@@MIDERA Oh those follow-up ones are amazing. I keep going back to those as well (a part 1 always calls out to a part 2 name :) ). About to do the analog filter fix on my spectralis 2 this weekend. Definitely has trouble getting to full open as per the sample audio files Joerg posted and will follow Joerg's old video to remove the offending component.
No worries about the length of the video man, people that are interested can stop it and review different parts until they understand. I'm going to spend some time going through it all and I'm sure i'll have some questions and suggestions. You did great work here! 🙏
You can patch up the paintwork with some airfix type model paint. We mixed a few colours up until we got a good match. Mine had a few scratches below the LCD, gone now :)
Thank you so much for the Spectralis videos! I will be watching this several times to let it sink in.....I would be interested in a video about the sequencer....eg 1. if its possible to nudge already recorded notes, 2. to have sequence lines in parallel, but going in different directions...3. creating polyrhythms...Its such a confusing machine - I can enter notes manually into a sequence pressing the step buttons, like in your video, but then if i record note presses while its playing in record mode, i cant find where these recorded notes are.......lots of head scratching.....also what is the best way to make maximum use of the dsynth samples, in order to make it a standalone beatbox? do you create one sf instrument with many one shot samples....also is it possible to do filter sweeps, without having to go into each step and adjust filter manually?
Great suggestions. I THINK I might already have a tutorial on the sequencer lines and going in different directions, but I can always look and see. I’ll see what I can come up with!
I can't remember is there a way to init a song on the device itself? I seem to remember I could but I certainly can't remember how. Love the spec but it does kind of drive me crazy sometimes 😵💫
You’d have to hook it up to a computer and delete the song folders I think, or remove the patterns within the song folders. Then your song is “new”. But no, there’s no way to initialize songs or patterns on the device as far as I’m aware.
Hoping you do a part 2 - every time I watch this I get closer to muscle memory on this amazing machine. So much to learn.
Hey thanks - I actually did a few after this one, but maybe it’s not the right format? I don’t know.

Yeah, I should have named them better!
Good luck on the filter fix. I’ve now done it on 3 units! It’s not too hard to do!

Hey awesome! Let me know what you think and if you have anything you want to see I’ll do my best to do it.

Cool - I'll give it a go if I decide to keep this Spectralis... I'll probably sell it though!

@@MIDERA haha oh, welp my memory certainly failed me.. I suppose doing through the pc isn't so bad.
@@SLRPS it’s not ideal, but it works. Definitely use performance folders if you haven’t yet. It’s great to keep your old tracks and work off new ones.
@@MIDERA ah, I'm on an MK1 so I think performance folders might not work on it.
You’re right :( dang. I really wish that would have been implemented for the MK1 :/
HELLO EVERY ONE, VERY USEFULL VIDEO, ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO CONGRATULATE YOU, ABOUT, THANKS, BEST REGARDS.
Thanks :)
Appreciate your efforts but this video is so confusing....
