What I enjoy most about you is that you try a variety of foundation finishes despite your oily skin type. You also go on to tell us dry skin ladies what will work for us since it didn't work for your skin. Your reviews cover all skin types for women over 40 and that's a blessing. I may have to try the Lancome now that there's no fragrance. Thanks for the roundup!!
I’m also over 40 and have very oily skin plus some texture on my cheeks. I value your opinions on foundations and other makeup as well. Your descriptions have been accurate, and I’m happy with your videos and all of the info you give.
I agree with you on foundations being a disaster for us oily skin women.. I’m 48 and have very oily skin.. all the foundations seem to be glowy and for dry skin - so irritating.. I’m also glad u brought up the Sephora reviews and filtering them- I have already been doing that but I’m glad u said it for ppl who didn’t know- it’s a sneaky practice Imo that they do with their reviews .. great video!
I had oily skin and hair all my life, started menopause at 59, finished at 61 and suddenly, dried out like a prune!!! Now I have to use everything moisture added....😢
I am 50 and have oily skin and the KVD Serum foundation has become my holy grail. I just cannot stop using it and have received compliments on my complexion even from coworkers. I agree that the hard part was finding the perfect shade which I found in my second purchase.
I’m 56 with combo skin and I’m also loving the KVD. It slips on super easily, and looks amazing with or without a primer, and it’s one of two foundations that I can actually wear without a finishing powder if I want. I’ve worn it at events where I was dancing & sweating and out for hours, and it still looked amazing when I came home at 3:00 a.m.

Wow, 70 and still oily skin!! I was until menopause, at 61, after menopause finished, dry, dry, dry!! Have to find all new products to suit/feed my new skin-type!!
I'm not sure why skin care is being incorporated into foundation, because I look at those as two different things. My dream is to find a foundation that matches my skin and one that would last 5 hours or so. This 24 hour lasting promise is nonsense. Thanks for your reviews.

I understand completely. It’s the same for me. As soon as you put in your age you’re directed to something “glowy” or “radiant” or “dewy”. It’s very frustrating for us oily gals!
Your input is the reason I purchased Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation for my now menopausal oily to oily/combo skin, and I can't thank you enough. I feel pretty again!
I used to have dry skin (before MENOPAUSE) NOW AT 48, who suffers from bad PMS and MENOPAUSE ISSUES my skin is dry / combo/ and oily... day to day I never know. WHY???!!!
Thank you for all you do for us mature, oily skin ladies! I love your content and trust your opinions. I am always excited to see any new videos from you. You are one of my absolute favs!! You are so beautiful Risa! 💜
New to your channel after stumbling across an eye tutorial of yours. And now I'm excited to hear that you're an oily gal! I have followed a couple other oily gals, but they are young so the struggles aren't the same. Looking forward to watching more!
Thanks for making this video, it's a good heads up for people that have oily skin and I have been watching you long enough to value your thoughts and opinions.❤
I've been using the Revlon Illuminance for a while now. I absolutely love it! Although I do have quite dry skin, don't need medium coverage, and want a dewy finish. I do use a primer, a sponge to apply, and a setting spray to keep it from fading throughout the day and settling into my wrinkles. Beware the color is much darker in the bottle than when applied. I am a MAC NC20 and I purchased Revlon 201 Creamy Neutral. It looked too dark for me, but was a perfect match if not a tiny bit too light.
I always appreciate your reviews. I'm 10 years older than you with normal to dry skin currently. I used to have have combination skin with an oily T-zone and normal cheeks. That changed after menopause. I take into account your skin type when you review foundations. I also love your makeup application instruction. Thank you, Risa!
I have mature skin but still have a lot of oil in the T-zone. I find a lot of popular foundations break up on me long before my day is done. I find myself going back to my Estee Lauder Double Wear. Thank you for your reviews. That's a big chunk of change for anyone.
I have the same skin mature with oily t-zone and love Estée Lauder Double Wear, it’s the only one I can totally rely on. Sometimes I mix it with other foundations to give more coverage and staying power.🥰💜
I would love to see your foundation round up- old and new- for oily skin. I think you mentioned Mac Studio Fluid Fix but I don’t know if I have seen you use it in a video!
I'm 59, pretty much 'normal' skin but lately with dry patches. I've tried so many products of Saie and I just don't care for them. I find them to not last on my skin at all. I haven't bought anything new from them in a year and probably won't. As far as the Revlon foundation...this has been my go to since the heat and humidity has turned up in Houston, Tx. I'm not a powder girl but I do powder, ever so slightly my t-zone with this one. But I find it to last and make my skin 'fresh' throughout these hot summer days (but I'm not only!). Appreciate your honestly!!!
Thank you Risa! I always try to remember to check your video reviews before I buy a new cosmetic product. I ALMOST bought the Revlon today and so happy I waited to see your review!! I’m combination with large pores and would have ended up hating it. My current faves are EL DoubleWear, L’Oréal Infallible 24 Hour and L’Oréal Infallible Powder Foundation.
Hi Risa, I am 57 with very oily skin and I love the Laura Mercier Flawless. My skin tone is similar to yours and Soft Sand is perfect for me. I apply the blurring primer first then mix 2 drops foundation and 1 drop illuminating primer with my fingers. I then use Charlotte Tilbury setting spray directly over the foundation BEFORE using LM setting powder. I am a hairstylist in a rather humid salon environment and have never had an issue with it.
As always, I really appreciate your honest feedback about products. I’m 54 and I have oily, not-so-perfect skin. I’m always looking for makeup that is natural-looking but with very good coverage. I don’t mind having to use a primer and actually prefer to use one to even out texture before I apply my foundation. I always look to your reviews for excellent and honest opinions for those of us with mature and oily skin. I live in Florida so, of course, humidity is a constant battle when trying to keep makeup looking good, as well! Thanks, again, for your honest, professional advice. 💕
Love your videos! My skin is on the dryer side and the Revlon Illuminance foundation is my current holy grail! I love a diffused, radiant med/full coverage foundation and for me that is exactly what this one is. So funny how different everyones skin is! :🥰
I so appreciate you because I feel sometimes that the older market assumes we all have dry skin not super oily skin, which I have. Too faced peach perfect foundation was one of my favorites and I have been on the hunt for something similar for a long time. I used to use ELDW but really wanted a cruelty free option. I find for a couple of categories - foundation and mascara, I have not found anything that works on my oily skin that is cruelty free - I have problems with mascara running and flaking on me bc of oily skin - yes, I powder my under eyes but then you know how then your under eyes can look really dry. Oily skin struggles!
Thank you so much!! I have dry mature skin and used to use Lancome Idole Ultra Wear Foundation. However I don't like the new formula. The Lancome ladies know me at the counter as I'm a Platinum member. I've been searching for the last few weeks and tried at least 8 high end foundations which have all been disappointing. I even reached out to Lancome customer care and the Lancome counter manager to no help. However it wasn't until I just watched your video to see you recommending Teint Indole Ultra Wear Care and Glow for dry and mature skin!!! So I just wanted to say a very BIG THANK YOU!! I'm definatley going to give this feed back to Lancome as I have been using all the skincare and makeup for well over 30 years and the first time I'm disappointed with a product I have no help until you came along Risha.
@Risa thank you for this video, so helpful! I would love to see you try the No7 Lift & Luminate foundation, and even the No7 serum foundation. I think you might like it and I never hear anyone talking about it! It’s a gem especially for summer!
From someone with super super dry skin I wish I had oily skin. The discomfort I feel from any foundation is awful and it doesn't matter how well I prep my skin. All my money goes on skincare to just feel mildly comfortable. I still love watching your reviews to find which ones don't work on you and hoping they will work on me.
Here's an idea that I hope will work for you...find a sunscreen you really like and add a little bit of foundation to it...start with a couple of drops and add a bit more til you get the shade you like...I'm right-handed so I mix it on the top of my left hand...what ever is left can be used to protect the tops of your hands ...hope this works for you!
Hi Risa I'm 51 with very very dry skin (rosacea and eczema plus fully menopausal). Despite having a very different skin type your reviews are still helpful, as if you love it I most likely won't lol. I mainly watch for reviews that aren't foundation based though tbh. I have used the previous incarnation of the lancome teint idole for many years and the new version does not work for me. I used to be able to use the teint idole for longwear or for Summer without needing to powder and it lasted really well on me. Apart from the fact my shade 008/091 disappeared with no actual alternative in the new formulation, it's now very drying and unwearable on me. The care and glow similarly does not have a shade match and is also useless to me. After a decade of buying Lancome foundation I had to find an alternative, so I went foundation shopping a few months ago now. My new pick is very different from the Lancome I previously used (I bought a back up of my shade in the previous version as my local rep gave me the heads up before the reformulation was announced thankfully) and I really like the new foundation I found - the Givenchy glow. This is really pretty on dry skin, but it's thinner and a bit less coverage (although it can be built up). For days I really want that max longwear i'm still using the old Lancome, but I'm enjoying the Givenchy for days I don't need bulletproof wear. The hunt continues for a replacement for the original teint idole, but I have time as I have a new unopened bottle anyway. Best wishes.
I really appreciate that although your recommendations are primarily for those who have oily skin, that you also include those of us with dry skin. I have been extremely curious about that KVD foundation and will try to get a sample to try it first as well as the Lancome Teint Idole so I can see if either or both works for me. 🌹
Love your foundation videos, Risa. I had just watched a Tati video where she was raving about the Mercier foundation but when I read the reviews they seemed kinda shady. TY for providing more info! Imo re: B-roll, don't need to see all the "no's," but def would have liked to have seen more of the yes and maybes. You left space for the Gucci but nothing was inserted and the Tiente Idole you also rather liked so I was hoping to view it on your skin. The comparison really does make a difference. TY! ❤
Don't know if you have tried YSL All Hours...but you should!!! 52 years old here and it is the best I have ever used. Beautiful coverage and lasts like Estee Lader.
Hey Risa thanks for sharing this I have to agree with you on the foundations I picked up the Revlon & the Laura Mercier ones & had to give them to my daughter See you soon ❤
I have always had dry skin, but no matter, I respect your views with this video as to your own experience. I use a very moisturizing foundation, the Ilia Serum Foundation with the sunscreen in it. Many people probably find it too moisturizing, but I am fine with that. I really can’t wear foundations that are for oily skin, as they are drying and look terrible on my mature skin! I also like that it has sun protection, and it is a clean makeup. I am far older than you. I have stopped subscribing to all makeup artists and influencers on RUclips, except you!
To add to my ‘foundation experience’ comment here, I add more coverage by mixing in L’Oreal (yes) or other foundations with the Ilia, when I want more coverage.
I'm 51 years old with dry skin and I just want to say that you are right about everything!! I watch your foundation reviews mostly because I know that if they work for you, they won't work for me and vice-versa. I love the Revlon, the LM looks great on me and I have to hydrate really well before applying it or it will look dry, and the old Lancôme Teint Idole also worked really well for me, but not the new one (both because of formula and shades since they don't run fair enough anymore). The Saie looked awful on me, even with dry skin! 😂Thanks for all the great and honest reviews!! ❤
I LOVE my KVD!! It IS a heavier foundation but i was willimg to trade that off for it being non-transferring. BUT....I had to take a couple years away from wearing makeup up due to an allergic reaction. When I went back to wearing it, it was too light. SO, I endeded up mixing my IT CC, which for my 60 year old very combination skin is too much for my t zone, but perfect for my cheeks. They seem to magically balance each other out and when stipple on with a brush and blended out will last beautifully from 5am to 8pm. Thank you for you inner beauty and for sharing your outer Beauty secret, tips and tricks.❤🎉
Have you tried the YSL and the Valentino? The glowy trend certainly has created an issue for oily proned skintypes. I bought Tom Ford and Nars light reflecting and Nars is my fav. Underwhelmed with TF. But I'm dry so I seek a bit of hydration. Really well done video Risa. Thank you for all your hard work
I've only recently found you Risa, and naturally I've subscribed. You are a game changer and fantastically honest! I love your channel. Thank you so much. Sending love from the UK. xxx
Thank you so much for the feedback. There may be another fondation release which could interest you : Guerlain, Parure Gold Skin Matte. It seems very smoothing and good lasting power. I have not tried it yet for myself, I heard about it liké 2 days ago on a french channel byreo. I'm repeating myself, but I really like your channel and wish you the best Risa. I love the authenticity here really. Have a good day 😁🌈
Hi Risa absolutely agree with the makeup by mario 100% I was so sad to be disappointed it went back immediately- it was that bad and I don't usually return either.
I would love to see the b-roll of the wear to see what you don’t like about it. Especially since I though the makeup by Mario looked amazing on you in the tik Tok you did. I love your thorough reviews! Thank you!!
That’s the trouble with video. It’s hard to see the real result because when you add any kind of external light, it blurs everything a bit. The only way for me to truly show what it looked like would have been to go outside on a bright sunny day, which unfortunately isn’t always possible. 😕
When I first got the Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Foundation, I applied it with a sponge and was disappointed. Then I got the Laura Mercier Real Flawless Foundation, and it was a game changer. I didn’t think that using a foundation brush, or the Laura Mercier foundation brush in particular, would make much of a difference, but that foundation is really meant to be applied with that foundation brush for the best results.
Even though I do not have oily skin, I value your reviews because I do prefer more full coverage foundation. Thanks for the tip on filtering out verified purchases in reviews!
I like the description box was in same order as video. The Lancome sounds interesting. I'd probably try something a little less $. I have oily combination skin. I'm just using a NARS powder right now. Liquid foundations make my pores/texture look worse. Might get sample of the Lancome though. Ty. 🤗😚
Love your videos! I’m 48 with normal skin..I love the Revlon foundation but I like the reformulated Colorstay even more! I used to hate that foundation when I was younger 😂
I have normal to oily also, more oily in the t-zone. I agree, all that are coming out are a “glow”. Nope, can’t do that….I’m 63, not 23. I didn’t like most of the high end ones, just by testing the feel on the back of my hand. I’ve been wearing L’Oréal Infallible but wanted something better. I’m now on the Maybelline Fit Me matte and poreless….so far so good! Thank you for this vid! I’ll have to test the KVD
I am very picky on foundations simply bc I have same skin type as Risa, also I really dislike the shiny look after 6 hours into my day. I haven't bought any new foundations since Mel Thompson died, (I used to go to her recommendations for all my makeup purchases). So I bought the kvd good apple foundation mentioned in this video. And YES! I really love the texture, coverage, lasting power and the colour match is excellent. I also love the packaging of kvd products. Much appreciated for Risa's channel. ❤
I have given up on liquid,it never dries, always tacky, and have to use powder on top to mattify, set and stop the greasy feel. I use powder mineral foundation.
Risa, I’m 65 and I too have oily skin and large pores. I have come to rely on you for my foundations because we are very similar in skin type. This video has saved me a fortune. I’m wondering if you have tried that new maybelline skin tint? Love your videos. I’ve been watching for years!
When the KVD first launched I was In Sephora planning on buying the foundation.. Funny that the sales girl actually talked me out of it…. She did not think it was good for mature skin. She’s probably right, because I have to be so careful with Estee Lauder double wear or else I will look cakey, dry and ready to lay in a casket.😮 Then, was looking at the Haus Labs that just launched, and she talked me out of that one as well… She sold me di Giorgio Armani luminous silk, which is a beautiful foundation… I do love it, but I was looking for full full coverage, and Armani gives you a really good coverage, but not completely full.. I should’ve got the samples and made my own choice… Right now I have a little color on my face, but when that goes away, I’ll head back and get the KVD.. I know I can return it if it doesn’t work, but I am not want to ever return makeup… plus Sephora is around a 25 minute drive for me and I’m too lazy to return to be quite honest..😂 Thank you for the reviews
What do you recommend for scars? I never wore makeup, but recently had a spot basal cell carcinoma removed, which left me with a scar from my nose to my lip and down my cheek a little. I’m very self conscious, so am shopping for a good foundation (typically oily skin). Thank you.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Camouflage makeup.. it was made to cover tattoos and scars, etc. it’s very full coverage but I prefer using my fingers to apply it so it melts in my skin better. Hope this helps
I agree 💯. It’s like some people have completely forgotten that there is life outside of “online” and also death and she is very sick. It’s quite sad. 😞💚
Lancome gal since 1985. I have tried anything else over years, and some are okay and even good. None come close to Lancome for me. I started with TeintIdole and have graduated to Renergie in what is nearly forty years of use. Lancome continues to innovate their formulas. They also have a great lighter weight foundation with SPF which I believe is still or now Beifaite Teinte. It is better for me in the summer. I have not tied the new formula Teinte Idole, but will sample because of this review and Lancome has been my tried and true. It's a bit more pricey than some others, but it does really require less product for more benefit with me. I like they have several formulas and all perform well. I have older combination to dry skin now. Renergie is working well for my skin now. I really want to try Double wear again with a lighter hand 😊. Other foundations look great, Dewey not oily, or cakey with natural looking coverage and wear well but it seems they do clog pores with use over time. Lancome does not do that with my skin. It looks clean and fresh. Thanks for this video.
Great video Risa!! I have not tried any of these foundations myself, but I love knowing your thoughts !! Have you tried Dior face and body?? I’m interested but won’t buy until I know your thoughts.
My honest review here, from someone who is not paid or compensated to say this: Revlon Colorstay Full Coverage foundation - love it! It's the full coverage cousin to Revlon Colorstay. Really covers! Really stays!
I always look out for your recommendations as someone who is going on 47 with still VERY oily acne prone skin. It's so frustrating because I want long-lasting coverage but not something that's cakey or too age appropriate that it slides off in an hour.
Thanks for the overview. I have normal to dry when I’m home in Utah, but normal to dry when spending time in the Gulf coast of the US. I for sure change my foundation based on location. I’ll have to drag out my EL double wear for travel (which I failed to do this trip).
Good morning from Paris, I am new on your channel, and I have been watching your videos since 3 days. I learned some things that I had the wrong information but mostly what I appreciate is your frank and honest speaking. Thank you for being you. Change nothing if you allow me to say so.
Risa help! I love your suggestions in the video and always love your content. I turn 50 in November and have normal to dry skin in the winter months. I live in very dry climate. I currently use Nars light reflecting foundation and I do like it but have found it to be a bit drying what might you recommend I try. Thanks
I'm glad to hear your opinion! I'm just a wee bit older than you, and half way between Houston and San Antonio, just south of I-10. 👍😉. (you've never heard of my small town unless you're a champion domino player 😆)
Risa…..you were absolutely without a doubt 💯% , on 🎯🎯target!!! Omg!!! You just validated my opinions of these as well!! And this is coming from a dry/dehydrated skin type person. I disliked all of these the Make-up by Mario evaporated in my skin, the KVD was plaster on me lol, the Gucci looked ok for 3 hours then dusted off, Saie was like skincare never really stayed, the Laura Mercier was patchy goop….Lancôme was decent but, matte not my thing….so I tried the Lancôme Renergie was sheer in me and for $63 bucks….umm no thanks,I’ll pass. Looove all your reviews…. thank you, you are amazing❣️💖❣️💖
Yes, always helpful dear Risa, such a good video!!!👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I have sometimes normal, mostly dry skin, but love to hear your super professional thought about foundations and why, loved to watch and listen this!!! My best friend has oily skin, and indeed, it's not always easy to find good products, she also loved the Estee Lauder foundation you mentioned, but lots of foundations are to dewy/oily for her. I have also sensitive skin Risa, so the choice is more easy than, but crazy lots of products for my skintype, i think they should do that better. Because i prefer the soft Japanese products, like Koh Gen Do, Cle de Peau, Suqqu foundaton in the black jar at no. 1, further Chantecaille foundations. But when something is a bit fragranced i first use a softer primer to protect my skin. But interesting to hear, you have the same skintype as my best friend!!! Have a wonderful day!!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘

What are you talking about?
It’s all marketing. Then when the masses go shopping, they are willing to spend more on a product that touts skin care benefits.

I am 48 with normal skin and I love the Revlon foundation. I find it to be medium coverage and just so beautiful on my skin.
Love this video! I am 65 with oily skin. KVD is my new favorite foundation.
Thank you for all your time and honesty with these reviews Risa. Your just awesome, and greatly appreciated!
Thank You and HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ♥️
You are beautiful 🤩 and I always appreciate the honesty and articulate information♥️🥰
Have you tried the KVD? It’s cruelty free!
I love your videos, I was wondering if you ever do videos on all natural non-toxic make up.
❤ I would love this too
Thank you for doing this for more
Mature women! I’m 52 and value your opinion!!! Your videos are greatly appreciated!!!
Love this review. I work for Lancome and the new Teint Idole review is accurate
If you can’t afford the Lancôme matching primer do you recommend any drug store primers to use with it?
Great job and overall coverage of these foundations!
Your vids are the best! Even when the information does not apply to me I love watching you! Always fun and informative ;)
Here's an idea that I hope will work for you...find a sunscreen you really like and add a little bit of foundation to it...start with a couple of drops and add a bit more til you get the shade you like...I'm right-handed so I mix it on the top of my left hand...what ever is left can be used to protect the tops of your hands
...hope this works for you!
I love the new Lancôme formula as well. In the 90s I was a loyal Lancôme girl !!!!
TY! ❤
I love foundation "round-ups". Thank you, Risa. I have VERY greasy skin, so I do very much value your opinion. Thanks for all your help!!
Great, super helpful video, Risa! What lip combo are you wearing in this video?
I will add it the video description asap!
@@RisaDoesMakeup Thank you! I really like the reformulated Lancome Teint Idole. Never tried the original.
Don't know if you have tried YSL All Hours...but you should!!! 52 years old here and it is the best I have ever used. Beautiful coverage and lasts like Estee Lader.
Hey Risa thanks for sharing this I have to agree with you on the foundations I picked up the Revlon & the Laura Mercier ones & had to give them to my daughter
See you soon ❤
Love your top/dress!! Wonderful video as always❤
Thank you so much! 🥰 I’m so glad to hear you found a foundation that works well for you! Foundation/skin is the key to any good makeup look!
Always grateful for your honest feedback..I'm sorry to say I did not have any luck with the Mario or the Laura Mercier either..:(
I work 12 hour shifts at a 911 center and the Lancome lasts on me all day. I'm 58, have oily skin (still) and live in FL
Have you tried Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Foundation? It makes skin look flawless, natural and lasts all day. AMAZING!
Thank you! It’s beyond frustrating trying to find an honest opinion… most blogger’s hide that their review is sponsored.
Thursday Risa upload! Let's go!!
Sending love from the UK. xxx
Thank you so much!
New subscriber.🎉 really like your channel but can you talk about dry skin?
Very thorough video, Risa, thank you 💖. You're the best!
Have a good day 😁🌈
Will you be trying the new smashbox always on? Is the packaging different for the new lancome ? Ty! You look beautiful as always!
Yes! I plan on purchasing it next week.
Happy Birthday RISA!🤗
Is there a tinted moisturizer you recommend? When I go on vacation I don’t want full foundation..
Hi Risa absolutely agree with the makeup by mario 100% I was so sad to be disappointed it went back immediately- it was that bad and I don't usually return either.
Thank god for great honest youtubers over 40 like you!
I returned Mario’s as fast as I could!!
Love the pony tail. Idk what makes it so different than any other one, just looks more classy.
I think the revlon looks beautiful on you!!
I like the description box was in same order as video. The Lancome sounds interesting. I'd probably try something a little less $. I have oily combination skin. I'm just using a NARS powder right now. Liquid foundations make my pores/texture look worse. Might get sample of the Lancome though. Ty. 🤗😚
I love the Revlon. Works good on my 46 year old skin.
I love the Revlon foundation. I am 57 and dryer as I get older. It works really well on me and I love the price!
Thank you! Yes, I will be picking up the new Maybelline skin tint, and possibly use it in this month’s testing hot new makeup video.
When the KVD first launched I was In Sephora planning on buying the foundation..
Funny that the sales girl actually talked me out of it…. She did not think it was good for mature skin. She’s probably right, because I have to be so careful with Estee Lauder double wear or else I will look cakey, dry and ready to lay in a casket.😮
Then, was looking at the Haus Labs that just launched, and she talked me out of that one as well…
She sold me di Giorgio Armani luminous silk, which is a beautiful foundation… I do love it, but I was looking for full full coverage, and Armani gives you a really good coverage, but not completely full..
I should’ve got the samples and made my own choice…
Right now I have a little color on my face, but when that goes away, I’ll head back and get the KVD.. I know I can return it if it doesn’t work, but I am not want to ever return makeup… plus Sephora is around a 25 minute drive for me and I’m too lazy to return to be quite honest..😂
Thank you for the reviews
What do you recommend for scars? I never wore makeup, but recently had a spot basal cell carcinoma removed, which left me with a scar from my nose to my lip and down my cheek a little. I’m very self conscious, so am shopping for a good foundation (typically oily skin). Thank you.
I wish she would answer your question because I would love to see her suggestions as well.
I would love to see your opinion of Yensa foundation. My skin is very similar to how you describe yours and my first reaction was that it is amazing.
Thank you for this video Risa! 😊👍
I would like to see what the foundations that you love looked like. I’ve considered KVD good apple. But now I’m not sure haha it sounds a bit intense.
I love Makeup by Mario, the foundation is amazing in me, my skin is dry no texture, thanks 😊
Love your pretty manicure and shorter nails!!
I always look out for your recommendations as someone who is going on 47 with still VERY oily acne prone skin. It's so frustrating because I want long-lasting coverage but not something that's cakey or too age appropriate that it slides off in an hour.
I have combo skin and I loooved the Laura Mercier foundation, so smooth and lasting on my 12 hr work days✨
Thanks for the overview. I have normal to dry when I’m home in Utah, but normal to dry when spending time in the Gulf coast of the US. I for sure change my foundation based on location. I’ll have to drag out my EL double wear for travel (which I failed to do this trip).
Hi Risa! Can you tell me your shade in the Lancome foundation please? Thank you!
Good morning from Paris, I am new on your channel, and I have been watching your videos since 3 days. I learned some things that I had the wrong information but mostly what I appreciate is your frank and honest speaking. Thank you for being you. Change nothing if you allow me to say so.
Thank you so much! I was in Paris for the first time in January. I can’t wait to go back!!!
Risa help! I love your suggestions in the video and always love your content. I turn 50 in November and have normal to dry skin in the winter months. I live in very dry climate. I currently use Nars light reflecting foundation and I do like it but have found it to be a bit drying what might you recommend I try. Thanks
I'm 53 with excessive oily skin and I live in East Texas. I bet I could wear the KVD as it is!
I'm glad to hear your opinion! I'm just a wee bit older than you, and half way between Houston and San Antonio, just south of I-10. 👍😉. (you've never heard of my small town unless you're a champion domino player 😆)

Yes, ma'am! Also known as the "Middle of Nowhere". 😆
I am obsessed with foundation!!
I love these foundation review videos!!!
