Indeed! Well said,@ NASCAR Fantasy Advice! Thanks. The piano player have used to work with some of the greatest legends; like Rod Stewart, David Bowie and etc... but as you can see he was really awe with George gifted talent and how brilliant his voice was. George Michael was irreplaceable.
He was was rarely regarded as the excellent jazz vocalist (and, arranger) that he was. He really could it all.... I am surprised he was fine here with the piano being as pronounced as it was but this was not his usual pianist. I think it overpowered some of George's vocals on this tune. I do love how he arranged this song for this tour, it is really so poignant - even more so given what happened on this tour. I so miss this man 💔
