I love how Eden was praying for him when he was sinking. I have heard from so many couples who have experienced the other praying for them when they were in trouble! I also thought it was powerful when Eden said blessed is the Lord who gives and takes away. That's very hard for a woman to say who just lost her child.

BUT where did they find themselves? In a harsh wilderness, the struggle (there IS an ending) is to get Egypt out of us.
Simon Peter sinking, to me, shows how we all “sink” when we take our eyes off of Yeshua, whether it’s getting angry or going off course in our life paths or have a tragedy in our family or among friends. What I love too is how the men on the boat were calling out to Yeshua “Help him!” Just as we pray for our loved ones when they’re “sinking”, in life. The Chosen teaches SO many lessons to all of us!!! 🙌✝️🕊🥰
Completely agree. But I think Simon was the only one who showed courage and wanted to jump into the water.May be that's one of the reasons Jesus called him.
I agree it's so true. Everything you said about Peter and what he portrayed here is also our reality. Once we take our eyes off Jesus, we fall or sink into darkness. But if we call out for help, He is there always for us. He is only a prayer away. SHALOM SHALOM.

Love this. Seeing Jesus in the clouds KNOCKED ME ON MY FEET! WOW! I love this. We have Jewish parallelism in the story of Peter here. In the real world when Peter takes his eyes of Jesus, he ends up losing all of his authority and verve for the kingdom. He almost becomes a hindrance to the rest of the disciples. That is what the whole back story about Eden is to show us. We know what this is like in our own lives. Our trials are to make us depend totally on Jesus even if we think He is not dealing with our situation. In Peter we see the doubt resurfacing that he had before Jesus called him when He made the miracle of suppling the fish. We will see it again at Jesus arrest. These failures are what make Peter great for he learns eventually to no longer look at outward circumstances but has learned to keep his eyes on Jesus. So should we, especially when we fail or want to deconstruct our faith. Jesus is there waiting to lift us back to Himself and put the storms of our lives into perspective. Jesus could have calmed the storm long before the point when He did, but we would never learn to trust Him, nor see His full and awesome power. God is in control at all times, we need only to keep our eyes on Him. Peter continually shows great faith but can immediately fall, as in his declaration of Jesus being the Messiah and then being rebuked for trying to stop Jesus from doing the work of salvation that He came to do. His final restoration is also found on the shore after a night of futile endeavour, beside a fire with grilled fish and a God who calls out His failure with steadfast love and a purpose for life. How do we fit into the story and what stage of our faith's journey are we at? How many times will we fall? But Jesus is waiting for our call. HE waits with power and an outstretched arm to defeat the enemy of doubt and to change the narrow vision of HIM that we have into the full picture. Though this actual story may not be in the gospel at this point, it IS the story of how GOD deals with HIS people found throughout the whole of Scripture. We can get into trouble when we just look at the parts we like and ignore the difficult passages, for those passages show us what we are like, and how patient, steadfast and loving GOD is.
The Church is lying to you Jesus is not God Jesus never said I am God If Jesus were God, He would have said this very clearly Jesus, peace be upon him, is a great human being and prophet Jesus said there is only one true God Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. @@CoachMischa The Creator gave me a mind to think with and distinguish between right and wrong You want to blindly follow the church my brother, you must think and search for the truth The first commandments of Christ are: Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel. The Lord our God is one Lord." (Mark 12:29). Read the Qur'an, the words of the Creator and learn about the truth about Jesus and his mother Mary
I really liked this also, I have been told I am impetuous like Peter. One could say that his zeal gets him into embarrassing situations, BUT he got to walk back to the boat with Jesus on top of the water, the "pew sitters" stayed in safety, but missed the opportunity of a life time - 10 life times.
I love listening to Messianic Jews speaking on the Gospel. You bring such depth and history that we could never fully understand, but adds a richness and completeness to the Scripture as a whole.
I think the lesson with Peter, as presented in the movie, is not whether or not he believed Jesus was who he said he was but whether as a follower he doesn't get special treatment. While the whole "lost my baby" tale is not from the Bible, the "how do we benefit from knowing you" theme appears many places in the gospels -- who will be greatest, who sits on the right hand, we've given up everything to follow you, so what do we get. So while they have added elements (which they freely acknowledge), I feel it does succeed in introducing something we see with some regularity in the gospel account--understanding that the narrow path can be hard.
Last Friday my family survived a tornado hitting our home. Today is the first day we have had electricity - Good Friday. During the storm, when we felt the house shaking apart around us, my husband, son, and I were huddled together in our little bathroom and we were each praying. My son was asking for forgiveness of our sins, I was asking for Jesus to keep my family safe, and my husband was praying for protection of our home. It happened so fast and in that moment when all three of us literally thought we might be in our final earthly moments, we called out to Jesus. We focused on Him, not the storm and He protected us. Our home is damaged but nothing that isn't fixable. We were immensely blessed. And in this last week when we were extremely exhausted and uncomfortable, I thought about how much suffering Jesus was going through on this week 2000 years ago. No one can ever tell me Jesus isn't real.
I have lost it all...everything but my Lord and Savior. Twelve years ago, at 47, I had a husband, a home, a miracle child. I chose to follow Jesus. I have been abandoned and rejected by all I love. Praising God for freeing me and showing me the truth. Jesus help me!
I bawled all the way thru the Chosen. Biblically it’s correct. I checked it . The fillers don’t take anything away from what Yeshua did. Never taking my eyes off Him, and when He says “ If you’ve seen me you have seen the Father” made such an impact on my life. I knew it but I didn’t KNOW IT! Great reaction my brothers in Yeshua ,love from a saved grafted in Aussie believer. I can’t wait for season four!! God bless you both.🙏🏽♥️✝️
It's comments from real men such as what you portrayed by your note, that give me hope for my gender. The Chosen is aimed right at the heart, that is why it is such a threat to pastors, many of whom have flinty hearts (go ahead, ask their wives about their spouse's heart/love condition). "You shall worship Me in truth (mind, fleeing sin) and Spirit (heart, love)"; for decades, churches have tipped heavily toward the mind and law, stifling the heart.
In August 2014 our9-year-old special-needs daughter went to heaven. She had a rough life on earth at times she couldn’t talk or walk or do many things kids her age did. But her smile change lives and her story affected thousands. I cannot fathom a parent walking through the grief of child loss without the Lord. I cannot begin to imagine how I would’ve made it one day, one moment, without knowing with everything inside of me that Makenna was in heaven completely healed with no seizures and no scars. Walking dancing singing and doing all the things that she couldn’t do here. Were we heartbroken? Of course. But did our hearts stay broken? No because there is joy in knowing that this life is just temporary and very soon Will be with our daughter and our God!!! So yes there are trials and tribulations of many kinds but the second part of the verse is also true. He’s so good. He’s so so so so good it breaks my heart to think of the people who purposefully deny him.
I share in your loss and resurrection to life. Our 12 year old went to his Heavenly Home and we also plunged into a time of "dark night of the soul" for a time. In that dark time I read where God doubled everything Job had lost, but I noticed not his children. Because they were not lost as were his possessions, they were waiting on him.
Please pray for me. I’ve been praying so much this past year over so much that was happening. But by bit I lost everything for a third time in life. This season was hard for me to watch and this episode upset me so much when it shouldn’t have. I’ve run out of gas and don’t even know what to pray for. Just working on being grateful for salvation. Please pray for my mom to get free of what’s happening around us. Please pray for my ex wife, who I truly believed God was bringing home, that just make sure she’s not distracted by the world; that he will remember her name. Please pray for those who left us by ourselves trying to save a company. That they would also be given salvation to those who don’t believe. Lord help me just be grateful for You and restore my depleted soul.
@@KB_2161 You are in the right place for God to work. Depend totally on Him and forget what you want to happen. The result will be miraculous and unpredictable. God wants you for Himself without any baggage so as He can have your life completely. When you can cry like a baby like Peter, "Don't leave me, don't ever leave me" He will show you how He has been with you all the time. Forget the storm and look only to the life God offers in Jesus. You will find His richest blessing and be renewed, rather than be refilled to take on the worries of life again. Then you will find the joy of Habakkuk 3 17-19, and Joel. Joy is more intense because it comes after darkness. But joy is not what we seek, but is a surprise result when we only want God for who He is.
God is faithful my brother. I don't know what you're going through and probably couldn't fathom it but I 100% believe that God will pull you through just as He did for me so many many many times.
Praying for you, brother! I'm going through some very, very rough times right now too and sometimes all I can think of to pray is for the Lord to glorify Himself in a terrible situation. God bless you and yours!
So often water is used to symbolize our mercurial emotions. To me this scene shows how hard it really is to stay fixed on Jesus in the things we face on earth on a daily basis.
this is the scene that helped me while my daughter hit the ICU.. witches trying to kill my baby.. I sent out a video of my daughter to my church family.. my pastor called and said im on my way. He prayed for her and rebuked DEATH , MIND CONTROL , WITCHCRAFT OFF OF HER. HER FACE CAME BACK TO NORMAL HER HANDS AND FEET TURNED WARM AGAIN.. she woke up at 2am ready to get outta there. God is real Jesus is real .. When i tell you the doctors couldnt believe their eyes.. by the 3rd day we were out of the ICU.. my daughter is 4 years old. The devil is a liar!!! This trail i went through made me and my husband stronger.. OUR FAITH IS 1000% GOD IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL FATHER.. nothing and know one will understand what we went through.. we put our trust in God. but this scene is what got me through what i was going through.. Me walking in to the E.R driving in traffic while my baby was rushed in an ambulance. my mind was on a rollercoster. Angery with the devil. praising god.. telling god hes is bigger than all our problems.. I will forever be grategul for my heavenly father
Something I ran across while reading in the book of Job yesterday, and it made me think of this scene and when I saw this video with your reaction, I knew I had to share it. Job 9:8 says, "He alone spreads out the sky and walks on the waves in the sea." My reaction was, "Wait, did Job just lay out a prophecy that Yeshua would walk on water?!?!" Completely blew my mind! Thank you for another great reaction! I always look forward to them.
Exciting insight! As a family we tried to find Jesus through the Old Testament. My 12 yr old blew me away with this one. When you pass the Light of the World through Living Water, you will get a rainbow. Noah's promise from God included the coming of a Savior.
Thank you for that. I would love to pass on a blessing. My family tried to find Jesus thu the Old Testament, my 12 year old came up with, passing the Light of the World thru Living Waters creates a rainbow - Noah's promise from God included the hope of a future Savior. Blessings-
My favorite moment that demonstrates that Jesus/God has not forsaken or forgotten Simon Peter is him saying, "...and Eden." Through all the pain and suffering of loss, He's had her in the palm of His hand the whole time.
WTFluff that's so far from the original story😂 Simon Peter had perfect faith that Jesus would call him, that's literally how he knew it was Jesus "if it's Jesus he'll definitely let me come too!" Is what he thought. What he said was “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”Matthew 14:28 And he called the instant he started falling😂 his trust in Jesus was at a subliminal level, that guy... Imagine the unimaginable consequences if it really WAS a demon or a ghost and he just went sploosh in stormy waters... and he just _went._ 😂 Gotta love Peter.
I feel similarly to Maureen Martin. Even in th Bible, Peter is angry over Yeshua's recent miracles with the Gentiles and perhaps Yeshua's explanation finally got through to him and he seemed to try to take a step forward and disconnected from Yeshua. I know the story and still wondered if Peter would be unconscious when he was saved.
He had faith in Jesus, and struggled with, as you said would He or Wouldn't He. I think that it was a lack of faith in himself and his lack of having a worthiness for a miracle. I can really identify with that.
Simon Peter is so relatable. He's all enthusiasm mixed with a lot of mess ups. But I love how he keeps allowing himself to be broken so that he can get right. He was ignorant and lost, just like the rest of us. But he also had faith and courage to overcome his failings.
I mean I just love this finale with psalm 77 it's "spiritually gem packed"! They portrayed so many depth of the Lord's compassion". And I love to see Dr Tom's tear each and every time. There like tsars of gold who've been refined in fire. Each and every time I see Dr Tom crying I just see the beauty of the Lord.
Mentioning Baal as the “Storm god”…. And putting together Jesus walking in the water during a storm and commanding the storm to be still….blew me away and brought tears to my eyes. The people of Israel often prostituted themselves, gave themselves idolized that God in place of the God they knew existed. Jesus proves in the Gospels and particularly in this story that He is in control. My goodness.
You are so right, Dr. Tom, the life in Yeshua, is miraculous, small and great things daily! The Creator of the Universe has written our names on the palm of His hand. It is such a mystery and beyond comprehension. HIS KINGDOM COME
I love the fact that Jesus’s shows up in my daily life for me and my brothers and sisters in Christ! His miracles are for all and I have seen them. He is no respecter of persons! Thank you, Jesus!
Sam you are so close to God that you draw me closer to Him. Yes the Chosen is what originally started my journey. Your love of God keeps me going. Please keep up your work and thank you.
“Then come to me, you weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest.” The moment I hear him say it in this show or I read it in scripture, I ball my eyes out. I can’t help it. He is the most loving god. I worship this man because of his love. Amen
That's what The Chosen is all about. Trying to correct the lopsidedness of our churches' over emphasis on truth (mind, fleeing sin) and losing sight of the Spirit (heart, love). "You shall worship me in ...". Also, did you realize that Adam was cut off from his heart, because he defied the Lord; Eve was NOT cut off from her heart. This is why The Chosen has created such a stir among pastors, some have flinty hearts and feel unsafe having a breath of fresh air blown straight into them. Blessings!
So glad you did this reaction video. Love you guys! God bless you both 🙏. Now, my wife and I just need to focus on getting funds together for next years Holy Land trip. Can’t wait to finally go. Sooooooooooooo excited!!! 😁👍
I enjoyed this episode so much. I know you guys keep mentioning the liberty that Dallas is taking, but he said from the beginning,it's not a documentary. I think Dallas does such a wonderful job writing a story for the fans while staying in the Word. Why do we have a tough time with the Simon Eden story??? It's something someone can truly relate to. On the other hand I guess it's important to keep saying, this is not in the bible... 🤷🏾♀️
What makes this even better is knowing the backstory of the actor who plays Peter because he doesn't know about Jesus or anything about what happens to Him. The actor is Israeli and has never heard or read the Bible or who Jesus is. I pray he is totally transformed by playing this biblical character of Simon Peter. He has said in a previous interviews when they first began filming that he isn't reading ahead, he is just learning as he goes through each season.
When he calmed the storm, the disciples asked WHO he was that even the winds and sea obeyed him. Later, he answered their question when he came to them walking on the sea. Job 9:8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. Who was he? He that stretched out the stars!
Ever since I was a boy, I have struggled with the various Bible Stories of the conversion of the Apostles. Some of them were truly Evil and they got it proven to them of the exalted Christ, so much so as to instantly bring them to follow Him. If only I could receive that sure knowledge, I too would easily commit myself to Him. Then finally, it was pointed out to me that that is why God had those stories recorded, I can relive all of those moments for myself. It was when I was truly converted, even though I was raised in a home that was seriously dedicated to the Lord!!!
I agree with Sharon Gerber. We as believers in Jesus Christ, our Saviour, are guilty of taking our eyes off Jesus when trouble comes. We love and marvel at God's Power in Christ, but we struggle to hold firm our faith when what we see and experience shakes our faith. I understood this so much when I read it for the first time in the Bible. It hit me like a ton of bricks, with it's Absolute depiction of every Christians struggle to hold on to our faith when storms of our lives come. Dallas Jenkins and the other writers of The Chosen used something so heartbreaking as losing a child, that's a relatable trial to show the struggle of keeping the faith, no matter what. So good 🕊⚓️💦🌴
My mom and I cried so intently and I saw my mother so RAW and humbled in that moment and the scene coming to close with my mother exclamated, "THAT WAS EVERYTHING & MORE THAN I DID OR COULD EXPECT!" I absolutely 💯 feel so warmed watching her pray for him as she goes underwater at same time as him.... it's so refreshing and epitome of love on all fronts. PEACE - BE STILL....WAS FOR PETER AND EDEN BUT WAS GODS WAY TO RELAY THAT MESSAGE TO PETER THROUGH A PHYSICALLY ENTITY. CHILLS YO. CHILLS AND LOTS OF GOOD TEARS! ✝️
I love the impact this series is having on many many people. The fruit it's producing. What hurts is the constant criticism it is getting from the church, although the production clearly states it is not 100% biblical. Modern day Pharisees everywhere, cannot see the message.
Another wonderful reaction - I was blessed to see this in the theater and I remember grabbing my friend when I realized this was going to happen! It did not disappoint…This is our God - water walking, storm calmer and yes miracle maker!
Simon needed to work through his first big trial, to reconcile that loving and giving his life to serve Jesus doesn’t guarantee anything except that He will always be with Him in and through all things!
You guys take so much time to do reactions, been waiting for this. Anyway... I am grateful 🙏 Your reactions are always amazing, insightful and edifying. God bless you
I have always LOVED this story in the Bible, especially after I came to understand that it's the first miracle that the disciples couldn't attribute to slight of hand in some form or fashion. The multiplied food they could probably explain away ... but not walking on water and telling the sea to cease and desist--especially after it did just that AT his command!!
My 12 year old daughter watching this with us the other day: "Well... There he is! Atticus is eating... AGAIN." 🤣 Seriously though, I'm SO GRATEFUL that this show exists. Our family is really enjoying experiencing this together. I only wish we had heard about it sooner! Then again, that would mean our wait for Season 4 would have been so much longer.
Thank you you have so much to add! This was quite dramatic in the movie on the big screen. I saw it twice. Very exciting very wonderful and you guys are too!
When you said, "You can not imagine it" I have read and watched video's and really looked into the picture given of the throne room. I can not even imagine the light and the Angels, the stone of fire the sea of crystal wheels within wheels covered with eyes, faces of animals and men on one being with 6 wings.... Beyond me to imagine.
I don’t think Peter ever doubted that He was who He said he was. Peter just let the reality of the world around him catch his attention for a split second and boom, he started sinking…. And there was Yeshua to pull him back up.❤️
Thank you Grafted for this video and sharing your insights and reactions for this scene. I can relate to this as I've gone through similar issues, but not the walk on water lol! And I am so grateful and blessed to have JESUSin my life. He is the only reason of my existence. Infact, He is always with us no matter what. So true to us. He is our everything. PEACE ! From New Zealand.
We all wrestle with doubts about ourselves like Simon does through this trial between Eden and himself. Perhaps the church needs to be reminded that God doesn't make mistakes, we do. So many of God's own people, are living like the victory hasn't already been won. "All authority" is His, we just have to be in harmony with Him.
I don’t care what liberties The Chosen took to build up and tie in the Simon/Eden story line with the walking on water. They never claimed to be just repeating the Bible verbatim. They said that they are telling a story and had to try and make sense of the gaps and “what if’s” and “what could have happened” in order to try and give some possible context to what was going on back in those times. This show is leading hundreds of thousands if not millions to Christ. This scene in particular is absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to see the remaining 4 seasons!!!

If Jesus were God, He would have said this very clearly
Jesus, peace be upon him, is a great human being and prophet
Jesus said there is only one true God
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3).
Jesus prays to God
Luke {6:12} "And in those days he went out to the mountain to pray. And he spent the whole night praying to God."

The Creator gave me a mind to think with and distinguish between right and wrong
You want to blindly follow the church
my brother, you must think and search for the truth
The first commandments of Christ are:
Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel.
"If you look at the storms around you, it will take you down. " Awesome! I will have to remember that.
So true!
God bless you both.🙏🏽♥️✝️
You checked? Maybe check again.
@@peter25681 Ikr Paul said "Do not quench the spirit" & yet they do 😥
@@1martywilson Doesn't need to check again. This show is bringing people to God. Troll elsewhere.
My tissue bill went way up because of The Chosen.
My prayer is that the Lord will turn your weeping into laughter. The Lord will see you through this difficult situation and give strength and comfort.
🙏
Praying for you, brother! I'm going through some very, very rough times right now too and sometimes all I can think of to pray is for the Lord to glorify Himself in a terrible situation. God bless you and yours!
So often water is used to symbolize our mercurial emotions. To me this scene shows how hard it really is to stay fixed on Jesus in the things we face on earth on a daily basis.
Fear distracts us. In our suffering He is strong. "Don't let go of me Jesus."
this is the scene that helped me while my daughter hit the ICU.. witches trying to kill my baby..
Not a man or spirit alive that could duplicate the Lord Jesus, but the Chosen team did well... Love the series... So beautiful for all ❤❤
God is wanting the best for you, your neighbor, and..... God only knows how to be good... Yay though I make wrong decisions, God is Grace and Mercy...
Simon had faith that Jesus could but was struggling with whether or not He would.
🎯 Yes and I’m in the same boat. No pun intended!
This summarizes Peter's struggle in this scene!❤ Love this
WTFluff that's so far from the original story😂 Simon Peter had perfect faith that Jesus would call him, that's literally how he knew it was Jesus "if it's Jesus he'll definitely let me come too!" Is what he thought. What he said was “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”Matthew 14:28 And he called the instant he started falling😂 his trust in Jesus was at a subliminal level, that guy... Imagine the unimaginable consequences if it really WAS a demon or a ghost and he just went sploosh in stormy waters... and he just _went._
😂
Gotta love Peter.
It’s ok to let the tears flow. Our God is that AWESOME! Thank you Yeshua!!! 😂
Simon Peter is so relatable. He's all enthusiasm mixed with a lot of mess ups. But I love how he keeps allowing himself to be broken so that he can get right. He was ignorant and lost, just like the rest of us. But he also had faith and courage to overcome his failings.
I love the way Father Casey over at breaking in the habit put it: “Peter, the foolish man of God”.
Yes, Psalm 77 woven through all of this episode brings it all together in a beautiful way!
Jesus had plans for Peter, which was so great a task. It took these experiences with Jesus to prepare him for the days after Jesus' ascension.
He will never leave me …. Always with us… Hallelujah!!!
Sam you are so close to God that you draw me closer to Him. Yes the Chosen is what originally started my journey. Your love of God keeps me going. Please keep up your work and thank you.
“Then come to me, you weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest.”
The moment I hear him say it in this show or I read it in scripture, I ball my eyes out. I can’t help it. He is the most loving god. I worship this man because of his love. Amen
Love the emotion with which you always react -- because knowing Jesus is amazing. Thank you for these commentaries.
Blessings!

Thanks for watching us in Australia!
I seriously love you guys! Thank you so very much for your reactions!
Don't stop doing this, thank you.
He just casually calmed the storm too. Zero effort involved.
Hugs from Brazil. I learn a lot with you two. 💗
Blessings to you in Brazil!
Your words were a sign from God to me!
Don't let go. Don't let go. Those words ring over and over

Loved Thomas. The SECOND most amazing thing I've seen today??
So good 🕊⚓️💦🌴
Thank you for doing this….. We serve such an incredible God!!!!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS REACTION I AM SO STOKED
His grace is sufficient enough for me 🙏✝️🙏
Love this scene! AND your commentary! Tears of WORSHIP and JOY!
Thank you Yeshua for this!
My mom and I cried so intently and I saw my mother so RAW and humbled in that moment and the scene coming to close with my mother exclamated, "THAT WAS EVERYTHING & MORE THAN I DID OR COULD EXPECT!"
I absolutely 💯 feel so warmed watching her pray for him as she goes underwater at same time as him.... it's so refreshing and epitome of love on all fronts.
PEACE - BE STILL....WAS FOR PETER AND EDEN BUT WAS GODS WAY TO RELAY THAT MESSAGE TO PETER THROUGH A PHYSICALLY ENTITY.
CHILLS YO. CHILLS AND LOTS OF GOOD TEARS!

I love the impact this series is having on many many people. The fruit it's producing. What hurts is the constant criticism it is getting from the church, although the production clearly states it is not 100% biblical. Modern day Pharisees everywhere, cannot see the message.
It is our nature as humans to loose our focus. I believe He gives us credit every time we try.
I loved your analysis of this scene. I had been waiting for weeks for y'all to speak on it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Love you guys! ❤🙏🏽

I love you guys. Your reactions are so moving and so real. Thanks so much.

He shows up, amen
Epic review. Thank you.
Very cool scene. If I was one of the apostles, I'd be scared as heck seeing Him walking on water during a storm.

We all get out of the boat and have a moments of doubt. Simon was human, just like the rest of us. If only we understood what God could/can do with us if we were/are willing.
