I was originally only interested in the overseer experiments for all of the extra bosses to fight, and I’m not really a fan of introducing new creatures in the same tier as the giga. That being said, you’ve absolutely blown me out of the water at this work. The unique design, Garuga-level animations and textures, Fluid animations, the DarkEdgeTvSurvival saddle, an interesting taming method that seems easy to understand but dangerous to perform without being able (?) to lose effectiveness to some random tiny piece of bullshit needed to complete it, A kick ass boss design, and the security of knowing that because it is your work it will play nice with other mods and not screw up the base game. This is the equivalent of a mod cake with many layers to enjoy for years to come. TLDR, your mod is so good it is changing my arc preferences and play style. Thank you for this wonderful gift to the community, and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and an even better New Year to come.
@IVO-Solomon works fine, I guess, as good as you expect ark to run on consoles, definitely playable, just be careful with how many mods you put, the amount of creatures on some maps can kill performance, for example I had like tons of cluster mods (mods that add several creatures), and I decided to play aberration, as soon as I got to the blue zone my fps dropped to like 10, and I noticed I had the whole ground and water filled with modded creatures, my point being, yes it’s very playable, just keep an eye out because it’s definitely its not a perfect experience

It also sore reminds me of like I think dino crisis when they had like the very fleshy zombie looking dinosaurs, it almost looked like the tea rective he had more skin
just tamed this beauty. god i love it, wish its tail attack had bigger hitbox and that its stomp had a deeper rumbling sound at it does stomp attack... but gigas EVO gigas will allways rule supreme! no ark experiment freak dino will replace it.!
Anyone else experiencing a bug on single player where creatures won't breed anymore? I've enabled and disabled it over and over again with no luck whatsoever
So, how do its stats scale? Is it the same as a normal Giga/Carcha? Cause if yes, I kinda wish it would be more balanced similar to Paleo ARK's Evo Giga where it has significantly better scaling to its health in particular

@@TheXAllosaurus unfortunately no, it has the same scaling as the OG giga :( Kinda was hoping for that not being the case as this thing is practically not that good on higher stat value settings which I prefer to play ARK on Hopefully the devs will atleast take some of the criticism and make it on par with the Evo Giga tbh?
I really like Desolatitan, but i feel like its AI should attack ANYTHING on sight, its supposed to be this giant Giga/Carcha rival, as well as an abomination made by the overseer yet it behave like every other big predator, but that's just my opinion, other than that i really like it, it feels powerful, is intimidating and got some nice mechanics, can't wait to face the boss, though when i see the recquirement to face it, i feel like its gonna be REALLY hard
Dinosaur design looks very cool, but I gotta be honest this seems like it's just like Garugas acro. Same moves, same kit. Even the boss fight is similar, and even has spears poking out of it like savage acro. I thought maybe this guy would be a bit more unique with its abilities tbh. Good video though, appreciate showing off it's abilities and taming
This is like the ark giga treatment given to the Rex essentially, as that is what this guy is, a bulky, somewhat paleo accurate looking scary kaiju Rex, so why the gigantic devil horns? Personally I’m not a fan of this feature, I get it is supposed to differentiate it and make it look unique, but, it already does without the horns, the horns look too exaggerated to me, this mod enters a long list of mods with incredible models and animations that have one feature that just looks incredibly off
