That's because he will eventually be worth 10 million dollars and probably isn't far from it at all. After 1-2 million dollars I feel like diminishing returns set in, in terms of how much money can actually add to your life.

This is why I'm a huge fan of CBUM! The guy is 2X Mr Olympia, has the best classic physique and can live the most flashiest life if he wanted, but he is so chilled and humble AF and content with the basic things in life - Good health, riding his bicycle, playing PS games, eating home made tacos with his gf and Calvin and valuing his family🙌

Love how human Chris is. I always thought bodybuilders literally eat sleep and workout and they become so huge that they just become like a monster or alien lol, but seeing Chris chase his dog, play with the tire pump, and play COD, makes him so relatable in terms that he's still just a guy who's just 3 times as big as your average Joe.

Related to the steroid question,I've been lifting for almost 10 years and I would still not want to take any even though I look pretty much the same for the last 4-5 years,kids nowadays lift for a week and then want to start taking steroids,peds,sarms and other things
Agreed! Some kids end goal is to have abs and a decent chest, never compete or anything and they want to take gear at 18 to get there quicker
@@ChrisBumstead most of them start taking gear because they want to be a big guy like you,Arnold,my dream physiques when I started lifting at 18 were Jason Statham and Bruce Lee,much smaller and achievable physiques
The goal should be to be to push your body physically, not 'cut corners'. Body build with integrity builds character and makes you respect the lifestyle in the kitchen as much as in the gym. Using PEDs of any kind taints that integrity. And people in the gym, online, and anywhere else in the world need to regain that sort of integrity.
@@NA-bn9er I wouldn't say steroids taint integrity, its cutting corners if you have only lifted a year or two. Your FIRST cycle of steroids after two years of natural lifting you could probably achieve naturally eventually with more time.
So in that sense it is completely cutting corners and cheating yourself. However If you have been lifting for 10+ years naturally and want some kind of boost to see progress again and are happy to risk your health to some degree then I don't see any issues with taking stuff.
Some guys on gear even argue that they are the ones who are "really serious" about bodybuilding because they went to the extent of taking something to be the best them they could be. Chris himself would be a hypocrite to say never take anything when he has, but he's not, all he is saying is don't take stuff young.

Best thing I've found for recovery is a rest day of good sleep, a full body mobility/flexibility routine, and a 5 mile brisk walk. Honestly nothing better. Active rest days are so much better than doing absolutely nothing.

14:20 I agree but I think this could help him: If you achieve a routine it isn't all about the results that motivate you, it motivates you when your track you nutrition and see that you are on track. It motivates you that you did 1 rep or 1kg more than last time. And most importantly it motivates you when you get a pump. Bodybuilding is filled with little milestones and small achievments every day (and for beginners even more). If you JUST care about getting the result but dislike to invest the time to build a routine this isn't the right sport for you. If the process filles you with passion and happiness than the goal is worth much more. This is a feeling you cant buy because that feeling is internal and requires you to get your ass up because you will be proud of yourself that you did all of that. You can trick others but not yourself.
