    That's a brave landing with those conditions on tricycle gear.

      We were worried about it, I walked the runway, a lot of standing water, but there was basically no mud, the runway seems to have a decent gravel base to it. If it was any worse i would have just shuttled them in from the nearby paved airport.

      It’s Fairview Mountain and Gillian’s Knob in Maryland close to where Whitetail Ski Resort is,

      Yes, I hear ya, it’s a balance between making it entertaining (I think) and making it just have the straight footage & document an arrival and landing that we pilots sometimes want. Landing 17 is much preferred here (for the slope) & had I known the winds were blocked so much by the trees I would have landed that direction.
