I made a cookie slab coffee table with a turquoise epoxy waterfall for my friends Sandra and Sven. Unfortunately I didn't know which lumber this is. Later I learned it appears to be Mahogany.

Eine "Arbeit" zuerst und übrigens sehr elegant. Glückwunsch Javi.
Un "trabajito" de primera y muy elegante por cierto. Felicitaciones Javi...........///////
Sir I'm Amazed at your craftsmanship, do you offer internships? I want to learn from you. I'm a furniture designer myself.
Hi Mohsin. Oh wow, I feel flattered and honored about your question. Unfortunately, this is only my hobby and everything I have learned I learned from RUclips. So I can’t offer you an internship I fear...
@@Woodensoul No Worries, I still accept you as my Virtual teacher 😜
Deal 😆
What would you charge for a round live edge slab similar to this. I'm curious because I have a project that is coming up that will be about the same size and thickness only out of hard maple. I don't want to overpice it but I also want to be paid for my workmanship.
Thanks by the way your project came out beautiful.
Hey. I never charge anything for my projects, so I might not be the best person to ask. If I ballpark it, I would say probably around 1000$? The legs are around 200, a slab of the size costs also about 200, then other materials such as epoxy, the coating, sanding paper etc another 100$. It might take you around 8-10h time to do it, and 50 bucks per hour sounds reasonable. Please bear in mind that I live in Switzerland (high price country). My numbers might scew on the upper end of the scale...
@@Woodensoul Thanks for the prompt reply and a break down for each cost. The price you said seems reasonable enough not to high or to low. I will probably have a little bit more than that in it because I will also be milling the rounds with an Alaskan chainsaw mill.
Once again if I didn't mention it the first time beautifully designed piece from start to finish. Keep up with the quality woodwork.

Thanks, appreciate. Wow, an alaskan chainsaw mill - pretty rad! I never used one. I wish you tons of fun!
nice job
Thanks
What kind of tape was used here?!
Here is the tape I recommend using nowadays: amzn.to/3bOuvCu - the tape used in this video was another one, which is three times more expensive, but not really better
