I am using a Philips GCA1200 pill shaver and I recommend it! The cheap ones aren't doing well, but the ones from a slightly higher price are sooo good! 😇
You’re the second person recommending the Philips one to me - maybe paying a little more on a lint razer, really makes a difference! Thank you for sharing 🤍
Hi Mary! Just watched your April roundup and I'm seriously impressed with your resistance to luxury temptations! 👜🛑 Especially the part about transforming that Chanel vanity case into a handbag-what a creative endeavor! If you ever need a helping hand or a second opinion on that project, just give me a shout! 😄 Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Keep up the great work and keep sharing your journey with us!
I just love how you have this inner dialogue with yourself when looking at luxury items about how you explain the rationale to buy or not buy. I think we all have the same thoughts, but it makes me smile when you say out loud what I would be thinking. I can’t tell you how many times I ‘add to cart’ only to find the item is no longer available. It just makes me happy to put it in my cart even though I don’t get it. 😊
Thank you for your kind comment 🥰 - it feels like a little relieve, when the item is no longer available: then I'm not the one any anylonger, who has to make the decision 😆
That Fendi first is lovely! 😍 I had a bag heavy month too in April, I bought a Prada bag and a Gucci bag 🫣 I’m justifying it because it was my birthday month! Luxury math! 😅
I can recommend the Philips Fusselrasierer, maybe if you can get the rechargeable one, since it’s less frustrating. I have one and It’s just amazing, works even on the small pilling on some viscose mix material items. That Chloe pin is actually cute and maybe you can use it for a fabric bag or backpack, it has two pins so inguess it would hold well in place 😊 The deal for the strap that came with the leather clutch is amazing and I am looking forward to your conversion video 🤩 Great April summary, and if you ever are unsure about a purchase, just (re)list it for sale, even if it takes longer, in the end, someone will buy it. Had myself a journey with a vintage Bottega bag that looked cute but just did not end up working for me, it took 3 years until someone bought it and I even got to sell it for almost what I had paid. 😊
You’re the third person recommending the Philips one - I think that’s a sign and I should give it a try 😁👌. I‘m with you: I do list items, that I hadn’t used for a while (if it’s something I don’t want to just „keep&collect) - it might take forever, but some day, somone might end up buying it (like the jeans shorts in this video, that I had listed for more then 10years 😂). Luckily storage isn’t that rare, when living in a small village instead of the big city😆🙈
I don’t think you did bad at all! I want to see more on the vanity bag because I’m always hesitant to do that kind of conversion thinking I might ruin it, which I know can’t actually happen! I love the Jimmy Choo bag. Yes, those sandals were a hard no!
Yep, it was important for me to get a conversion solution, that’s not permanent - I couldn’t handle to put damage, like any kind of holes, on a Chanel bag 😁. Video update to come 🖤
I struggle with this too so no judgment, but maybe it would help you be more mindful to remember that just because something is a good deal does not mean you have to buy it. If it's not something you need, or want, or would otherwise buy, then it is not really a good deal at all. When I'm tempted by a bargain I try to stop and think about whether I actually like the item or if I just want it because it feels like a deal. It helps me some times say no to things! Also, I LOVE that Fendi First! It looks so nice!
You're absolutely right: resisting what seems to be a "good deal" is my biggest shopping struggle/temptation. I try to get better with it, but sometimes in the heat of the shopping-moment, I forget to reflect on it. Back in the days, when I told my parents about a sale and an item that I bought reduced "and saved soooo much", my Dad always used to say "you saved nothing at all, you SPEND x-amount" - and that's the way I should try to look at it: if I didn't need/actually want it in the first place, no sale should make me buy it 🙈
The Coach tote seems like a very practical bag so I’d say it was a good deal! The bag rental is such a good one 💎 there used to be a similar one here in Finland as well but maybe there wasn’t big enough market for that kind of service 😬
I‘m kinda curious, how well bag renting companies are doing financially - if I calculate it through, it takes maaaany months, until a bag is completely paid for in their business 🤔
Gleener Ultimate lint remover is the quickest and best I’ve found and can recommend. Takes me far less time to de-pill knitwear and I’ve even done cushions with it. You scored a cute top and cardigan for €12! Love the Fendi First.
Thank you for the lint razer recommendation- I hadn’t even consideres ones without battery 🤔 it actually might be the better solution for my chunky kind of alpaca pilling 😅👍
With lintrazors, I always notice it takes a few times before it really works well if you don't do it often. E.g. I will lint razor my sweaters every few times I wear it. Butt if it's never been done, it does take a few tries!
That cardigan and top probably never had seen a lintrazor before 😆 they had teeeerrible pilling all over, but I think now I came to a point, the next lintrazor-session might not be that bad anymore 😁👌
LOVE the Fendi first - that is such a gorgeous and unique clutch. Also love the Coach tote -- Coach is my first love! : ) (And I do the same kind of reasoning with finances as you! lol)
😳 good point, I didn’t even notice myself - but you’re absolutely right: I didn’t own a Coach bag in quite a while (sold all the ones I used to own already way before I started my channel 🤔)
Mary your Coach tote it's already reversed 😅 the outside it's the carriege pattern 😁 Nice one made in Jan 2020 😊 Yes I'm a bit of Coach nerd 🙈 And don't worry about reversing it, it's a boutique piece so it handles the stress quit well (I have one but in red roses pattern)
Hahahha, oh that's such a nice detail to know: guess then I prefer the inside pattern on that bag 😂. Great to know aswell, that it has even been a boutique piece (I never know how to tell, if a Coach bag is from the outlet or boutique 🙈 - I'm clearly not an expert on the brand).
@@LuMiLevelUpan outlet piece have a letter before the style number 😁 So explaining your bag... A2054 - A(January) 20(year) 54(factory) 91107(Style number) if it was a Outlet piece it would have a C or a F before that number 😉 once you know how it's easy to read the creed 😁
@@LuMiLevelUpOh forgot an advice, no shoe polish on the bag(it has components that damage the bag) instead go to a cobbler a buy specific paint to dye leather and paint the corners with a small brush or qtip. It's only a couple of €€ and it's worth it 😉

Luxury Mathematics is among my principal sins! 🤣🤣👍. Thank you for the video. Loving the stingray card holder!!! The tote is a fabulous deal!!
I wore the tote today 😍 it’s perfect for me. Like a black, more carefree Neverfull 😁🖤

I love your flea market purchases the most!! 🤩
Me too: it's just the very best prices on luxury items 😁
Bicester village had a mini peekaboo in nude blush and it was soooo tempting. I love all the purchases this month and the cardigan looks cute :)
That sounds indeed very tempting! The Fendi Blush-Nude is such a pretty shade 🤩
