interviewer. I Think it was November 2021. That interview was concerning because Olivia sounded out of breath and was reaching for answers. Then Valentines 2022 she posted a happy valentine without a cameo visual of her but of her garden. This was when I knew Olivia was leaving us eventuality

Olivia stood in front of a 🎤 and just sung her songs without a whole circus acts of dancers and performers behind her. Most people don't remember that Olivia did the 141 miles Great China Walk to to raise money for her Cancer Wellness Center. Class Act til the end. The world will miss Olivia 😢 💔

Thanks to Olivia speaking out she’s also helping Australians trial medicinal cbd oil. It costs patients that are in desperate need of an absolute fortune for the application to TGA, appointment fees with cbd Drs and then to purchase the oil itself. But those lucky enough to be able to afford and have access to the oil it’s of great benefit. Thank you to Olivia for her work to bring cbd oil to patients of various diseases as illnesses in Australia to get some much needed help with pain relief. Including for conditions like CRPS. The delay in screening is due to the medical system being concentrated on Covid. The clinics are ignoring booking annual screenings. I have to fight to get my screening. I'm brca1+, supposed to be checked every 6 months, but insurance doesnt cover it in Cali, nor do the county programs.
And I agree that certain strains of cannabis, with specific CBD , terpenes, etc are medicinally beneficial. It's not all about thc.
That’s horrific. Why wouldn’t ins cover for someone brca1+? Makes no sense. They should be sued. Media voices should be involved too.

A lot of cancers do because they are trying to fix the problem and not deal with the cause.
There are numerous studies stating all diseases are linked to the same thing . Environmental toxins from food, water, air, personal care products, mercury fillings, , inflation, nutritional deficiencies, viruses, , parasites, bacteria, fungus, hormonal imbalances . Even in this interview, as the insidious cancer had progressed to Stage 4, she smiled an honest smile and remained a beacon of hope. She truly did beat, ( well beyond), the expectancies for living with Stage Four. And Olivia did it all with such grace. She leaves a legacy of song, love, smiles, hope, pure kindness & even a new World Class Hospital - the first of its kind, with a Wellness Centre, (urge you to look up thr dynamics behind it. I'm sure you will want to mk a donation). Also, a "Thank You" to Dr. Oz for continuing to share her good, (& sometimes, "not so good"), news with your audiences.Olivia will be known as an important pioneer for plant based medicines, pain relief and well-being diets. She was taken from us far too soon at aged 73. He approach to healing which she began advocating, WILL soon prove effective. It’s so hard to even get doctors appointments any more. It takes 3-6 months. Then a couple days before your appointment the doctor cancels. And then we wonder why people don’t bother. Don’t blame everything on covid that’s just an excuse. Doctors with no appointments or canceling appointments is what’s happening.
Yes, due to COVID. Hospitals are overflowing with anti-vaxxers and doctors/nurses are quitting left and right due to burnout. We'll be feeling the fallout from this pandemic for years.
Add to that the fact that many "doctors" don't listen and are dismissive, apathetic; even utterly rude and facetious to your face. It's been my nightmare for three years now, along with others I know, like friends and family. It's pure medical negligence which sadly causes many deaths per year. This alone, plus the financial expense, dissuades many from seeking help. I've lost all trust in them, and I'm a nursing student and daughter of a respectable, caring doctor father and nurse mother.

Radiotherapy and chemotherapy gave her 25 years of life, plant therapy only 4 ... it's a pity that she did not combine these methods ...
That’s what I was thinking too. I wish she’d done another round of chemo if top doctors thought it would be beneficial for her and also done plant based medicine along with it. Perhaps she would still be with us.
You're being very presumptuous - you don't know what she did. In other interviews, she said she was doing both plant medicine and conventional treatments - including hormone therapy and radiotherapy. Chemo isn't often recommended for Stage 4 patients, because it's not effective. And at Stage 4, 25 more years wouldn't be realistic. As it is, she did remarkably well - her cancer came back in 2013, so she lived for 9 years after her recurrence. Pretty remarkable.

She said in other interviews that she was doing plant medicine and conventional therapy including hormones and radiation (when appropriate). And at Stage 4, her time was always going to be limited - as it is, she lived with a recurrence of cancer for 9 years. Pretty good going.

Is Dr Oz living on Mars? The reason why people stopped doing cancer check ups in 2020 is because we were all in lockdown for a number of meonths. Also, hospitals were packed with covid patients, so there was really no way people could carry on doing ordinary check ups. Let's also remember that we were always told to stay indoors and only to go out IF strictly necessary.
It’s a good thing that I had the mindset to believe that scheduling and keeping my annual medical and dental appointments were essential and “strictly necessary” to leave my home. I scheduled my annual mammogram in the summer of 2020 for an October appointment and found out I had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy in December 2020. I live in northern New England in the US and for the most part people just stopped going to their regular doctor and dentist appointments out of fear. It’s too bad because many cases of cancer diagnoses were and probably still are being delayed.
@@blueberrycobbler I'm glad that you are now ok, despite having to go through a double mastectomy! You were VERY wise keeping your annual medical appointments. No doubt many cases of cancer dignoses were delayed and the consequences can be very tough. Good luck to you!!
