This is my problem with Stone Island now, even at supposedly sale prices they are just as expensive as what we were paying not so long ago!
It’s like they’ve bumped the price up so they continue to make massive profits even during the sales while continuing to manufacture in shady places!!
Unless I can find Stone Island items at remarkably low prices, from reputable stores then I’m refusing to be ripped off anymore.
Do yourself a favor and stop being these "luxury" clothes. If the clothes isn't made in the exact same country that the company recides then it is a total rip off. These luxury clothes never got me a job offer or rich and powerful friends so what exactly is the point of wearing/buying it? It certainly doesn't feel any more comfortable than something out of Goodwill.
Proper people (football hooligans 😂) stopped wearing Stone Island YEARS ago. Now you see mums on the school run and crackheads wearing it. 💀
I’ve went full Arc’teryx this year: fully waterproof and built to withstand extreme elements. Spent about 8k on SI jackets in my lifetime and most where soaked after longer periods of rain 😅
That's because the Insulanted jackets are labelled as water resistant rather than waterproof.
I’ve really notes of the tech sector for outwear good products for much better prices imo

@@EduardSLVRU can you even read? I’ve spent 8k on jackets, it’s plural. My point is, I’m done with spending 1k on jackets with less functionalities. I def knew what I was buying. I’ve been into SI ever since the 90’s, during the high days of hooliganism and when I roamed the streets with my football firm.
Decided to go with Arcteryx, beta AR for the rain and cerium hoody for when it’s cold and both can be layered for maximum warmth and protection. Way better than Moncler/goose etc if you’re looking for proper functionality
Stone islands quality has slowly gone worse over the years, after moncker purchased the company the quality got worse.
I prefer Cp and Paul and Shark two brands which dont drop their quality.
i treated myself to a fjallraven expedition down coat for crimbo. lovely coat, was £750 an to me thats expensive but compared to that stone island jacket i got a bargain ha
Quality started going downhill in the mid 2000's with jackets peeling and falling to bits after a few wears when they were making jackets like the prismatica, Liquid Silk, Reverse Colour process etc I stopped buying then and only bought certain pieces like the David TC I've never had any issues with those apart from the price they are at now I've got a 2017 David TC which retailed at just under a bag back then they now want almost £2500 for a David TC that looks almost identical to the 2017 model I tend to buy Belstaff or Paul & Shark now you can't fault P&S for knitwear they'll last you for years providing you look after them I've got knits and jackets over 10-year-old that still look as good as when I first bought them Stone Island's just not worth the price tag now. You're better off buying the Vintage peices that have stood the test of time.
What was the fit like on the jacket?
Since Moncler bought stone island the quality has gone right down the pan and the prices have gone through the roof…iv bin buying it since 1989 and iv gone right off it now ..
I love the brand love cp to but it’s just not worth the money anymore. Plenty of other brands out there for half the retail price

That jacket dont suit you bro the shape is all off - cant believe the quality on that! Not good at all!! The price has gone up and in some the cases the quality has gone down... Not all cases but ... Also I hear you regarding the customer service - There are some good folk there that are cool but im not a fan of certain persons there... too much self importance!! And this is why a lot of people buy second hand, because all of this new gear is complete garbage, quality is getting worst each year as the prices are getting higher, especially with stone island and moncler

SI was the real deal early 2000’s when it was all made in Italy. The quality these days is crap because kids buy it regardless…get the badge in innit.

I remember the days when Stone Island would never be in the sale. It has gone massively downhill in recent years and I think it's because things like Klarna has made it more accessible. It has also now available in so many more places so that feel of exclusivity has gone. I can walk in to my local Sports Direct / USC and pick up Stone Island now. It's in amongst the Lonsdale and Adidas trackies lol.

Hello. I stumbled upon a couple of shady online shops which have horrible rewievs and deceive the customers with some tricky schemes. For example send the wrong item but almost impossible to send it back or get a refund or send the item to the wrong address and it's some cheap bullock etc. Have you ever had such an experience?

for this amont of price, i except at least, all products made in Italy ..

The whole point of SI was that you can remove the branding so you don't look like a fake roadman. The quality of the real pieces stood for itself. Now it's just mini moncler and all about branding and shite quality

That jacket didn't look good value even at half price without defects. Designers are taking the mickey regarding quality and prices. They rely on brand junkies to buy any trash they release. Long term poor quality will damage sales and brand reputation.

Quality is getting worse and the prices are going right up, People will start voting with their wallets and move to clothes that are better quality and cheaper.
STOP BUYING FROM LUXURY BRANDS and you won't have these problems. No jacket is worth $1200, after $600 you're paying for the name, these overpriced clothes won't get you a job offer, powerful friends or entry into special events, just stop clowning.
