The No Jump Challenge is simple, with my spacebar disabled, I have to beat Terraria From Start To Finish. We can't jump, fly using wings nor use any mounts. Can we beat terraria, without Jumping or Flying?
And yes, this video was inspired by @SampleChample and his no jump videos.

This is not 100 days in Master mode terraria, nor 100 days in Hardcore Terraria, or 100 Days in Hardcore Minecraft. This is also not a terraria race, or a terraria race randomizer video. This is a challenge video, where I figure out if beating Terraria Without Jumping or Without Flying is Possible. This is Terraria No Jump Challenge, or Terraria But you can't jump. Im not sure lol. Does anyone even read this? terraria but im a really cool guy

The horseshoe isn’t useless. It still helps you with falling, which is not jumping
@@judochopknell3186 he isn't trying to say the horseshoe is useless, he means the wings aren't useless either cause they also prevent fall damage. Also the horseshoe doesn't do anything for jumping in the first place

(For those of you who do not know, before update 1.2 you would need to jump over single block high inclines, rather than automatically stepping up them)
i renember playing that version on the xbox 360 edintion, IT WAS PAIN.
I play terraria since it came out, I remember that you ALWAYS had to jump, the poor space button would be destroyed daily there, any block is needed to jump, unless its flat haha.
Now I just wanna do cool challenges as I beat the game too many times, so I am ready to take the game and restrict myself haha.

This is an absolutely genius challenge idea, but how about this: Master Mode Terraria but the first slot is reserved for a Gravity Globe with no modifiers, and you have to beat the world while always upside-down.
You would just fall into the sky when you joined
I have no idea if this is possible but I have an idea for a video . Using a mod could you and your friend share an inventory but on different worlds ? And you both have to complete the game
I like this idea, but it may be more possible in the same world
@@marsamelic if it was on different worlds, you could race each other tho. And try to steal stuff from each other
I'm a modder and this definitely is possible as Terraria mods are just made in C# but it would require a lot of setup and you'd need to find a modder who had enough time on their hands!

it might be easier if you use subworlds? does the work of having multiple worlds on the same server for you
@@auseawesome9112 I think the issues is you have to change how the game saves because it normally only saves your inventory on stuff like character death. It's doable, but you'd probably have to make your own separate save file that stores shared character inventory, and then literally every time either play put something in, took something out, or used something, the inventory would have to save. This seems insanely slow. Theres no way the computer could handle saving to and loading from a system file every single time you shoot one bullet, especially if you then have to send that file to the other computer to be then loaded. Synchronization would be extremely difficult. You might be able to do something like, make an exception for rapid consumables like bullets and not share those, or only share that data after 100 of them get used or something. Still, this seems like a lot of custom code. To really make it work well you'd have to make some better network sharing connections than just simple old saving to disk and sending the save probably

The way this man asked ‘what happened?’ in response to a boss despawning because he got too far away is certainly an interesting thing so have somehow never happened to him prior.
I thought it was more because the boss despawned immediately after being summoned
The problem was more like the boss spawned too far away to begin with and immediately despawned.
To an extent, this would actually be kind of beneficial for people like me who hate having to play ‘who’s better?’ with accessories because it frees up like, a lot of accessory slots. Then again, that doesn’t make up for the absolute suffering of everything else about this run.
btw tip: recall potions are much faster than magic mirrors. they can really be the difference when fighting bosses and recalling
Love the use of calamity mod music despite it being vanilla terraria lol. Also, i personally would’ve gotten a mount like the pirate ship or the witches broom, as I don’t think they require space bar to move.

I haven’t finished the vid yet but I thought of a stray for boss fights during the run, spend some time getting diving gear and a inner tube and make your boss arena a big pool, to control vertical movement that way you only need to use the down key, no space bar required
After fighting Devourer of gods for over 4 hours to get my first kill ever on master, and ragequiting. I turn on that vid to get some chill, TO HEAR THE SAME BLASTED MUSIC.

6:30 funny enough, if you have the terragrim you can kill the brain of cuthulu without moving or getting hit
You can release your hook by using single-chain hooks(regular hook, squirrel hook, and the gem hooks) and just hook into thin air. Or you can equip your mount/minecart, which I believe if you time it right, you'll still keep the momentum. You can also zoom through doors if you have good precisions

Btw you can *almost* kill moon lord's top eye if you use an unreal phantasm, shroomite's invisibility armor thingy, menacing accessories, and chlorophyte arrows. I did that in my first master mode play through and I was able to kill the top eye before he shot the first death ray lol

One immediate question I have about this: why the speedrun houses? With the high climbing they weren't any faster to build than normal 4 tall or 5 tall houses, and normal houses would have saved a whole lot of Blood Moon deaths.

cant believe someone like that "necr0" guy almost has as many subs as you, his challenges are like defeating terraria only using swords(not true melee, he uses terrablade) and terraria but i start with the calmity murasama and only do vanilla campaign on classic mode, both challenges were on classic difficulty

this is perfect for the anti-grav or static hooks.
What about with no jumping, and no movement accessories? That means no hooks, no shield of Cthulhu or master ninja gear, no wings, no jumping, no mounts. Literally just walking is how you move

you can click the mount button with no mout equipped to unhook your grapple
they should make it so that you can unhook on a grappling hook just by using on of your movement binds
I think one of the worst bosses for this challenge at their normal point in progression is queen bee
My first playthrough I didn't even know the Rod of discord existed
in theory
after infinite flight mounts are gained thats it, you can asscend on those by pressing up, not by pressing spacebar (altho spacebar does give you a faster boost off of the ground)...just that all 3 of those are...quite late, broom from pumpking in expert, ufo from martian saucer, and the mining unit made post moonlord
also gravity potions can work but boy are they disorienting

You can cancel out of a grapple by pressing the mount button
Console version has its own grapple and ungrapple button if you wanna try an Easter version
Honestly this could lead to advantages in some cases, no worrying about wings taking up accessory slots. Could lead to higher DPS or Defense.

The secret way to unhook is to... wait about ten minutes. It falls off on its own!

you can just press r to unhook and if you have a mount just press r twice if you dont want a mount on
What if you did terraria (calamity would be even better) where you can’t use weapons, the only damaging things you can really use are potions, accessories that can deal damage, and armor set bonuses that deal damage
Easier version: for accessories that give extra projectiles to attacks (or armor bonuses like orichalcum), you can use an extremely weak weapon (like some of the pre-boss bows)
