    Thank you for this unboxing. I ordered mine today and 22LR ammo is available at Academy. Can't wait to get it out to the range.

    Great review.... My 10 year old is about to start shooting. This is definitely an option. Thanks for sharing

      Definitely a great option!
      Might I suggest building or buying something that is a little more “future proof”. I made a series titled “AR Build Series 2.0” wherein I go through the parts needed to build an AR chambered in .22LR. This would also allow him, as he gets older, to also shoot .223/5.56 out of the exact same setup. I built that setup more so for my 8 y/o daughter and she loves it!

    Very nice. I like how the mags have the slides to help loading unlike the CMMG. How do you think it compares to the M&P 22? I know the M&P is basically all polymer but S&W knows what they're doing.

      I will have to agree with you, S&W knows what they are doing. If I had to pick an AR platform that’s dedicated to .22LR, I would pick the M&P15-22 pistol/rifle. The one downside is the weight as compared to a typical AR, the S&W is extremely light so that is something you will have to take into account while training.
      The 3rd party support for accessories and upgrades is huge with the Smith. Faxon makes great barrels and there are others that make handguards. However this too will allow you to use other commonly available parts that the Smith can’t use.
      I know this is probably not the most concerning factor when comparing them and it could be considered minor/insignificant to some people but I throw a Raptor charging handle on every AR I own (with the exception being my Geissele Rifle) and Radian makes a Raptor for the S&W. For that reason alone, I would go for the S&W because I am all about redundancy when it comes to the manual of arms of my rifles.

      And yes, I changed the charging handle on the AR Build Series 2.0 to the Radian. The Strike Industries one was causing problems while charging. It was very good with mitigating the gas from .22LR but the Radian does just as good.

      All aluminum instead of plastic and a actual buffer tube. Nevermind it doesn’t look like a toy like the S&W does. One feels like an actual rifle and one feels like air soft. It’s not even close

    Is it okay to dry fier this tippmann micro elite 22lr pistol or will it damage it

    • @GunBoxTherapy
      @GunBoxTherapy  Год назад +1

      That’s a question for for Tipmann themselves. It’s a typical problem with 22LR guns because the firing pin can, without a round chambered, strike the breach face.

    New to this but can I buy one and own it if I live in California.??? Or no it doesn't meet the qualifications

      Tippmann makes a California compliant magazine the only holds 10rounds. So you can purchase one living in California.
