One thing I hate is when you say you don't listen to a particular artist (not even in a disrespectful way) and someone will say "Well, you just have horrible taste then." People will really get bent out of shape if you don't listen to their favorite artist, not even just in rap.

Another reason is. I feel like the “that’s your opinion” thing is used because there are some people who state there points like it’s fact and act like what what your saying is wrong when it’s to opinions going against each other
Number 3 is a fact. I don't like it when people try to discredit someone just because they aren't big. Making it in music isn't easy and a lot of times requires more than just talent. If it was so easy, everyone would do it.
I do agree with that third statement. I’m a big fan of Rio da Yung OG and I had a homie say “you ain’t never gonna hear someone say put that Rio on at a party.” Okay just because you don’t hear Rio music at a party don’t mean he don’t make great music and have funny lyrics and have his own wave

The thing I hate is when someone says “well if that album was created by someone else, that would be one of their top albums” like no they wouldn’t because the fact is that it can’t be like that cuz that album can’t be created by anybody else BUT that specific artist.
Completely agree with the last one especially. I can rarely ever listen to an album just once and move on not everything can just hit right away first listen. When carti dropped WLR I strongly disliked it the first or second listen but now it's honestly one of my favorite albums of all time. The quality of music isn't the issue it's just people only wanna listen to an album once and move onto the next thing.
There's nothing wrong with going to next thing. Especially if you found something better. Because the next three listens never do me any favors. I liked WLR first listen. 2nd listen, absolutely hated it
True i feel that same way, I try and give most albums a second or even 3rd chance if it's not to bad, only way I dont is if it's absolutely horrible and like 5-6 songs don't click I usually give up, that's how I feel about WLR, I'm glad people like it tho cuz as much as I hate it there is an audience for it and I will never go out of my way to get you not to listen to it

This is exactly why I be so afraid every time I drop a song. It's hard to keep people interested once they hear the first song and they don't really listen to it. I've been doing this for over 10 years and only within the last 5 or so has it really been getting to this point. It's a fallacy based on popularity, I can think of this in a few examples.
I remember back in 2018 Desiigner released his album Life of Desiigner and it was amazing. However since Panda wasn't on the radio people said they didn't want to listen to it. It's truly crazy.
Back in 2019 / 2020 Baby Keem came out with his album I would play Rockstar P and Orange Soda but nobody cared to listen to it.
I also remember playing Ella Mai and Dua Lipa before they became mainstream in 2017.
Also it's ironic that you bring up Tyler because he talked about that in his interview with Hot 97.

For the first it depends on when it's used.
For example if I'm talking about Jpegmafia and they say he has no talent, then I show that he purposely makes his songs sound the way that they do because he does all the mixing, mastering, beatmaking, writing, and has the songs go a certain way. When I say that and it blows their opinion out the water the water that he's just another a boring rapper, then I have a problem with its just your opinion. It wasn't just my opinion when you thought you had more evidence, some people just can't take an L.
one of the great things about going back an spinning an album after some time. Is that after some personnel growth or experinces a track my hit different or relate differently.you may up end up liking a different song now from when you herd it the first time on the album.

It's all across the internet and every subgenre and every group and every community. People can't debate no more they get caught up in tribalism and group think and wanting to go and cosign whatever they're in group agrees upon and they can't stand on their own enough to form their own opinion and then people take opinions and they tie that to their identity so if you attack an opinion you then are attacking them personally because they're too much of a child to separate an idea or an opinion from who they are at their core.
The whole thing about well this isn't popular and I think this opinion and everybody else thinks it's opinion so that means that the opinion that everybody agrees upon is the right opinion... That right there is the logical fallacy known as argumentum ad Populum. You can see that it's logical fallacy just simply taking that idea and applying it towards anything else and Nazi Germany they were a bunch of people that agreed with Adolf Hitler I'm pretty sure most of us can agree Hitler was not in the right.
And then people want to do argumentum ad hominem... Where they can't form an actual counter argument so they then want to make fun of you and attack your character and your personality because their argument is trash so they want to discredit you and a way of discrediting your argument.
