Enjoy the drone shots. You, Hilarie and the other family members are appreciated.
I so enjoy your monologue while you are working. Talking to yourself, your machinery, and your tools--so entertaining and homey. Thanks for another glimpse into your world.
*I was raised on a 120 acre dairy farm in North Central Illinois in the 50's and 60's helping Dad do chores. Used a "H" and rake as my first field experience at 8 years old. Still remember the sights and smells and sounds. Used to bale hay, walk beans and shell corn for farmers in my area. Farming is such a noble occupation. Thanks for your videos. You are living the dream........*
Maybe its time to go back.

Hi Pete, I just wanted to take a moment and tell you what you and your videos mean to me. I've been watching for about 2 years. My son and I would always watch your videos as soon as we got the notification that you had uploaded one... We have a small farm here in South Carolina, and we just love your videos... my son who was 5yo passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 1st of this year it's been the hardest year of our lives he was my farm buddy, my mini me, my best friend and was with me everywhere I went... I miss him so much... but your videos have helped me so much... since his passing, I've had a lot of anxiety but just to come in and sit and watch your videos and remember all the fun my son Thomas and I had watching them has made a huge difference. Thank you for all you do. I know it can't be easy running a farm and making videos, but I'm so glad you do.
So sorry for your loss....I can only imagine your grief for sweet Thomas.
Sorry to hear bout your son...I hope you to continue to find peace.
Sorry for your loss
Peace be with you Sir.
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss! Please know that there are a lot of Pete’s viewers who pray for strength for you to get through these difficult days!
6:31 makes me happy you put a cable in instead of using jacks
Hey Pete, I remember going with my grandfather on the hay wagon pulled by his pair of Dapple Perch's to pick up the square bales...It was a Disney World with each day different...I learned how to drive a hay wagon with a horse team at age 13...then I advanced to driving the pickup
truck to collect broken bales...then spend a whole morning picking peas, beans and apples...yup, I miss that era...Cheers from Maine.
Always a pleasure Pete. You inspired me to get back into real food production after I found your channel some 2 years ago. Now my family live off nothing but real food from the farm. I even grow my own feed for the animals. Nothing is purchased whatsoever. Nature and nurture. Yes, that means we grow and mill our own flour, cornmeal, oatmeal, grits, fresh churned butter and you can't beat homemade ice cream as I was raised on back in the 60s. My niece and grand nieces and nephews can't wait for the weekends and family gatherings. I even purchased and additional 13 acres to have for boy n girl scouts camp, the local orphanage to give them place for summer camp and my church to do picnicking on. Live is wonderful, especially when you share it. Good seeing kids learn where their food comes from and what it takes to grow it.
@chauncey...You have no idea how impressed I am over all that you and your family have accomplished in two years!

Another entertaining video Pete, God bless you Hillary and the kids
I like the scenery those big puffy clouds makes a perfect painted picture
Thank you Pete, you always up lift me when I feel flat
By the way, I liked your tire install trick, may I use that some time in the future please.
I love the way Pete cooks meat, 🍖 right on the grill, not all dolled-up, no lipstick 💄 on Pete's pigs! 😂
Love the way your videos are ending by the grill… great final touch to a good days work!
Tedder might be small but that just gives you more sit time on those beautiful old farmalls love it
I was a butcher in my younger days ,and boy if I lived by you I would certainly buy you out ,most days , ,your produce looks amazing, I most likely be broke ,but my belly would be full , bless you all at JUST A FEW ACRES 😌👍
Some days I feel like the tin man getting run over by a steamroller, foiled and defeated but then Pete puts out a video and man my day turns around in a heartbeat ! ❤
Amen 🙏 Amen to that!! Truer Words never spoken !! 🙏🙏🙏🕊
Nice use of older equipment. Having the right size piece of equipment is very important to do each job well
I love watching your videos. They make my day. I am 76 years old and worked on a hog farm when I was13 and 14. I loved it. I miss those days, not a care in the world. Things where good back then. People got along and respected each other not like today. May God bless you and your family.
Pete you really dont know how helpful for us younger first gen farmers you have been love the way you TEACH!!!
I'm so jealous of all the rain, living here in central Texas Ive forgotten what rain looks like.
Hats off to the turnbuckle inventor. A great solution in so many applications. The chicken pasture drone footage surely shows how large it is. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you'll get 25 bales 😉Have a great day!!
I’m going to say 6 bales
Big Rounds or Squares?
@@texancowboy9988 i'm thinking square
Pete you are outstanding in your field 😛😊❤️🚜🎥
Yeah, but his Dad jokes are a little rusty.
Those chop look delicious, I grew up on a farm in Western Canada , we raised Tamworth hogs and farm butchered, I do remember how they were so good , loin chops were my favorite meat even though we raised beef those pork chops were may favorite!
The farm ran on a similar set of rules you go by but no farmers market , we did have people have us raise and process chickens ,turkeys, ducks, geese and Ginny fowl for them as well as steers and hogs , we had a walk-in freezer so in the early 60’s before chest freezers became reasonably priced we rented lockers in the freezer section. It was a good source of income .
We had a dairy, laying hens , cow calf and a registered Black Angus heard that was primarily for selling breed bulls from we used to sell the yearling heifers to people who wanted to improve their heard. I enjoy your channel and really connect with your philosophies. I am in my 70’s and still maintain the acre we live on in North Alabama , grow a garden and have an orchard most of the produce we don’t use goes to the free kitchens . Best Wishes to you and your family
PS.
I decided farming was nice but way too much risk and market volatility so I got an engineering education and had a wonderful career working on 5 continents living on 3of them and retiring as the CEO of a small global oil and gas Technology,Engineering and Service enterprise, my wife , a RN/OHN nurse, of 50 years and I raised a family , have grandchildren. We moved 15 times in 44 years of work life she was always up for a new adventure. My last job we kept Apartments in Cairo , Bucharest and a guest house in Indonesia so now I enjoy staying in one place and enjoying life.
Pete, you always make me smile, thank you for all you do.
These everyday videos are so relaxing, not for you, of course, but I just love watching the daily course of events. Thanks.
As always, it is a joy and a privilege to be involved with your farm from a distance. The only "complaint" I have from watching your videos is when you taste-test your dinner! Those chops looked amazing and it is almost painful to watch you savor that steak...can I have just a nibble, please? {LOL!!!} Thank you so very much for sharing your farm, your work, and your life with us; we are fortunate and blessed to have your channel to enjoy. Be safe, be well,
Great video and I am glad to see everything coming together Farm looks great 👍
I live in Northern Ontario Canada and it has been a crazy summer weather wise. The hay might not be perfectly dry but still usable which is a good thing. The thunderstorms and torrential down pours are something else.
Good day I am from Kitchener Waterloo Ont , Yes it was a crazy weather this yr. All over Canada
So were are u from ? Thanks

Hi Pete, probably my favorite part of your videos is when your making hay. Speaking of hay I’m going to make a prediction your videos are so good that your subs will exceed 500k by the end of the year.
it's amazing how the machines work perfectly and quickly
I haven't commented much on your site and wanted you to know how much
my husband and I look forward to everyone of your new videos. Love your words of wisdom.😊
Pete another awesome video I was beginning to have Just a few acers farm withdraws. Can't wait until the next video
12:08 love this tractor, love how it switches from gas to diesel
You are right about changing small tires they always give me a fit. Next time I'll try the vise grip trick so I don't have to chase them.
It was good to see you at the show in Canandaigua. Didn't get to speak with you as you always seem to draw a crowd. Enjoy your videos.
My mouth waters I wish I could buy some of your pork chops from you they look so tasty thanks for teasing me pete! Lol great video!
Thanks Pete, a great way to end a Tuesday!
Like i mentioned to you friday at Canandaigua, your editing and those drone shots are always great!! Keep them coming,Pete!!
My day job is concrete and night time is my farm. And at the end of a busy back breaking day watching your videos are so relaxing. Keep up the good work your content is impeccable! Best wishes from eastern pa !
Pete, you always make me smile, thank you for all you do.. it's amazing how the machines work perfectly and quickly.
What’s not like about your videos. You are great story teller, camera operator, videographer and master bad joke teller (which make me laugh out loud). Who else has great endings with tasty grill marks?🥩.. 👍😊
Good morning Pete. Another wonderful day on the farm.
Hello Pete when I was a kid tedding hay was unheard of it sure speeds up drying time and one can produce a better quality of hay. Dinner looked great we cook alot over wood the best. Have a great day.
I see a baling video in the future. These videos are my Zen.
Years of wrestling small tires, I wish I would have thought about using vice grips on these smaller tires. You really can learn something new. Thanks Pete.
ℹ absolutely love your videos as long as you never put the music some people put on their videos 👍🏻😁
I agree with no music. How would we be able to hear Patty, or a ping in an engine? I’m not a farmer, but the daughter of a CPT compressor builder and the niece of a dairy farmer. 💙
I had the same problem removing and reinstalling a small tire on a wagon. My solution was a solid rubber tire. Costs a little more but solved a headache maker.
Fun watching you work on the tedding and getting the tire changed, I like the comments you make to the tire. The MD is a nice one, I'm really impressed with what you did with it, I did watch the entire rebuild, back when you did it. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a fantastic day!
Pete would you ever consider restoring the implements over the winter? I think it would be interesting to watch you cleanup and repair/repaint something like the small tedder.
Hi Pete. Just wanted to say that myself and my family absolutely love watching your channel and because of you we are shifting the way we do things and also looking into Dexter cattle. I also want to say that we love watching everything about the farm. From Haying to the chores and animals and fixing the equipment. It's farming, everything is farming and that's why we love you and your wife.. oh and the silly jokes as well.. 😂 may you all be blessed and hope you keep up the great work..
It's a good thing you keep moving on your farm Pete otherwise we wouldn't be able to see when you do your videos! 🙂
It is a Blessing to have a Dad like yours! I say that because I lost my dad when I was 9 years old, so when I see your Dad and how much he supports you, let’s just say it catches my eye. This is not a sad story for me because my Father in Heaven has always been there for me, so a person couldn’t ask for more!
Great Job Tedding ur Hay with ur Farmall MD. nothing beats some Porkchop's after doing ur job.
What a great machine! The overhead drone footage is perfect! Thanks Pete!
I love watching your videos and your farm is located in such a beautiful part of the country! I eagerly await your next videos and continue to be amazed at the depth of your knowledge in so many different areas. Keep up the good work. Your legacy will be priceless to so many people in the future.
I was able to make the Pageant of Steam and I got to tell you, I almost got ran over by about 50 different golf carts 😮
Thankyou Pete. Watching you change that tyre reminded me of my Dad doing the same thing when I was a kid. I still have his Tyre irons, never had to use them but won't ever get rid of them. They were my Dad's.
Love all the gates how You did them - Great tire tip - Have an Awesome Week !!!
Pete, you are amazing. The stuff you know and can fix is impressive. Every architect I've known was highly intelligent, but couldn't fix the simplest things. Very impressive. Wish you were my neighbor.
You never cease to amaze me (changing that tire). Dad did a great job on the gate ! 💕
Question for the whole family. How does it feel to know that your family video's bring so much joy to thousands of people? Your fans appreciate all the hard work you guys put in to these video's, besides doing farm chores.
Years like this make a good case for wrapping bales in plastic. It’s been a challenge for drying anything for sure.
Thanks Pete, it’s so relaxing listening to you talking about your day. 👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Always look for your new video and enjoy each one. I never thought about using vice grips to help remounting a tire but I will definitely remember it. Goes to show one is never too old to learn a better or easier way, thanks.
Thanks for sharing once again. Always informative and entertaining. Pork chops look good. Take care & stay safe.
Well, you did it again. What a wonderful way to begin my day❤
Thanks for the serenity in such a crazy world.
Thank you sir awesome video as always...love the tractor content...eager to see some more 856 story...the pinnacle of the small farm tractors...they are all great in their own way...so much heritage..
Thanks once again for taking the time to take us along Pete! You actually taught me a trick with the vise grips on the rim to help with remounting the tire. Thanks for the tip! Murfreesboro TN
Enjoyed the video as usual and great to see th MD back in action . Your restoration really. put it in the finest condition. Great to see you using it on the hay field.
Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada. I always smile when a new video is released. You produce some serious top quality videos Pete.
Beautiful clouds and blue, blue sky! Thoroughly enjoyed your Tedding. That calf is adorable, getting comfy and those two pigs are definitely not as skiddish~! Always, always enjoy your videos, Thank you for sharing!
You will never know how much I look forward to your video's!! They bring back so many memories !! Many thanks !!
Thanks for sharing the video. I have to say your video is very interesting, it has helped me relax after a tiring day at work. Have fun❤
Pete I sure enjoy watching someone else fight those little tires instead of me. Lol

keep on keeping on pete ,
thank you for allowing us to see how farm life isnt eazy ,
but very relaxing to live
I love the cross in the tree line as you ran the tedding hay!!
Hey Pete, love watching you. I grew up on a farm in Michigan and worked on several other farms. We had a Farmall M and my neighbors that I also worked with had a MD. We also had a C & H.
A beautiful view of the farm with your drone…..things look great.
Thanks Pete for the video. Always a relaxing way to start my day.
Vice grips or a C clamp are a must on small tires.
Those Gates both you and your father made are really nice you did a really nice job with them.
Also I like the fact that I can learn different ways to do things, like the vice grips on the rim and what speed you ted hay with. Thanks for sharing !
Great photograpy! Very entertaining! And thanks for the tractor ride! Never been one one before! You helped me to walk in your shoes because I wanted to get that hay in before the storm!
The F20,H and Super C you have restored all look great as well!!
Hey I just thought you should know. I love your videos and I really miss the farm with all the fresh food and qatch8ng how gard you and Ms. HILLARY work. Thank you so very much again. I look for to your videos.
My husband and I watch your videos faithfully, and now our 2 year old grandson is a fan, too! He asks for “Pete, Pete!” If there were a toy farm with Pete and Hillary we’d sure buy it. ( hint hint) Cows, Titus, tractors…
I was born and raised out in the country and met my wife at 19 years old married at 20 and moved to a small city for 15 years then moved to my home town city where I currently live. Had one girl and adopted two wonderful children. boy and girl. I watch videos like this and seriously want to go back to my country upbringing and have a small farm to do what you do. At this point in my life I don’t think that will happen but I cherish videos like this to bring me joy. I am blessed to have the life I have with my family. I dream that someday I can visit for a short time a farm life that you are living. Keep the videos rolling. I love watching.
Always a pleasure to see you using the MD.
Thanks for the visegrip trick, I will use that quite a bit
Thank you for the vice grip on the rim trick...I could have used that a few weeks ago! Keep up the great videos.
Good morning Y'all from South Carolina, really enjoy your drone shots. Before tedders, when I boarded out as a teen in Venice Center, if hay got wet, we'd end up out in the field turning windrows by hand with a pitch fork. The bossman was extremely cautious about dislodging the leaf content. I thought he was overboard until then he showed me by 2nd raking part of a windrow and surprise, there was a noticeable difference. If it wasn't right, it didn't go in the barn. My last year with them they had a 60 cow dairy. I mostly washed cows, carried pails to the milk house n changed funnel filters. That was a lot of cans on the morning truck. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Blessings.
The MD and the Super C are good looking tractors. The F30 is the best. My favorite video is when you compared your H, F30, and your 1924 tractor by spreading manure. That old tractor could hang with all of them.
Thanks.
I love old machines working in the hay field. Though I understand why you use the round bales, I do enjoy the small square balers more. Thanks for another great video.
The small tedder gives you more seat time so that's a winner. Letting the air out of the tube works. I usually put just enough air in to get the tube straight then let out before bringing it to pressure. Also when putting the tube in I put a small amount of air just to straighten the tube. This helps keep the tube from getting pinched with the tire tools. Larger tires we use baby powder inside the tire to let the tube slide around so it won't have crinkles while bringing it to pressure. Enjoyed the show. Thank You. God Bless. NW ga.
Running old equipment 👍👍👍
Thanks for the video Pete. 👍
Very relaxing watching this video today. Thanks.
Thanks for the video Pete
Just an Idea for you Pete. weld some flat iron tab on your small gate and and screw your plywood on them. in our area If we screw holes in our pipes they tend to rust out the pipe where the screws were in.
Awesome video pete always nice to see you at work around your farm did miss your team mate Hillary today but enjoyed the video pete thanks for sharing blessings
