they would have to re-do gnomer though, it's one of the most boring and overly lengthy instances in classic the escort thing, overly long trash packs between bosses etc, they could re-vamp this and make it much more interesting. Specially with these hidden mechanics like the alarmo-bot thing and the 'safe zone'.

This may have been asked/answered before ... but when Discovery launches ... how do I get it? I've got classic & wotlk, also hardcore. Is it automatic? On Nov 30, there will be a Season of Discovery option in my classic menu on battlenet? I mean will the game be listed in the "Live - Classic" games list along with the other classic versions (hardcore, WotLK)? I can find NO INFO on how to start this game?
I think there are 2 options 1- wow classic will get a small update, and they are gonna simply add SoD servers that you can choose (just like hardcore) 2- There will be a separate version of the game you'll have to download in Battlenet (Personally hope for the first one, that would be 4th version of the game to download 💀)

I had to quit classic Vanilla WoW because i was starting my new career. Then TBC came out, I was 2 weeks late for that because i wasnt paying attention. Then Season of Mastery came out, the same day that I had to go on a 3 day road trip with the boiz. Then WotLK classic came out, the same day that eveeyone at to go back to the office after WFH affer lockdown, practically lost 15 hours on launch + another 4 hours because weekly reset for some reason. Then hardcore WoW classic came out, the same day that i had family come over so again, missed out. And lastly.... The finale. SoD releaaes on 30th of november. The same day I start my new role at a new company after a 6 month break. Looks like ill never exprrience launch and will always be behind.
its part of "discovery" but for example crusader strike for paladins is from lvl 2 quest by paladin trainer. But not all of these spells will be learned via questing what I heared.

Hunters get a Blessing of Kings aura (which is doubled on themselves). Salvation will become available in the next bracket (40 cap), so Horde will most likely get a rune for it at that point. Though, it is a little weird that druids get a WF totem effect early compared to shaman.
The shadow resistance thing is funny there is a bit of SR stuff before SoD at this level but it doesn't go high (+22 for a caster. Warlocktank?). We can add some SoD items and resistance potions. It would be fun really if the last boss is very, very hard and the only solution is really a degenerate min-max of the characters.
Maraudon and Dire Maul should totally, abso-fucking-lutely be raids. Those are two of the greatest (if not the gratest) dungeons ever made and Blizzard should unfold their potential. Tbh I'd love to see every classic dungeon being turned into raid, except gnomer, stockade and maybe deadmines, those places suck
Phase to is when the level cap is raised from 25 to 40. It will still be the same game and you will keep your characters. In p2 a new raid will also be introduced

I'm tempering my hype - especially regarding "discoveries" there's going to be 100 for lvl 25 - I'd say 1/4 of them are going to be in the same location but different depending on which class you are - at least 9 are given at lvl 2 (1 for each class). and they haven't confirmed if your rogue can find the skills of your mage- if not then the last 50 are divided by 9 that's 10-11. 10 things to find in the HUGE areas available to lvl 25. so unless they are holding back on what discoveries CAN BE - what if Rare mobs are suddenly rampant but in remote locations and they can drop gear or resources. unconfirmed so I'm not expecting much more than 10 secrets strewn around idk 20 leveling zones at level 20 or below...
going hard on phase 1 will secure many gear slots until like lvl 50. the weapons are good, the ring is good, the void items are great and won't be replaced until maybe the 40 raid...
@@youbetu18 my point is that - the BiS for 25 will reach you to 50 without upgrades unless you get some from the new content. wether those are the raid or discoveries (like class quests etc.) that's like adding heirlooms = not Classic, right?
I mean its an assumption you are making. next phase to lvl 40 might release gear that replaces your 25 BiS. Or if it doesnt get replaced and you didnt go hard in phase 1 you just farm it at higher level because the lvl 25 raids will be easy to do at lvl 40.... no reason to especially hard in phase 1.

Only problem I see is the fact that they gave hunters blessing of kings for horde and feral druids wind fury for alliance. Horde will have a massive advantage because there will be a ton of hunters. Alliance will not be so lucky because wild strikes (wind fury) requires you to be feral druids, and they have massive energy regen problems and are awful to play so there will be very few compared to hunters.
Yes I'm sure Horde will have a massive advantage in the level 25 raid because of this... Seriously, we will get more runes and there will be changes as needed. And in what few class polls there have been druid has actually been one of the most popular choices

wont it be annoying with only 1 raid ? ( for myself, i like to raid chill and the idea to raid as a group of 10 is really fun to me but the fact that this will be the only raid to do for now make me a bit hesitating since i dont really like to pvp )
There will still be dungeons and other activities from both vanilla and the other new added content (including professions). Should be plenty to do and the raid will just be bonus! But of course I agree it would be even better to have more. My bet is if it takes off and gains traction they will develop more quickly.
Something that kind of bothers me for Season of Discovery is that it seems that they put all of their energy into Ashenvale, but to be honest, when I level, I almost never go to ashenvale. It would have been nice to see Redridge, the Barrens, or stonetalon mountain get some end game attention as well. It sort of reminds me of how Winterspring is an end game zone, but everyone just goes to Eastern Plaguelands or Silithus because that's where the end game is, and you only go to Winterspring when you need something specifically from Winterspring. I had hoped that they would have learned from that, but alas.
Ashenvale is the pvp zone, isn't it? So on the PVE servers it might be good to know. For the pvp crowd, it would be interesting to have different zones be larger scale pvp, so maybe they're testing Ashenvale as it has the association with Warsong Gulch.
It pisses me off that they said there would be no beta test available for sod but there are tons of videos of it and everyone already knows what's coming out. How is this a season of discovery

Silly that the hunter has only one role whereas the other classes now have at least two. Another mail healer is long overdue and hunter runes/pets for healing would have been great.
I mean you can go melee hunter now(maybe) so there is that, healer hunter just seems way too dank, tank hunter(with the pet tanking) makes way more sense to me.

What mob dmg? Most range classes can slow/kite/fear/cc mobs until they dead...so they increase mob dmg (theoretically) but not mob health while they also increase player dmg. Thats simply a range dd buff and a melee nerf.@@BridgeburnerToni

You can probably farm the lvl 25 raid with 5 people in the later phases. So no *need* to go hard on phase one for later times.

It would have been nice to see Redridge, the Barrens, or stonetalon mountain get some end game attention as well. It sort of reminds me of how Winterspring is an end game zone, but everyone just goes to Eastern Plaguelands or Silithus because that's where the end game is, and you only go to Winterspring when you need something specifically from Winterspring. I had hoped that they would have learned from that, but alas.

Ashenvale is the pvp zone, isn't it? So on the PVE servers it might be good to know. For the pvp crowd, it would be interesting to have different zones be larger scale pvp, so maybe they're testing Ashenvale as it has the association with Warsong Gulch.

Silly that the hunter has only one role whereas the other classes now have at least two. Another mail healer is long overdue and hunter runes/pets for healing would have been great.

I mean you can go melee hunter now(maybe) so there is that, healer hunter just seems way too dank, tank hunter(with the pet tanking) makes way more sense to me.

What mob dmg? Most range classes can slow/kite/fear/cc mobs until they dead...so they increase mob dmg (theoretically) but not mob health while they also increase player dmg. Thats simply a range dd buff and a melee nerf.@@BridgeburnerToni

The world is and has always been as difficult as the challenge you pick. You only attack mobs that appear green? Good for you. Maybe try to punch above your level like a normal person now.
