Man I'm so glad I found a video with not only audio commentary but also one that shows taking out the HDD. I need to remove it, but for some reason the other vids that showcase taking it apart already removed it.
Thanks for this video, what can be a source of heat that I must clean?, After 30 min of usage is impossible to use the keyboard because is almost burning...
Perhaps it sound like an insult. But I thought the battery should be removed first. Because of a possible short circuit caused by a screwdriver (I have experience).
Perhaps, and mostly we do but classically its common to remove RAM and hard drives without worrying about the battery first. Being careful is #1. Thanks for watching.
OMG. In my case, I actually need to relocate the entire thing on a new palmrest, keyboard AND touchpad included... Any video or recs on how to do that? specially the touchpad; the keyboard I think I can manage.
Can you tell me the green chip when you are unplugging the main rear cable at 14:40. My laptop does not power on, I take it out to clean it but aftet I hear a burning smell coming from the touchpad and the speaker area (laptop is not led, fan is not spinning). I opened it and found the silver chip in the problem green area. Can you tell me if it can be fixed or need to replace the mainboard. Thank you
Is it a big deal if you rip the thermal pads around the GPU? I imagine it's hard to avoid ripping them if you're trying to reapply thermal paste which is what I did.
The keyboard is removable, I just replaced one on a customer's laptop. It takes a lot of patience, but it comes right off. I used a soldering iron on low heat to melt the plastic fasteners off and then I put a new keyboard back on using those same fasteners with glue.
Hi! What sort of glue did you use? I’m about to attempt replacing the keyboard in my ge62vr and I was wondering how to attach it without breaking the laptop :”D
Is the DC jack soldered? I have heard some people say it is and some people say it isn't. Whether or not soldering is necessary will pretty much determine if I save this laptop or just shell out for a new one
Im going to get it this week, i guess Windows is installed on the m2 ssd slot, and i have an ssd from my current notebook with all my stuff, i know the m2 drive is faster and it should be the boot option, do u know how can i clone my ssd to the m2, i did with my old hard drive, but since the windows is installed in the m2 i dnt know if its going to work
You mean transfer your files? If Windows is already installed on the SSD, you just need an adapter to transfer your files to the new laptop, like this www.ebay.com/itm/ELUTENG-USB3-SATA-Adapter-2-5-Inch-SATA-to-USB-3-0-Cable-22-Pin-7-15-HDD-SSD/313290707533?hash=item48f194d24d:g:37YAAOSw8W9fplKZ or for whatever slot your current SSD uses.

Should i use the wrist ban like at your arm?
As long as you remember top round yourself before touching the laptop insides, you should be fine.
@@Sellbrokedotcom how to do the top round?
