Man this is really great music hi song about Love each others. The place 700 kilometers from Addis Abba. The place is or the village is jenica one of Ethiopian culture he say it doesn't matter where come from just we are Humans bring.
He is singing from Genesis chapters 2, 4 and 11, in the Bible. He is saying in general: You are my brother b/c our first father is Adam. You are my sister b/c Eve is from my ribs. So, let us get back to love each other. Separation and marginalisation by language or trib came b/c of sin after Babel. We came to this world naked and will die naked. No tribe on earth qualified for heaven. You will be qualified for heaven based on your godly life on earth. For more you can read Genesis chapters 2, 4 and 11, in the Bible.
This song became popular because of the great message: (Ari language, south Ethiopia and few Amharic lyrics in the end) He sings all of us are descendants of Adam and Eve. So we should love each other as brothers and sisters. We are from Earth we return to Earth. Salvation can't come from claiming "I am from this race or I am from this ethnicity" Our deed on Earth is our guarantee for salvation. We should avoid tribalism and racism and love one another regardless of where we are from. Dishtagina is the new year of the Ari people. He is saying let bygones be bygones and receive the new year with new hope and love!
I am from that tribe. The tribe is one of the Southern Ethiopia and the population approximately 500,000. The message is this song love and unity. We have a lot of conflict in the country and he is preaching to stop unrest and dividing each other. Let be together . If you need any translation Aari word I will be ready to explain . Thank you .
Some of the translations for the words you guys managed to pickup in the song: 8:54 *Ariyee* meaning my dearest Ari ( an area where a specific tribe lives ) 8:56 *Agere* meaning my dear country ( probably referring to both Ari and Ethiopia as he was a national soldier before becoming a singer) 9:15 *And Atente* meaning my bone (referring to coming from a common origin. Your Eve and Adam story link was on point ) 9:45 *Yemiasteyke* meaning prosecutable (In this context by God in afterlife referring more specifically hating each other based on ethnicity or race) 9:20 *Yeze Yememelesew* meaning taking back (referring to the fact that we have nothing to take back to the afterlife so no need for too much animosity) Hope some one who knows the *The Ari Language* would add the the more deeper meanings to the list! *etc ... this song touches the soul ... pray for Ethiopia, we need it more than ever.*
I am abraham ,from south Ethiopia and i can speak ari language ,and any body who need translation of dishta gina music i honestly i can do ,Africa live a long
I really appreciate this guy. the message of some portion of his song is that we came to this earth with nothing and we finally will go with nothing ,so we have to love each other
The song talk about unity and love..he said we come from heaven with out anything and back to heaven the same as to come...their is no best race... Where come from the best race we are one and the same...this is the current problems in ethiopia... We fight eachother with the race... He try to solve the problem..love u Guy's!
I am from Ethiopia northern side and Tariku is from southern side. He is a very humble human being. I watched his Ethiopian TV interview it's all about humanity and unity. Ethiopia has 86 language and culture so, the divided and rule colonial era imposed on us tribal hate on each other. This time, we see a light at the end of the tunnel. people in this country are seeing a new direction not for political gain but seeing as human and respect. From village to city, town and country, we all are one as a world!!!
The first person I seen from this generation who doesn't fear saying religion and ethnicity doest matter. Thank you man. I'm from Ethiopia, oromia. I appreciate you b/c I seen something d/t in you.
My fellow Africans this musician wasnot famous but this music is so unique & heartful for us...finally the former soldier becaming our soul king & hitting the whole Ethiopia 🔥🔥🔥 One love for the world !!!
I am amazed by your deep interest in Ethiopian music and for that I applaud you. In my opinion, the song went viral because of the message and the openness of TARIKU about his personal life on live TV interview. Tariku was born and grown up in the rural part of southern Ethiopia. He served in the military and fought a war in the North. Life was challenging for him when he was in the capital Addis Ababa. He worked as a day laborer and was living homeless life in the streets. Lastly, he decided to go back to his place of birth to break from the hustle and bustle of Addis Ababa . But the challenge he faced was that his people disowned him because of his gangster look with the long dread hair. He then went to local church and prayed to GOD to reveal his talent and make him somebody. Now he lives in the jungle as a farmer. He is the father of 5 kids. The meaning of his father's name [Gankisi] is "To break bad habits." He is happy with his life and never complains. He is full of positive energy and exerts this magnetic power in to the crowd with laughter. DISHTA GHINE means New Year in "ARI" language. It is an Afro -Asiatic > Omotic>South language. He begins the song by calling all the months and asking everybody to forgive their wrong doings and hope the New Year to brings happiness. And then he says the following verses in Amharic and translated as follows: Me and Adam( my father) You and Eve (my bone)--he points his index finger towards his ribs[ reference to the Bible]. I can’t stop listening to this music. Great message from such individual. Wow indeed as he was saying God is using him to deliver reality and let us realize what we do as human.
"Babylon dispersed us, and until this day, we lost true love. Nothing to sing, nothing to chant. What's better for us now? What we do on earth is what we answer for. When we stand before Him, race cannot be your righteousness." And the song fades out. Gankisi is a legend.

The singer said we are from Adam and Hewan but we faced a difficulty in this earth that is hate and fight between us. so we should beloved. love for all!
9:44 He says "You will be held accountable for your deeds on Earth. And your race will not salvage you." At 9:59 he says "The sky has no one to clean it or wash it. Look at the sky how clean it is. Woe unto you Earth! For our love is lost."
Yes we need unity , love as well strength , we have been fighting for century but nothing we get rather we have been loosing our beloved once , so African unity is must not obition ....for this Tarikus message is initial for all us. Txs Tariku!
What I like fro this song is that when he says"I came to Earth with out anything and I will leave with out anything so why we are killing and living only to get object we are going with out anything from this world so why"♥️♥️♥️
Really amazing man with a really amazing song. The message of the song is so powerful, we need to get English caption so that people all over the world get the message. Thank you Asali and Mika. for sharing this!!!
This is a type of music that I feel like I am listening to a spiritual song to my soul! It touches not my emotion as other music, but my soul! "The True Nationality is Mankind" Maybe G.Washington said this???? I forgot who! But I love the quote!
I am Ethiopian there is no song which touches me deeply. African unite wake up we have a beautiful continent we have to be proud and unite. Africa is great let us lift up our continent. 👍👍🙏🙏
He needs to be rewarded by all Ethiopian and all African music awards as a best song because of the true message he sent out! Also someone who is a producer should make the 11year old kid that made this song(the artist) famous a star!
We have to wake up!! it's long long time that Bob Marley singing about African, but we are still hate each other. I know behind there is many things but we are not fighting. ✌❤unity🙏
I appreciate that your promotion and willing peace for Africa all. I’m Fasika Abebe from Ethiopia. To explain the core of his song. He is said that Adam is brother Hewan is also my bone We all are came from Adam & Hewan no one is different and kind so love each other Our religion, color, race, nation majority is not seen in front of to get in heaven He also tells love peace It is a work, not a race, righteousness before the Creator
Thank you very much, my mother cantrey Ethiopia, I leve south Florida tomany dacaye, I watch my brother tariku music with my teen child at a minimum 12 time, you gayes love really tanksl from my hert.
We are not fighting each other. There are rebels fighting the government. It has always been the case. There is no time in Ethiopian History that there was no armed groups fighting the state.
Yes, this song is about stop hating each other! God brought us to this world with no race, and Ethnic divisions. Plus, we all are belongs to the creator and no one will stay behind. Also, let's do what matters after our death not for our temporary lives. Specially for the conflict that was/is going on in Ethiopia!!💚💛❤ Since the former TPLFS regime who planted the hates, divisions, genocides among Ethnicities and religious for the last 27 yesrs going on. When they refused to leave the position, even after the nation forgives them to leave peacefully but instead they did create more conflicts and crimes in the country. That is why this music talks about. He is saying, we don't believe on hate and division just let's concord the love in every angle we go. 🙏🙏💚💛❤💙💚💛❤💙
The tribe is one of the Southern Ethiopia and the population approximately 500,000. The message is this song love and unity. We have a lot of conflict in the country and he is preaching to stop unrest and dividing each other. Let be together . If you need any translation Ari word I will be ready to explain . Thank you .
This is an amazing song. This song talks about love among people. Adam wendeme means Adam my brother and in their culture they would refer to each other eAdam wendeme meaning Adam my brother and Hewan my sister meaning Eve my sister. I was listening to his interview and I was blown. I hope all of us Africans get this message and grow our content.💪🏽
THE line which i love he is try to tell look at sky nobody is not going to clean but it is always clear if we live by peace with out race our world also clear like sky
I am from Ethiopia. People loveeeeee this music so much here not just only due to the rhythm but more so due to the deep meaning of the lyrics. The lyrics is in two languages- Ari (language of a small ethnic group in Ethiopia with the same name as the language) and Amharic (The most widely spoken language in Ethiopia). The essence of the song's message is basically "We are all equal no matter what race we belong to, whereever we come from...We are brothers and sisters...Why all this racism in the world then?? ... I came to this world with nothing and will go from this world (after death) with nothing...When (finally) we all stand in front of Him (God) for judgement, it is NOT our race but our good deeds which grant us Heaven...Let us all love one another" Very deep message!
"You may came from there I may came from the other, but what come between us?" "In the face of God our race is not that matter but instead judged by our deeds" "The is no best race we all came from one origin and we are brothers and sisters" Some of the lyrics messages. Sorry for my English.
The song really tells us that "Adam comes from God". And "Eve (Hewan) from my tiny bone". Also he said to us that we have nothing when we came to this damn world, so why we quarrel each other(I mean why we killed to one another!).
thank you Swahili nation for your share of tariku gankisis music. Here also we are proudly enjoyed by his music specially from southern nation nationality of Ethiopia jinka peoples (tarikus home town) near to the northern Kenya.
💚💛❤️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 beautiful message in the song for all humanity and nice beat from wonderful human being. , hear it every day to remind me what it’s important.
Thank you, I am from Ethiopia, really you well explain the message and I love your reaction! This is a Southern Ethiopia Ari tribe song. It's all about unity, love, and peace - we all same with the eyes of God as human beings! Roots Adam & Hewan! Nobody can have heaven b/c of his/her ethnic/ tribal group, but God will judge you with individual personality. We need this song message, especially for African brothers and sisters. Note - The intestine on this video is their culture to show how they predict the future and to indicate the truth. Good job . . keep going !
This Message has a great and important mission for all people on the planet earth which means he says we all people come from the same generation from Adam why we're killing each other other than we love each other's and help each other we all have the same blood we don't need to separate depends on our skin and ethnicity. I hope all people understand the Message of this song in different languages and God bless everyone to live together with love and God will happy with us.
Hello guys, thank you for bringing this song and the issue of race in Africa. As you rightly said, we Africans need to wake up to the misguided rules of racial division among people which led to the exploitation of our resources while we are fighting each other. Although God has given Africa abundant resources, we Africans are not lucky to benefit from them. Imagine the rich resources in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) alone are enough to support the whole of the African continent if there is peace and the resources are fairly used. But who is benefiting from those resources? It is the west and the superpowers, by indirectly fermenting the division among people and keeping us busy. Let us wake up and stand up for each other, support each other, and above all love each other. Thank you guys Ayele
Let me tell you a little bit, because I thought my friends would love it more if I shared the feeling of the music and the idea of the poem. Who is the best seed when we come before the Creator !! Why do we lose love? All are equal, white, black, Asian, Latin, Arabic, all are equal !! Why did we lose love?
Thank you Bro. I am from Ethiopia ... the point you raised is very very very important ... we should stand .... even the singer say we are human beings there is no superior here ... God will not judge us with our race but with our work.
📍We had to react on this song for the second time because there’s no doubt that this is the best song with rich message where all Africans need to hear.

Africa must cooperate and unit together for common wellbeing and prosperity
There is a time for everything for the little boy or Abush and Tariku after the storms there comes sunshine 🧡Salute to the legend

I appreciate that your promotion and willing peace for Africa all. I’m Fasika Abebe from Ethiopia. To explain the core of his song. He is said that
Adam is brother
Hewan is also my bone
We all are came from Adam & Hewan no one is different and kind so love each other
Our religion, color, race, nation majority is not seen in front of to get in heaven
He also tells love peace
It is a work, not a race, righteousness before the Creator

Thank you for bringing such a positive vibe. We Ethiopians are busy fighting each other. It is heart breaking!!
He normally preaches peace be among us!! All African people have to listen to this song and give a positive reaction!!

Thanks to SWAHILIS, for displaying this music to the world.
The tribe is one of the Southern Ethiopia and the population approximately 500,000.
The message is this song love and unity.
We have a lot of conflict in the country and he is preaching to stop unrest and dividing each other.
Let be together .
If you need any translation Ari word I will be ready to explain .
Thank you .
Music is world language and this guy proves it.
I love you Ethiopia people 🇪🇹♥️♥️♥️im🇹🇷🇪🇹
Soo good
"You may came from there I may came from the other, but what come between us?"
"In the face of God our race is not that matter but instead judged by our deeds"
"The is no best race we all came from one origin and we are brothers and sisters"
Some of the lyrics messages. Sorry for my English.
i am from ethiopia this music i love so much must be get prize notify for all africa world
The song really tells us that "Adam comes from God".

እግዚሐብሔር ባንተ ተጠቅሞ መልእክት እያስተላለፈ እንዳለ ይሰማኛል
I love Etiopian music "gestikina"
Thank you, I am from Ethiopia, really you well explain the message and I love your reaction! This is a Southern Ethiopia Ari tribe song. It's all about unity, love, and peace - we all same with the eyes of God as human beings! Roots Adam & Hewan! Nobody can have heaven b/c of his/her ethnic/ tribal group, but God will judge you with individual personality. We need this song message, especially for African brothers and sisters.
Note - The intestine on this video is their culture to show how they predict the future and to indicate the truth. Good job . . keep going !
I love this music thank you 🙏 God bless Ethiopia 🇪🇹❤️❤️

This Message has a great and important mission for all people on the planet earth which means he says we all people come from the same generation from Adam why we're killing each other other than we love each other's and help each other we all have the same blood we don't need to separate depends on our skin and ethnicity. I hope all people understand the Message of this song in different languages and God bless everyone to live together with love and God will happy with us.
One Ethiopia n one bold 🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹
Thank you guys
Ayele
the song condemns racism...it talk about we all are Adam's and Eve's...
One africa love iam ETHIOPIA 🇪🇹 from ETHIOPIA 🇪🇹😍😘
Let me tell you a little bit, because I thought my friends would love it more if I shared the feeling of the music and the idea of the poem. Who is the best seed when we come before the Creator !! Why do we lose love? All are equal, white, black, Asian, Latin, Arabic, all are equal !! Why did we lose love?
Thanks This Time to Sport Ethiopia 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹
