I always have had the worst luck with getting them to match their online price in store. I see they finally are now matching their online price with many restrictions whereas before they would not match at all. I love their curbside pickup as it keeps the grocery list to what is needed and none of the walking thru aisles and being tempted for this or that. This service seems to put a strain on keeping shelves stocked tho as using the store as a store front and an online warehouse causing more demand for products. I wish they would put more day time stockers for their consumable departments because if you go in afternoon, a lot of things are empty because of this higher demand throughout the day.
I saved a TON of money doing curbside pickup for groceries. Not grabbing stuff I don’t need and able to discriminate against what I need versus what I want. I also get to see my checkout cost before paying. Makes it very easy to stay on budget. Buying fresh fruits and veggies can be hit or miss based on who picks it. But still highly recommend curbside pickup! Saves MONEY and TIME!!
Curbside pickup SUCKS for produce! And a lot of foods with short expiration dates (bread, milk, etc). My experience, every time, it’s obvious you get the oldest and least fresh produce. Example… bananas not the ones youd pick given your choice. Avaccados that are terribly green and hard as a rock. Bags of lettuce a day or two from expiring, verses you being able to reach to the back of the cooler and pick the freshest produce by expiration date. It’s fine for paper products, dry goods, etc… but I would never recommend it with certain food items
Curbside has helped & hurt. I’ve noticed item(s) they push (their brand)& then go ( inside) and find the (items I Really Wanted Available)! So frustrating! Maybe a management problem (or) unchecking (substitute) definitely help(s) them not use this (in our area). For families with Severe Allergies I prefer Target curbside
Yeah they push what ever they want onto you. I recommend if you're going inside to try a store like Aldi's for food and avoid the name brands. Walmarts whole thing is to get you to buy things you dont need. They have food sitting in walkways now, and in the check out you actualy cant avoid random things.
They will NOT take a manufacture coupon printed from Kroger 🤦🏼♀️. Even though it says manufacture and I’ve asked why they say it says kroger at the bottom…drives me nuts
Would be great if all Walmarts do what your talking about. Not only will mine not do certain things…we pay more than some other ones because of our location. And I would trust the employees at mine to clean up after my dog let alone pick my food! Not that there is anything to buy cause the shelves are empty!!

I’ve been trying to buy from our local grocery store as apposed to big, global companies. These big corporations don’t have our best interests in mind. When Walmart gained speed across the US, it knocked out many small mom and pop businesses (do you all remember that?). No I’m not a fan of global corporations, they will be the little people’s demise. To bad Dave Ramsey and family don’t feel the same way.
I think this is soooo funny my ex wife was the worst she would buy things we wouldn't use or didn't even want because it was on sale. She couldn't understand that if you don't want it or your not going to use it you don't save money ney buying it you spent money
9 times out of 10 the great value brand is more expensive than the name brand. Also, if you have an actual grocery store in your area, take some time to price check against Walmart. I find that the grocery stores are always cheaper on food than Walmart.
I always do the curb side pickup. It saves me time & I'm not in the store picking up things that I don't really need. $$ saved!

We do Walmart pick up every 2 weeks and use the app with the meal planning list/our main saved items; helps a ton! 👍 highly recommend.

Yeah we got 4 IPads for $400 total!! I pads are normally over $600 a piece

Me too. I think if I went and stuck to the Great Value brand I'd save pretty good. But like you, didn't see any coupons.
