Very true. I grew up first learning how to sing from her records. Then I did impressions. Last week l I tried to sing her songs after not sing for 15 years and I was like what happened. I am vocally out of shape. She gives me hope to get back in the saddle and train again. She is great.
I am a chemistry teacher in Melbourne Australia who grew up loving Olivia and this is simply beautiful. I wrote to her wellness centre as l had a class of students who were themselves having their lives affected by cancer, l requested to take them on an excursion to the research arm of the centre as many had ambitions to become doctors and scientists so they could help find cures for cancer. Much to our surprise we were granted our wish and that day has inspired many bright students to follow their dreams. One of them a doctor who works at the hospital now and another won the Young Australian of the year award for her research associated with breast cancer. Olivia you inspired so many in so many ways, Chloe you are strong and beautiful and are more than capable of continuing her legacy both via music and bringing awareness to the cancer journey many face.
I have all of her music from 45s to cassette & CD (some of the 45s & albums have been inherited from my dad when he passed - he'd be the same age as Olivia if he didn't pass almost 9yrs ago) and of course downloaded onto my laptop & phone. Olivia Newton-John has a beautiful voice that matches the beauty she possesses inside and out, not to mention the talent she has. 💛💛
Christmas 1973, I was 10 years old. I remember shopping with my mom and I asked her if she would buy me a 45. I didn’t know the official name of the song, but I asked the sales guy at Kmart, and told him I remember the words went something like ‘Let me be there”... or something like that...he said “That’s the name of the song” and we walked over to the 45s and he handed it to me! Mom bought it for me. I remember it was 69 cents! I played it over and over and over again on my little record player while laying underneath the Christmas tree. Shortly after that, my dad bought me the album, and then when “If you love me let me know” came out, I got that album too! And then every single album after that! “Have you never been Mellow”, “ Clearly Love”, “Come On Over” (One of my favorites!), “Don’t Stop Believing”.....etc....I guess you could say I’ve been an Olivia fan for nearly 50 years! I’ve seen her twice in concert and always dreamed of one day meeting her. She’s always been my absolute favorite singer! And I love this duet!

Just heard/saw this for the first time. Olivia is still the Goddess that’s she’s always been and it’s wonderful to see/hear her again. Chloe is lovely and her voice is quite good. Oliva has faced unbearable loss in her life, with the passing of her beloved friends and family members. She has lived a rich life, filled with so many personal accolades, and God's abundance of blessings, with so much more to come. Her heart is overflowing with gratitude and thankfulness, which overflows from her beautiful, and gentle spirit. This music video is so precious, because it is not only a gift to us, her greatest supporters/fans, but it is a gift to her daughter Chloe, to cherish for the rest of her life, as well as any of Chloe's children (if she should have/adopt) in the future. Time is so precious, and yet, so fleeting. We must all treasure every moment we have together while it's still available to us. Being mindful that we do not own the next breath we'll draw into our lungs, which is a gift from God, should be a constant wake-up call. My daughter 10 and I, 54, listened to this today. She got the message and it was a beautiful moment for the two of us. I told her about my childhood and how Olivia inspired me with my love for singing, performing and writing. I showed her Olivia in Grease, then she was able to see the beautiful cycle of life with her as a mature woman and mother, with her own daughter singing. She was moved. I love the words of this song, beautifully sung by both. Some people here are very critical of Chloe. It would be very difficult being the only child of a Legend who has the image of being wholesome and good. But it's like an ethereal connection through music that makes her feel like family. She asked us for directions into the symposium in '91 before singing with JD that night. Olivia had a very unique quality in this day and age of overly assertive, vulgar, aggressive, tacky female performers. She was very feminine yet still overflowing with inner strength and courage. Olivia had a healing quality about her: the way she sang, moved, articulated and represented herself. I feel she was a healer as much as a performer. She was a soothing and calming presence, always, whether younger or older. She radiated light always and positivity; a very nurturing, loving, maternal (yet still sexy) energy. Many younger female performers who feel they have to expose their breasts and bodies in videos and on film and on red carpets should stop to take a look at Olivia and get an education in modesty, propriety and decorum. Your empowerment doesn’t come through giving away your modesty. It comes through valuing yourself enough not to constantly expose your body and sell yourself cheaply to anyone who will watch.

One of them a doctor who works at the hospital now and another won the Young Australian of the year award for her research associated with breast cancer. Olivia you inspired so many in so many ways, Chloe you are strong and beautiful and are more than capable of continuing her legacy both via music and bringing awareness to the cancer journey many face.

I have all of her music from 45s to cassette & CD (some of the 45s & albums have been inherited from my dad when he passed - he'd be the same age as Olivia if he didn't pass almost 9yrs ago) and of course downloaded onto my laptop & phone. Christmas 1973, I was 10 years old. I remember shopping with my mom and I asked her if she would buy me a 45. I didn’t know the official name of the song, but I asked the sales guy at Kmart, and told him I remember the words went something like ‘Let me be there”... or something like that...he said “That’s the name of the song” and we walked over to the 45s and he handed it to me!
Mom bought it for me. I remember it was 69 cents! I played it over and over and over again on my little record player while laying underneath the Christmas tree. Shortly after that, my dad bought me the album, and then when “If you love me let me know” came out, I got that album too! And then every single album after that! “Have you never been Mellow”, “ Clearly Love”, “Come On Over” (One of my favorites!), “Don’t Stop Believing”.....etc....I guess you could say I’ve been an Olivia fan for nearly 50 years! I’ve seen her twice in concert and always dreamed of one day meeting her. She’s always been my absolute favorite singer! And I love this duet!

One of the things I love most about Olivia, is her positivity, and how she just radiates niceness. It was so cool to scroll through the comments and not see one negative thing. It proves that you get back exactly what you give. She’s a great artist, and more importantly, an amazing person.

My daughter 10 and I, 54, listened to this today. She got the message and it was a beautiful moment for the two of us. I told her about my childhood and how Olivia inspired me with my love for singing, performing and writing. I showed her Olivia in Grease, then she was able to see the beautiful cycle of life with her as a mature woman and mother, with her own daughter singing. She was moved. Thank you, Olivia and Chloe for this gift. Olivia seems to have been wanting to gift us this message as a purposeful, meaningful parting gift. I am so touched... my daughter and are grateful. I love the words of this song, beautifully sung by both. Some people here are very critical of Chloe. It would be very difficult being the only child of a Legend who has the image of being wholesome and good. I think Chloe just wants to do her own thing and doesn't want to be a carbon copy of her mother. The main thing is they both appear to love each other unconditionally.

Olivia and I have met briefly before, but she has no idea how important her music has been in my life. I learned how to sing by singing her songs all my life, still do. But it's like an ethereal connection through music that makes her feel like family. She asked us for directions into the symposium in '91 before singing with JD that night. But I think her sense of direction has already mastered her journey. We love you more than words can ever say Olivia, and by proxy, Chloe also. I can't think of a song that better sums up the state of our country and world in 2021 than Window In The Wall. Chloe and Olivia's voices are blended really nicely. Thank you for offering such a wonderful opportunity for many to engage in. I only wish I had a great voice, but it took me years to face the reality that I don’t. I seemed to have lost the ability to sing a song in tune. It’s okay though. God has spared my life through two breast cancer/lymph node surgeries and I feel blessed! Love this song so much. Olivia had a very unique quality in this day and age of overly assertive, vulgar, aggressive, tacky female performers. She was very feminine yet still overflowing with inner strength and courage. Olivia had a healing quality about her: the way she sang, moved, articulated and represented herself. I feel she was a healer as much as a performer. She was a soothing and calming presence, always, whether younger or older. She radiated light always and positivity; a very nurturing, loving, maternal (yet still sexy) energy. Many younger female performers who feel they have to expose their breasts and bodies in videos and on film and on red carpets should stop to take a look at Olivia and get an education in modesty, propriety and decorum. Your empowerment doesn’t come through giving away your modesty. It comes through valuing yourself enough not to constantly expose your body and sell yourself cheaply to anyone who will watch.
