My thing is that I want earphones that also protect my hearing for doing things mowing the lawn or airplane trips. I actually got custom molded earplugs and I was planning to go back and buy the molded earphones too but the issue was that the plugs quit working after a couple of weeks. One ear didn't seal very right anymore. I have the same issue with any earbud headphones, they always fall out no matter how hard I try to jam them in my ears. I do still have some success with regular earplugs though, both the ones you get at Home Depot or the musician reusable ones that you can get at music stores. So what I am wondering is if the bone conduction headphones can be used while wearing earplugs. I would think "yes" but there may be something I haven't thought of.

Yes! They strangely work better that way and even come with earplugs :)

The Aftershokz were created for runners so is that it can be safe to be outdoors and gear traffic etc. Sound quality is ok. Take a little time to get comfortable but not to be dismissed without trying them. (Work for cycling too)
