I really enjoy your videos. You help me to enjoy nature, I appreciate how complex and well assembled the room is setup too, especially the fig and olive trees, it gives almost a calm image of Jesus in the garden, just scaled down to room-size.
I hope she gets an outdoor enclosure once it’s warmer out. I’d probably get an outdoor dog kennel instead of building from scrap. I wouldn’t want her cooped up inside when it’s nice out she’s not domesticated and even if she won’t survive in the wild I think she should be able to live outside in an enclosure.

Channels like antcanada do in depth research on their pets' behaviour and are passionate about the hobby. This guy just seems like he is here for the views from youtube. He hot glues wasp nests to planks and install fake plants then wonders why his projects fail
I saw this comment at 1:36 where he claims “Poppy is trying to escape” but she’s trying to leave because she is uncomfortable from my interpretation. I stopped watching at 1:43 because it was obvious he doesn’t know what he is doing. I know he’s not going to like this comment if he ever sees this, but it is important to have a passion for animals which includes a knowledge of taking care of animals. Just like how an employee *takes care* of their job. A mother basically. It’s not a vacation dad type of duty, leave that for fixing things.

He should be doing research on how to actually keep a opossum safe healthy and happy. Fake plants can be super toxic to most animals if they try and bite into it because the chemicals. Not only that but people who don’t do real research on animals is why so many exotic pets are neglected. Habitats matter as much as the food source

Biologically, Opossums would venture off even from their bio moms as their biology and brain structure tells them to do so. none domesticated animals do not think of a "mother" or "provider" or "owner" like a domesticated animal such as a dog would. once they are able to go off they will do so willingly.

I want to hear an update about Rocky! Also, opossums have such terrible vision that they're basically blind so noises kind of terrify them until they know what they are. Rustling of bags, scratching, thumping, bumping, certain octaves of noises, etc. ASMR is their worst nightmare unless you're talking really low and almost whispering to them. Their ears and nose are EVERYTHING, so I have learned I have to be quieter when I'm handling them or near their enclosure/area. So this video of you opening the boxes....the crunching, ripping, and plastic rustling is making me cringe into my skin because of how loud it is. Just imagine how loud it is to Rocky whose hearing is way better than mine! Just letting you know. I know you're enthusiastic but she wants quiet and calm more than anything most of the time
Rocky would not be living anymore, seeing, the time stamps here. Life expectancy of opossums is about 2yrs. Longer if they are lucky enough to find forever human foster/adoption homes with loving, attentive, nutritional & responsible human's.

You should really keep ants. Some of them are amazing and way harder to keep than wasps.
@LunaWolfiePaw some ants are WAAAY harder to keep than wasps. Most aren't but some definitely can be.

In 3 months time: rocky chewed through the wall and has escaped. Trying to lure it on my head with garbage.
