As a Jamaican, I love Jamaican curry chicken but I also adore a good Trini curry chicken. You can know this is good by how the sauce coats the chicken.
Admire u guys taking the time to bring our food our culture at an international level, the world can get a taste of what our country has to offer through food , 🇹🇹
This took my curry to another level. Not sure if it’s the garam massala that took it up a notch but I always felt like something was missing when I made curry chicken . I made this and couldn’t believe I made it! Love the hosts! They have great chemistry.
Thank you for this video! Almost done cooking it. Made some white rice to go with it. My daughter was jumping for joy and shocked I'm making this 😂. I'm Guatemalan but love trini food 💕
I so appreciate you guys for sharing all your traditional recipes. When my mom passed she took all of those recipes with her. Thank you for helping me maintain all of my traditional Trinidadian heritage😄😄😄

you not burning the curry you fry it, that was never a thing? im genuinely asking. how i do it i turn it to a paste and cook it in the oil and aromatics/seasoning
Wow! this was perfectly made with so much love and passion. I graduated from UWI St. Augustine 2017. During my stay, my flat mates and I would go buy curry chicken and buss up shot from Hosein's Roti shop Tunapuna (best spot ever!) like every week. I enjoyed every bit of it and thanks to you guys I'm inspired to try this recipe on my own.
Sylvia you wouldn't believe this, I had curry chicken, dhalpuri, channa, and curry mango at Hosein roti shop in Tunapuna today , Saturday 17 th October.
Hi, I tried your exact recipe for this curry chicken for my boyfriend (who's not Trini️ 🇹🇹) and it was delicious! The blend of curry toasting in the pot made it extra tasty, as opposed to adding the spices together with the water. Great food, proud to be a Trini! Keep on bubblin'!
