Summoner has always been my favorite class since I started playing. To have so much power but such little defense is an interesting concept and also many minions make brain go burh.
i mean if big damage and low defense is what you want then mage is prolly the way to go, but 8 gazillion minions on screen does make my brain happy too
I tried to do summoner (on expert maybe i should try classic) but i couldnt beat any mech boss no matter how many buffs i had, and i had the best gear possible at that point. Might just be a skill issue but idk
I'm a beginner at Hollow Knight that started playing about a month ago and saw this and pogged, I wanna try and get 112% of the game before beating it tho so wish me luck, 'm currently on the King Grimm fight and And Godmaster DLC and am yet to upgrade the fragile charms And get all the Grubs.
Event Horizon is a term when a gravity well is so strong, that an area where the escape velocity exceeds the speed of light. AKA a freaking black hole! So it makes sense that an minion that throws black holes is an end game summon.
I’m fairly sure the pets from the bows are all references to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and the little quiz you do to find out which Pokémon you are at the beginning of the game. Like the hedgehog on fire is absolutely a cyndaquil.
This mod used to be at least somewhat balanced on its own. But now that it’s updated to a 1.4 version of Terraria, all the QoL features it adds are frankly downright overpowered. At least, more overpowered than summoner already is.
when 1.4 was in beta i tried it, it was actually fairly balanced, i don’t know if they changed anything but the prices of the early game equipment was hecka expensive.
thats cause the mod isn't meant to be played with whips. we originally designed it with 1.3 terraria in mind, hence the squires meant as replacements for whips in terraria. however its kind of busted now because you're able to gain access to weapons like whips and just in general the balance is a bit wack. we're trying to fix it though! :)
LET'S GO! I played through this whole mod and it's so fun, the summons' designs are really cool and the squires' right click ability plus the whips it's just OP. And Adrian FINALLY playing 1.4 modded, what I like about Master Mode it's the extra accessory slot, with mods it's ironically more balanced than vanilla, also Adrian you should've fought the night time Empress of Light, her squire's right click ability it's on par with the stardust squire and in my opinion it's better to use.
Fun fact: I found out that you can still use squire abilities with whips, dunno about other weapons, or other squires. But I know the sky squire and whips work together.

Yes I have a copy of explorers of darkness. I have had it since I was a kid... when did they come out? If it was after 2007 then they were made after I was born. So much nostalgia.
Hey amulet of many minions! I love this mod! So many super cool and unique summons and the revamped vanilla summons too! Super fun mod use it all the time when I can if the mod I’m using doesn’t like summons. Oh also you’re hair look super cool!
my exams finished today. and i cannot tell you how nice it is not having to do anything and i dont have to work on weekends anymore before a weekend didn't seem like much to me but damn in these past 6 months i cant express to you how amazing a full 2 days of breaks sounds
The crystal fist staff in this mod is insanely op and one of the first staffs you can obtain in hard mode its the second best summon in my opinion if not the best

I am a very lazy person, so I was drawn to the summoner class. After a while though, I realized that the weapon amount was pretty low. When I found this mod, I loved it. Before the combat pets were a thing I used it. It does the summoner class justice. I hope this mod gets more recognition like calamity, thorium, Fargo’s mod and the mod of redemption.
This is the cutest mod i found Idk if there is another even more cute But the amount of new summons and pets is so cool Including the lot of slimes that this mod add

I love summoner class but when me my little brother and my older sister play together my older sister always does summoner but I started modded with this mod and loved it
I’m in the middle of a play through where I have this mod,Fargos souls mod, and calamity and unofficial calamity whips. It’s been a blast playing through it PS: honestly default summoner is just to linear, it’s basically just a straight line the whole time, also doesn’t help that a lot of summoner items are luck based.
Idk if it's in this mod but minion behavior changes if you summon 4 copies of the same minion for example: imps create a floating pentagram and basically becomes a penta-minigun

The AI for the summons in this mod, as well as the ability to specify targeting makes summoner 500% more fun to play, and it's so amazing
