Main reason I ordered it was to stop the jamming but after I polished the feed ramp it stopped jamming. Now I'm just trying to tune for the proper ejection. I dont have a tuneable gas block
Any advice for my situation here.. my punch slipped off that depressed pin and now the pin is stuck in one of the grooves on the scs system. I cannot access the pin to depress it or move the buffer at all..

I'm running a v seven titanium bcg in a pof renegade upper with adjustable gas. Thinking this might be a necessary piece. Will running things in their lightest configuration negatively impact reliability?
It wouldn't impact reliability if the gas is always set right. Most ar type rifles are overgassed from the factory so they'll be reliable with all kinds of ammo. Having light parts won't mess with reliability, but setting the gas to be perfect for one round might make it cycle unreliably with another type of round.
It would most definitely impact performance, on the lightest setting, especially suppressed, the bolt won't stay locked in long enough for the system to operate properly. Although his logic sounds correct, it's not.
It can replace a standard buffer and spring set up. If your trigger works with other mainstream like mil spec buffer sets then it should work with the scs
Awesome video! I have a 16 inch DDM4v7 and it seems to be a bit over gassed and recoils pretty heavy. Do you have any idea what model you would recommend for it?
I saw your question and I would absolutely get a JP gas block or there's some other good ones and the SCS go with the heaviest H2 with the 100lb spring. I can say I have a similar gun and I'm running a Geissele Super 42 braided spring and H2 buffer that I built using tungstons weighes in at 134grams. With the H1 it ejected about an hour off instead of 9 it was ejecting at 10. Upping the weight fixed that. Plus it feels like the bcg doesn't crash home as hard.
@@NeckboneArmory on a regular gas block I have it has no real way to set it for subsonics or supers I have the threads coming out fills the width of a number 1 Allen key. The softer spring is easier to compress, so I can turn the gas down a little more and the gun will still cycle properly. This approach is even better with a lighter buffer and bcg. I was trying to lessen recoil.
If you have a 300blk with suppressed subs, the lightest JP SCS is money, especially with a low backpressure can. The SCS makes a huge difference for sound.
