    Back when all this happening girls got married at 15 and 16. I knew girls who got married young. Older guys date young girls. Anita said that Gladys warned him about having relationships with girls and having a baby without marriage. It was a different time. Sone fathers thought if their daughter wasn’t married before 18 they thought they were old spinsters. I marred at 18. My husband was 19. High school sweethearts. We were married for 37 yrs till his death.

    Priscilla has always said that their relationship wasn't consummated until their wedding night. Only Elvis and Priscilla know the truth. Some of these videos/ interviews about Elvis seem to be about bashing him. And whatever Elvis did that does not seem right to people, he's already been judged. The beauty of Elvis and Priscilla's relationship/marriage is that they had a beautiful daughter, Lisa Marie (RIP). And Lisa Marie had four beautiful children that she loved (RIP Benjamin). And fortunately, three of them are still with us carrying on Elvis's legacy. So it is what it is. ELVIS FOREVER 👑❤️👑

    Lamar Fike was the butt of every kind of joke Elvis could throw his way. Elvis once asked Lamar what he did for him, what his job was and Lamar stated "I don't know". Lamar can be seen on film and in pictures being degraded, for instance giving Elvis a piggyback on stage, having water thrown over him, joking about his weight and so on. I think for a while Lamar went on a "revenge" spree to pay Elvis back for all the years he suffered these kinds of indignities. In all of these kinds of interviews Lamar bigs himself up and yet the day Elvis Presley passed away Lamar was in Tom Parker's office working for Parker - and yet Lamar put out the word that Joe Esposito was the snitch for Parker in regards to what Elvis did on a day to day basis.
    Lamar, Sonny, Lacker, Red and the others had easy days before Joe Esposito arrived on the scene. None of them had been assigned jobs they just lived it up on Elvis's Money. From a business sense Elvis Presley was bleeding money all over the place, until Joe arrived on the scene and got receipts for everything, assigned jobs so Vernon could claim on taxes and so on and so on. Joe being assigned Foreman immediately put Marty Lacker's nose out of joint. You can smell the bullsh*t a mile off... Elvis Presley was a human being with warts and all, but some of the sh*t these so called friends try to dump on him beggars belief how they could ever have called themselves friends of Elvis.

      I mostly agree, although I don't mind Larry. He may have embellished some of his stories, but Elvis was interested in religion and spirituality and liked speaking with him about books he was reading. The MM guys and Priscilla were not interested and were jealous of how much time Elvis and Larry spent together. They wanted Elvis to give all his attention to them. Members of the MM have often told contradicting stories and spread some not necessarily true nasty remarks about Elvis. I have never heard Larry say anything nasty about Elvis, he always talks respectfully!

      @@brendadonner9545The "bone cancer" story, for one. Making Col. Parker out to be heartless, for another. Much of what he says about Elvis' thoughts & future plans is contradictory to what more credible intimates have said. If you read everything you can about Elvis, & listen to as many RUclips interviews with those close to Elvis and the Col., it begins to come pretty clear who's embellishing or who just got a skewed impression. The main thing to keep in mind about the Col., is that his relationship with Elvis' employees & band members - anyone who was in a business relationship with him - was that of The Enforcer, the intimidating tough guy who was to be feared. He cultivated & maintained that facade. To those who were actually close to the Col., however, who saw past that facade, he was a wonderful, sincere, generous, humble & loving man, whose energy was focused on doing everything he could do FOR ELVIS. He played a necessary role by being that tough, intimidating Enforcer, because Elvis was so kind & had a hard time saying no to anyone. Geller was distrusted & certainly unliked by the Col. (& many of Elvis' associates), so he was bound to see only the ferocious side of the Col.. Geller, overall, comes across as being a self-serving, wanna-be spokesman for Elvis, who likes to elevate himself by posing as someone who knew Elvis better than others.

    The way, Lamar Fike, talks about Priscilla is sort of guarded. I think it's because when Elvis first met Priscilla, she was just a child, a girl of only 14. I think the relationship was something that deeply concerned Lamar and other members of the Memphis Mafia. Elvis was known for loving women and being with women. But the truth of Elvis's association with Priscilla was something unsettling for all those who worked for Elvis. The terrifying truth about Elvis and Priscilla's relationship was that it had the quality of being forbidden in a sense, and that was because, Priscilla was underage when she and Elvis first met and started to get to know each other. According to Lamar, Priscilla did spend time with Elvis in his bedroom, when she was staying at Graceland. I do think that she and Elvis were having other forms of sex, but not sexual intercourse, the intercourse probably happened when Priscilla was older say 18 or 19. However, sex is sex, and they were still doing sex to pleasure each other mutually. Priscilla also, did do drugs with Elvis too, from what has been said about their relationship. Elvis didn't want to marry Priscilla, but had no choice, as he was pressured into it by Priscilla's stepfather and Colonel Parker. I don't think Priscilla was in love with Elvis, like a grown woman would be in love with a special man, I think her feelings were more along the lines of a strong crush and hero worship. It wasn't long after Elvis and Priscilla were married, that their association started to fall apart, and it was due to faults on both Elvis and Priscilla's part. Elvis, for one thing, didn't want to be married and he cheated on Priscilla. Priscilla started to cheat on him too, and before long, they both were engaging in adultery. Priscilla also, had hidden ambitions of her own, and these ambitions are part of what made her decide to leave Elvis in 1972. She also, had another man on Elvis, whom she was having an affair with. Priscilla didn't only have dreams to become someone on her own and experience the world personally. She wanted to live with Mike Stone, who was her new lover, and the man replacing Elvis in her life. Elvis divorced Priscilla in 1973 and never married again. I don't think marriage was for him. It is why he never remarried after his breakup from Priscilla. I just think Elvis never met his true love, in his lifetime, and if he would've had a one true love. She would've been with him. She wouldn't have left him. For this reason, Priscilla cannot call herself, Elvis's true love. They both were polar opposites and had different needs. They didn't love each other unconditionally. Priscilla wanted Elvis all to herself, after she married him, and when she realized she couldn't possess him this way. Nor would she ever have him all to herself. She started to seek out getting love somewhere else. Elvis and Priscilla were once in love with each other, but they didn't love each other enough to stay together, or to fight to keep their marriage together. Therefore, Priscilla was just one of Elvis's loves in his life, she cannot say she was Elvis's one true love and that he was the same to her. They were just wrong loves to each other. She was the only woman, Elvis did marry, and would ever marry. Nonetheless, had he lived, he may've found someone to call his new wife and soul mate. He never did this, because unfortunately, he died.

    Lamar says that Elvis didn't like women of his own age. That's a lie. Dixie Locke, Barbara Hearn, June Juanico, Anita Wood and Ann-Margret Olssen were all about the same age as Elvis. I don't know about Joyce Bova, Barbara Leigh, Sheila Caan, Diana Goodman, Linda Thompson and Mindy Miller but they sure were not underage when they had a relationship with Elvis Presley. Ginger Alden was 20, young, but not underage. Maybe Lamar Fike should inform us about all the underage Elvis' fans he had on his lap (or worse) when fans were allowed into Graceland on Fridays and Saturdays. It's clear that Lamar was very afraid to loose his comfortabel life when Elvis would get in trouble because of Priscilla. Priscilla visited Elvis in the U.S.A. when she was 17 and moved into Graceland 2 months before her 18th birthday when Elvis was filming in California. It was not Elvis' idea to discontinue her highschool education in Germany. The Beaulieu-family wanted Priscilla to move to Graceland before she turned 18 so that they would have a means to blackmail Elvis Presley. That leverage was later used to force Elvis to marry Priscilla and getting very lucrative divorce-settlements. Fike is smearing Elvis Presley. Why? To get publicity and/or money? Dixie, Barbara H., June and Anita didn't have intercourse with Elvis. He wanted to wait until marriage and was very afraid of out-of-wedlock children in a time birth-control pills were not yet available. Maybe Priscilla speaks the truth when she says that she didn't have intercourse with Elvis before their marriage. Fike also "forgets" to mention that Priscilla was not the demure innocent virgin Elvis believed she was based on Priscilla's stories. She had not only intercourse with Currie Grant before meeting Elvis but also with several boyfriends after meeting Elvis Presley. Priscilla was rather precocieus.

Most of them had nothing and were nobody without Elvis. They completely depended on him and behaved like competitive children, who were very jealous of each other. They started as Elvis' friends, on an equal level, but became, on a very unequal level, his servants/employees. That must have hurt their self-esteem and after Elvis' death they took revenge by smearing Elvis' image and elevate themselves above Elvis Presley and his presumed negative behaviour. Elvis' real employees, nurse, cook, musicians, are more loyal towards the dead Elvis than his MM-friends, who all claim to have been Elvis' BEST friend. Also the Presley and Smith bloodrelatives are more loyal towards Elvis than the MM-members. It's sad that the men, who, except Parker and the Beaulieu-family, profited the most from Elvis' friendship and limitless generosity, felt justified to sell every information about Elvis' private life, damage Elvis' image and present themselves as morally superior to Elvis. They made Elvis pay for enabling them to live like, mostly useless, parasites.

      Yes, they are both Scientology addicts. Jerry was as much an Elvis' bloodsucker as most of the MM, but Priscilla was worse. Jerry Schilling should have brought Lisa Marie to a hospital after the Golden Globe Awards. She was clearly ill, looked like a ghost and couldn't stand or walk alone. Jerry doesn't tell us he regrets not helping Lisa Marie but tells us that Lisa Marie said: "I love you Jerry Schilling. Jerry is a bit vain and self-congratulating. He is always smooth talking about the "good" guy he pretends to be. Jerry, Elvis' "best friend" was nowhere to be seen in the last year of Elvis' life. I wonder if Jerry was still being paid by Elvis when he died on August 16th, 1977.

    Out of all the women Elvis could get the fact that he went with a child is questionable. It says a lot about Elvis’s maturity that he was uncomfortable around intelligence in his personal life. Ultimately he never overcame the mummy’s boy syndrome in himself. If he could have he would have more than likely gained the maturity to see the error of his ways and would have lived a lot longer.

Thing is he's rich and famous,but when his mother died,he went looking for a replacement,so there he met Priscilla who was all naive and devoted to him and filled that hole. That's why it was so hard for him to recover from the divorce,it was as his mom has died twice. He felt like an abandoned child again.

      He never became a man. He was regressing in age and he was super insecure as a person in every matter and he was insecure about intelligent women because they wouldn’t keep up with his bullshit and would not tolerate it whereas a minor is easily manipulated and controlled. That‘s why Elvis went for young girls because he could mold them and manipulate them. He was a toxic man with a cheating problem. He was a serial cheater and he would have never changed that for any woman. He did have narcissistic traits and definitely bpd.

      If Elvis had such unhealthy attitudes towards women why are they then so glad to have met Elvis and have had a relationship with Elvis? Not one of Elvis known girlfriends ever stated that she regretted to have met and loved Elvis Presley. The kitchen psychology about the relationship between Gladys and Elvis doesn't cut any wood. Elvis' didn't have a pathological relationship with his mother but he had a weak and selfish father, who sold his underage son Elvis to Tom Parker against the will of Gladys, who predicted that Elvis would die at 40 when he was going to work for Parker whom she didn't trust at all.

Coupled with being starstruck, it would not be surprising that they felt lucky to be with him. As they began to mature, these women left, there were certainly others waiting in the wings who were more maliable

    • @jannekedevries2360
      @jannekedevries2360 10 месяцев назад +1

      All over the world men mostly have relationships with younger women. My father was 10 years older than my mother and nobody thought anything about it. On the other hand my paternal grandfather was 2 years younger than my grandmother. I do not think Elvis Presley had an unhealthy attitude towards his mother and his girlfriends. He may have been somewhat old-fashioned, but that's no sin. Priscilla first stalked Currie Grant to get access to Elvis Presley and then stalked Elvis Presley in the U.S.A. without Priscilla Elvis would have stayed with Anita Wood, who was a much better person than Priscilla, who had a negative influence on Elvis' life, because she is a selfish and greedy narcissist, who abused Lisa Marie cognitively (Scientology), emotionally and financially. Elvis' image as the great ladiesman was created to sell his music and his movies. The goal of the publicity was to suggest he had relationships with all his female co-stars, which was just advertizing. Elvis liked women and was liked by them but he was not the big womanizer he was portrayed to be. I don't know of any girlfriends Elvis had, outside Priscilla, after Ann-Margret until 1969. The number of publicly known girlfriends, including Priscilla, Elvis had until his death is not higher than the number of known boyfriends/lovers Priscilla had until 1987 when she turned 42. Maybe Priscilla should talk about her own lovers instead of suggesting that Elvis was a notorieus cheater. Who had the first extramarital affaire? Priscilla in 1968. Elvis' started his affaire with Bova in 1969. Elvis didn't consummate his relationships with Dixie, Barbara H., June and Anita because he considered it proper to wait until marriage. According to Priscilla Elvis didn't have intercourse with her until their marriage in 1967 when Elvis was 32!. That's admirabke but also sad. Elvis once said that image and person are two very different things and that is certainly true of Elvis' image as ruthless womanizer. Elvis was a very sensitive and affectionate man, who liked the company of women but that is not the same as being a ruthless heartbreaker.
