I stopped watching at 1:43 because it was obvious he doesn’t know what he is doing. Biologically, Opossums would venture off even from their bio moms as their biology and brain structure tells them to do so. none domesticated animals do not think of a "mother" or "provider" or "owner" like a domesticated animal such as a dog would. once they are able to go off they will do so willingly.

It was probably out on its own learning to be an adult when he snatched it and tormented it for no reason other than "views". This opossum is perfectly equipped to live in the wild. All he needs to do is let the poor thing go.
One of the observations was that she was very thin. This is because she couldn't was unable to find food for herself. (Ihave a rescue opossum so I am not simply guessing here.)

You could have got a few smaller potted trees, real is much better. They like to chew on wood and stuff like that, plastic won't be good for them. If you water and take care of them they won't die BUT make sure you find out(read up on) how to take care of that tree or plant. Also a little stool or big rock for her to step on getting out of that house as it's high. ** This is a year ago.. Where is she and what happened to her??
She has a wholeass natural environment room to herself. I've seen other people with opossums that can't be released where they're entirely content with a large parrot cage
I think you should talk to a specialist about oposses, you may want to be good and help, but it seems like it's animal cruelty... I think it's not the same opossum, She no longer belongs to the wild. So I can see you're trying to be a friend to the animals and the bees but with the bees you really did not do them any favors along with your possum you're not doing her any favors I would quit taking animals out of nature if I were you when I was younger I did this a lot as well even had a pet beaver but as I got older I realized how wrong it was for me to be taking these animals away from their natural habitat there are places where you can rescue animals like possums there's nothing wrong with finding a hurt animal and rescuing it or just giving it some TLC till it's better and can be released again but to take them away from their habitats where they're free to do what they please it's really sad -i also dont know where you got your possum so i could be just wrong- but also A+ for effort

I want to hear an update about Rocky! Also, opossums have such terrible vision that they're basically blind so noises kind of terrify them until they know what they are. Rustling of bags, scratching, thumping, bumping, certain octaves of noises, etc. ASMR is their worst nightmare unless you're talking really low and almost whispering to them. Their ears and nose are EVERYTHING, so I have learned I have to be quieter when I'm handling them or near their enclosure/area. So this video of you opening the boxes....the crunching, ripping, and plastic rustling is making me cringe into my skin because of how loud it is. Just imagine how loud it is to Rocky whose hearing is way better than mine! Just letting you know. I know you're enthusiastic but she wants quiet and calm more than anything most of the time

Didja unlive this one as well??? How many more are gonna pass on before you realise you can't keep live animals as pets. 5 months after it escaped it was still alive, if it was gonna perish it would've happened long before the 5 month mark.
