I professionally edit TV shows for a living and I must say...your editing and attention to detail is *chefs kiss*. Appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. You do what you do WELL. Keep it up. Thanks!
Love your Videos, they're always so helpful. I've been to Florida countless times now, but it still helps to watch, at least for someone else's point of view
Thank you so much for these videos! They are so well done and as a TA , vlogger, and longtime Universal fan I agree wholeheartedly with your selections! Bravo.
For the first time . I have never eaten in any of the top 5 you have reviewed . That’s mainly due to eating elsewhere in city walk . Great vid as usual . Great content . Nice review . Top job as usual Dax 🤝
I was so disappointed when Boulangerie closed, but The Today Cafe has actually been a welcome addition to the Park. It's good to get a great quick service option that also caters well for dietary requirements 👏
I always love your videos. We love Central Park Crepes and the prices are very good for a filling meal on the go. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at the Today Cafe. We tried Lombards recently and the food was great. The prices seemed typical for the type of foods they offered. We've not tried the full service restaurants in the Wizarding World yet but we need to. It's always so popular so the wait times are massive any time we've tried. Finnegans is one we've talked about trying but I think I'd only want fish n chips so I'm not sure that excites me a tremendous amount? We need to try it though.
Great video as always JJ, will give Finnengans a go on next visit. Leaky Cauldron was great when I visited at Christmas especially the theming, not quite sure on the “British” fare though there or 3 Broomsticks 🤣 as you say a must visit at least once.
Very helpful. We want to try Leaky Cauldron, but my special needs adult son won't eat anything there except fries. I think we will try Finnegans instead and get butter beer at Leaky Cauldron. Either way, sounds like great food with interesting atmosphere.
Just wanted to drop in and say how much I enjoy your videos. I am also a theme park vlogger and don’t usually sit through other central Florida vloggers video because I don’t want mine to be directly influenced by theirs. Your videos are so well done and so professional. Your editing is so crisp. I am self taught and continue to evolve with my editing skill but hope to one day be as good as you. Keep up the good work. Also if you ever need a collab, let me know. We could do drinking around the theme parks lol
Thank you for that, much appreciated. Just watched a couple of your vlogs, really impressed! You seem to be a good all rounder; very natural on camera and great editing. I do struggle with vlogging to be honest, not one of my strengths 🙈 Wish I could be in Florida more often 😢
@@TheFrugalBrit Being on camera was very hard initially. Now I just pretend like I am talking to a group of friends and it makes it easier. My problem is I say ummm all the time so I have to edit most out. That is a work in progress to improve that portion. Thank you for the compliments. Hit me up when you come in town or if you ever need any B roll. I’m always in the parks and would be more than happy to help if you ever need anything.
Yeah you seem to have it figured out to be honest! I like that transition you use where the clips sort of just merge together smoothly. I’m likely going to be in the market for buying b roll footage in the future, so I’ll be sure to get in touch to see if you’re interested later down the line. When I’m in Florida I never have enough time to get all the stuff I need 🙈.
I was quite underwhelmed by the food available in Universal Studios itself…I would guess Today Cafe was having a bad day the one time we were there, I guess, since pretty much all of our food was disappointing and quite poorly made…Monsters Cafe was worse…Islands of Adventure tends to have somewhat better food choices….Although, I honestly had no idea Finnegan’s even Existed! You were accurate that it sort of blends in with the facades around it (either that or we’ve never wandered over that way any of the four times we’ve been in the park over the decades..)
Not bad considering we can be quite inconsistent with it in the UK. The ‘chips’ though are different in the UK at a proper ‘chippy’, as they’re not very crispy.
Always love your videos. But I have a very random question. Are you also a Virgin Atlantic pilot? Only asking as our pilot on the way home to Manchester sounded just like you 😊
The Three Broomsticks isn't supposed to be British fair, so it makes sense it didn't feel truly authentic if that's what you expected. I'm 95% certain it's Irish based, but it might be Scottish. It's been years since I was told.
@@elainegilchrist8991 You skipped over that whole "95% certain it's Irish" bit didn't you? Irish food is usually considered to be separate from British since only half of the country is part of the UK and none of it is part of Great Britain. There's a lot of crossover, but they're still different enough to seem "off" if you're expecting one vs the other.
@@lindseysharon259 the reason I focused on Scotland is that's where the Three Broomsticks is supposed to be located. As a Scot I can safely say that the food is in no way authentic.
@@elainegilchrist8991 so you could have just corrected me and said “It’s located in Scotland,” instead of expecting me to read your mind, while you ignored that my comment on authenticity was based on making sense IF IT WAS IRISH.
I love universal and orlando in general. But the park food sucks imo. I like the bbq place at Busch Gardens but I'd like to see an improvement generally speaking.
@@elainegilchrist8991 hi Elaine, I haven’t taken anything down, not sure what’s happened here. Did you share a link or something? Sometimes RUclips will annoyingly delete comments if they involve sharing links or sharing contact details (none of which bother me).

Wow! I couldn't disagree with your ratings more! Its like you picked it out of a pamphlet! What about Big Fire and Vivo Italian? Absolutely better than anyone listed on your list! Not to mention, the excellent restaurants that are available at the Universal Hotels! Mama Dellas located at Portofino Resort is easily the best restaurant on Universal property!

Agree, Love the editing and graphics on these videos.
Today cafe made a very stressful morning otherwise less stressful and chaotic. Their layout and overall vibe really made our morning 🥹
Brilliant! Another super informative video. Keep them coming

Awesome video as always. Love your channel. Keep em coming!

I'd love to try Lombards and now that I know that you can get a chicken burger for $16....
Added to list.
Brilliant again mate 👏
Cheers mate! The way these prices are going might have to be a chicken burger with tap water next trip 🤪

Thank you, hope you have a great trip 👍😁
Consistently the best videos on RUclips when it comes to Orlando theme parks!
Amazing, thank you! 😁😁👍
Damn, thought today cafe would be held in higher regard. Finnegans it is, on our Studios day. Great advice again.👍
Thank you Aaron! Yeah Monster Cafe number 6 😉
@@TheFrugalBrit today cafe was on the list for September, but it is just a sandwich. Finnegans is a better option. And I can get a pint in there.

We liked the Leaky Cauldron. Very quick service and the theming is great. However, adult portion sizes were barely any bigger than the kids options!
