I just love the way you create all of your videos. It’s very thorough the way you explain. And all the camera shots and everything. Thank you so much for your fabulous contribution. Go.
Interesting to watch your videos as it is like you are following my journeys but twenty to thirty years later. All the places we both stayed in are kind of same-same but different. I imagine you will look back in thirty years time as you watch some other persons vlog visiting the places you went to and be as interested as I am to see the changes and will experience the mixed feelings I have to see how they developed. I lived in Sayulita in 1993, before moving to Puerto Escondido for bigger better surf and enjoyed watching your videos on both those places. I first travelled to Bali in 1984 and had a miserable time ( me at fault not Bali !) so I didn't return until 1995 the start of a long stay in Bingin ( Uluwatu). There were just four warungs on the beach then, and the deal was you could sleep in them for free if you bought dinner and some drinks. There were no places at all to stay in Bingin, just a little village full of happy Balinese and most nights I fell asleep to the sounds of the surf, cowbells and gamelan music played in the nearby temples. I had planned on a two month trip to Bingin, but ended up building a place there, and helped some of the expat pioneers build their places there too. I sold my place in Bingin and moved out in 2009 coz it was getting way too busy for my tastes. I was in Peru in 2018 and Mexico City / Yucatan in 2019, also in your videos. It will be interesting to see if you make it to my other favourite places. Egypt, (it seems you didn't make it there yet, I highly recommend it), Japan ( for being a truly unique experience due to so many things being different, I went over 40 times in an 11 year period of having a Japanese girlfriend), and the small remote Indian Ocean island where I now live. Keeping the location a secret, coz such rare treasures are becoming fewer and fewer as "development" spreads, those who deserve it will find it. Wishing you safe and happy travels and thank you for enabling me
Thanks, Crosby. Such great information and what a gorgeous place!! I'm a boomer and plan to slow travel when I retire in 4 years. Even though we are a few generations apart, I appreciate the same things you do: a variety of cultures, FOOD!, yoga, beautiful places, and you are comfortable traveling alone. I prefer to travel alone because you can 100% stick to your agenda and not compromise. As a boomer woman, I'm done compromising my time😅 But I really do appreciate all the effort and time you put into your work, and I'm learning so much from your experiences. Can't wait for your next video! 💗
I’ve really been loving all your content. It’s very helpful for someone looking to visit or work remotely in these countries. Thank you for all your amazing videos ❤
Uluwatu looks absolutely beautiful! I never had a chance to go there when I was in Bali a few years ago, but I can really tell that I would like it for sure. I would love to see a video where you compare Canggu with Uluwatu!
I love you! I was looking for exactly this kind of content to make all the desisions! thanks to you, i can finally make up my mind! pretty, excellent video quality and pleasant to listen to you😍
Just found your channel, have been visiting Bali for over two decades and there is so much more I have still ye to discover. Great video will check your other one Canggu/Uluwatu.
Their 100% different. Canggu you can access the Party scene, amazing restaurants/cafes, and beach clubs. It's OVERALL just more "developed" with western amenities. I only got to stay in Uluwatu for about 2-3 days which I was sad about. Uluwatu is just waaaay more relaxed. Surf town vibes. Also, beautiful beach clubs because the beaches are just INSANE. All in all with a scooter there both only about 45 minutes from each other. It's honestly crazy how different the landscapes are.
Uluwatu sounds like my kind of place with the more relaxed and chill vibes! I'd love to see a comparison video. Hopefully I'll be able to visit Indonesia and Bali sometime soon. 😍
Be great to hear about the differences between Canggu and Uluwatu. I only went to Ubud and Canggu a few years ago, however found the lack of footpaths in Canggu a bit challenging for getting everywhere (walking) because I didn’t want to ride a scooter.
Hey Crosby, Great job! Fantastic video, very informative. I was going to relocate there but heard the crime was bad? What is your opinion? All the best & safe travels.
Technicallyyyy yes, you’re supposed to, but it’s not really enforced in Indonesia unless you get into a wreck or pulled over. Then you’ll have to pay a fine and you usually can’t get insurance coverage.
It breaks my heart to se the downfall of Bali, specally Bingn where i started my travels in 1998.. There were only 5 very simple warungs on the beach, no walls and you stayed for free and paid for food.. Toilet was behind the rock and thwe tide flushed it.. Not many people and it really was a dream place, aaahhhh good old times are gone
In my humble opinion, Ulluwatu is 100% better than Canggu. Canggu just seems so hard to get to and cramped like sardines in a can. Good for partying, though, if that's what people want. Great vids, I can't wait until October. I'm coming over to do scuba diving in lembongan, then Kuta, Sanur, and Nusa Dua. Mmm, need to squeeze in Ulluwatu somehow as well.
Hey! nice video, thanks for showing that places, i think is where i’ll be staying next year. I see that you went to the beach, is it safe to leave your staff and go to the water? or you weren’t alone?
Hey I stumbled upon your videos today and I've been binging them all day! Are you or your ex by any chance related to other RUclipsrs called Tim and Fin?
like the TL sunset. would be cool, unless they're against it, to intro your new friend(s) name, maybe a bit about them if they're ok with that. becomes a more personal vlog.

Should check out nyang nyang beach in Ulu! I like that one since it isn’t as packed 🙌🏻

Sunsets are stunning at the cliffs, such as karang boma cliff for example. Bring some beers and enjoy watching the last surfers in the water below.

This is so helpful thank you
I love your videos! Can you tell me where to book hotels/villas /accomodations? Booking and airbnb?
Hey Crosby! Do you need an international DL to rent scooters or will they rent them with a national (European) DL?
Technicallyyyy yes, you’re supposed to, but it’s not really enforced in Indonesia unless you get into a wreck or pulled over. Then you’ll have to pay a fine and you usually can’t get insurance coverage.

What does the red flag at the 4:42 mark denote?

Sure, now keep telling all the people until Ulu is just as f*cked up as the Gu. Great job everybody 👍
Lovely 😍
When you at at the beach by yourself ,is it safe to leave your backpack on the beach while you enjoy the water?
I’m super curious about your thoughts on comparing Bali to puerto Escondido??? Just the overall vibe.
Oooh that could be a cool video 👀
What month were you there?
Hey! nice video, thanks for showing that places, i think is where i’ll be staying next year.
I see that you went to the beach, is it safe to leave your staff and go to the water? or you weren’t alone?
I felt very safe; I also left my things next to a nice family and didn't go to far away in the water so I could keep an eye on my stuff
@@CrosbyGraceTravels Thanks for clarifying
I was actually wondering the same so glad you asked and Crosby answered!
Nice tour Crosby...Double down on sunscreen!
Always!

Uluwatu ❤
A majestic place.
You are brave Crosby.
Like, soooooo BRAVE!!
Did you use a drone or stock footage ?
I did all the drone shots myself :)
like the TL sunset. would be cool, unless they're against it, to intro your new friend(s) name, maybe a bit about them if they're ok with that. becomes a more personal vlog.
How are the trash issues in Bali? i have seen videos of tons of plastic in the water.
Unfortunately, it's pretty bad and really awful to see. Even in remote places like Komodo NP, there was trash in the water :(
Looks nice
Bali looks amazing
