Another excellent suggestion Brian for hitting the ball with driver! I was using a longer tee in order to accommodate the larger driver heads and then decided to use a shorter tee for a better ball flight. After viewing this video, I think I will go back to a longer tee and make a height adjustment with it to get the 1/2 ball coverage. Also, my upper body has a tendency at times to come in too flat which produces very low trajectory type drives. Corrections are forthcoming! Well Done Brian!

I do find myself hitting the ground a few times a round with the driver - get away with it at the moment as the ground is firm, not so lucky in the winter. I don't tend to sky it, but guess this might still help me, so will give it a go. What's your opinion on the pink castle tees for driving? I've been using them lately so I don't have to think about tee height. Cheers!

      Hi Adi.
The shot you describe is what we call a drop kick here in Aus.
The bread board is a great cure for that as well.
I have never seen a pink version of that tee Adi.
We have red, orange, white, blue and yellow.
I think they are great for consistency as you say. You just need half the ball above the crown of the club.

When I was a teenager (well over 30 years ago!) ... I used to sky the ball a bit, dropping way under the ball (very lateral swing even for a single digit handicap)... my old Taylor Made Burner Plus had a few scuff marks on the TOP of the head! Glad I don't do that any more. This will help make sure!

In the old days of wooden drivers these scuff marks had the nickname of "GT Stripes".
      Thanks for sharing Dean!

@@fitzygolfpro I didn't know that nickname!! But yes, my old Persimmon driver had a few of those at times ... thankfully we had a nice older bloke at our club who would paint and re-lacquer those clubs (and sand-blast the irons) into something that looked like it just came out of the shop again! Ready for the next set of stripes :)

      Those were the days.
That was a major part of my job as a Trainee Golf Professional back in the early 80's. Refitting and replacing inlays, replacing the binding on the woods. Putting pins in irons after re shafting them.
They are all lost arts these days.
      Thanks for the memories.
