Having spent the previous generation enjoying the PS4, I opted for the Series X (I originally was a 360 owner) and was AMAZED to see all my original 360 purchases still available and working on the new box. Beyond that, the Series X is pure joy to use. So fast and easy to navigate. Games load and run lightning quick and the Instant Resume is amazingly forgiving even with multiple family members using the console. Maybe one day I might get the PS5 but even friends who have it have used my Series X and all agree it is a lovely console.
The Quick Resume feature is just the best. I know, I feel the same way... and since this video is fresh I'd love to review a PS5. Do I dare yolo even further? Haha. I literally wouldn't play it though.
I didn't talk enough about Quick Resume in this video so I made a quick video about it. Check that out here: ruclips.net/video/k0XGLoZuT1I/видео.html Ahd the TV is linked below (NO affiliate links). Cool I’m loving both my ps5 and series X the same. My ps5 for all the awesome exclusives and my series x for the better performance and resolutions on all the multiplat games, the quick resume is a game changer also and of course game pass!
Why can't they just collaborate already and created the PlayBox, you know!? Haha. I guess competition is good on one hand, but on the other, for those of us who don't have both consoles, we have to choose and miss out on certain features, and that sucks. But yes, the quick resume is incredible! When you have a 5 year old with a very limited attention span it's just the best.
‘Once you bring it home, unwrap it and plug it in, all your regrets will disappear once you start playing’ 😊 I have one and this line almost made me feel like buying another one 😂.. quality NLP right there. Good video thank you.
I got my series x in September. As someone who owned playstation the last four generations i think this is a great change. The two best looking games I’ve played is Modern warfare 2 and The Chant. 2023 is supposed to be a big year for series x exclusives.
That's awesome. I haven't heard of the chant, now I'm going to have nightmares. lol. The systems are all so good now though right? I'm sure you had good times with PlayStation. I loved my PS4 Pro but PS Plus was meh and personally, I do not like the thumbsticks in the middle. I MUCH prefer the Xbox controller layout. And yes, Xbox games will be coming the next year or two right? They've been investing wisely it seems.
COD and Callisto protocol are definitely the best looking games so far. I’m loving my series X rn paired with my 4k tv and soundbar… I love getting home 😂
@@TheSAHDLife bruhhh nice!! The first was the best imo! But you have to try the second at least. And tbh I never played 4 or 5. I didn’t like the main characters that much to play it, since I’m a multiplayer kind of guy.
I just got one 2 recently in a bundle with 1tb ssd, second controller n 2 games and 3 months game pass ultimate code. Just bought an lg 77 inch c2 oled and it's awesomeness paired with the series x! My xbox one is so slow compared 2 the X, it's definitely a huge upgrade!!!
@@TheSAHDLife Been playing resident evil village and evil dead. I ordered evil west and callisto protocol, both games look sick! I have guardians of the galaxy and dying light 2 snd arkham knights i haven't played yet! Just got my new 77 c2 set up today so haven't had a chance to mess with the settings much and play games on it yet!
@@moparlinke Yes it's great, i have the 77 inch lg C2 oled and the 42 C2 oled as my pc monitor! Fantastic tv's! The series x is great, you will love it!
Want to make a quick correction for you in case you didn't know, you can use any SSD or even a traditional HDD to install games to as long as the games are not specifically made for the series consoles you can play them off of those with no problem If the game is specifically for series consoles you'll need to transfer them back and forth from the internal drive to the SSD but that still significantly faster than having to download them again. I recommend the Samsung T7, Cheers!
Thanks for chiming in! It would be SO disappointing to buy a hard drive and not know that... You would think this day and age you can just plug and play any hard drive and get the full features. Cheers!
@@TheSAHDLife One addendum is that the Xbox Series consoles allow games for the previous generation of consoles to install automatically to whatever HDD you have connected to the USB port. Those who are moving up from the earlier Microsoft consoles likely already have an external drive, so plugging it in is all that needs to be done.
@@TheSAHDLife I do wish they let you plug in any old nvme SSD that fit the minimum speed requirements like Sony does. That said, games for the new consoles have SSD requirements as they enable faster data asset streaming to feed hungry GPUs that can process very high fidelity assets. Hard drives and slower SSDs can actually be a bottleneck for streaming these higher res assets.
Yep, what I did to save money, was use my PC external drive dock, and use whatever old PC hard drives or SSD's I have laying around or collecting dust. Sure it's slower, and some you can't play off the drives with some games, but It does re-use hardware you already have.
I have to commend you. You hit the nail right on the head with this video. I usually buy new consoles 2 to 3 years after release. I do this on purpose so the companies have time to work out technical glitches and give added features that were not available at launch. These factors make it even sweeter when you get a bundled deal that did not exist at launch. Most console manufacturers release games for the last gen hardware at least 2 years into the new consoles life cycle anyway. 🤷 The Series X is an amazing console. And you are absolutely right when you made the comment that it's not 2015 anymore. Sony makes great exclusives but there are many 3rd Party developers who now make games with that same quality. For every PlayStation exclusive you can name I can find something comparable as either an Xbox Exclusive or a 3rd Party. FUN FACT... Over 70% of the games bought on a console are 3rd party. It's the majority of what most people play anyway so why not get the best deal on it. Great Takes and keep up the good work. 👍
Phew, I'm so glad others agree, I was nervous! Really appreciate your comment and that's a really interesting fact. Are you playing anything fun at the moment?
@@TheSAHDLifeThere are many Platform Enthusiasts out here that won't agree with you. They are called Ponies. Lol. I'm a multi platform gamer and have been gaming since the Magnavox Odyssey. I love PlayStation games but somewhere around The Last of Us on PS3 the games started having the exact same formula. No one can honestly deny the strides Xbox has made. GamePass is a game changer and the Series X hardware is second to none. All they need to do is nail these major exclusives next year and there will be no denying them. 🙂 Right now I'm trying to finish Mortal Shell before it leaves GamePass months end. I'm excited to give Gungrave GORE and Warhammer Darktide 40k play as well. There will be no shortage of games this holiday season. 👍
Really liked your video. As a dad for two amazing daughters, I find it really hard to find free time with no TV taken to enjoy some light gaming and not being tired. But recently I found out you can stream your Series X directly to your phone via the Xbox app on Android. So instead of taking up the only TV we have at home [and hear my wife and girls complaining that they want to watch lol] I just sit on the sofa or lie in bed and use my phone with the Xbox controller to play.. Yes it's not 4K but it's so comfortable XD
Another double daughter dad?! Nice to meet you! Although judging by your profile pic you somehow managed to keep more hair than I did, lol. I don't think I quite realized it could do that. Innnntersting. Thanks for the share! And I know, my goal is to beat a game (playing The Ascent at the moment) and I play in like 20-30 minute bursts... it's going to take forever. I mean I jam different games with the kids but I want to get IN to a game and it's hard because I'm so exhausted from dealing with kids or putting effort into my RUclips channel. It's pretty cool that this video has gotten a lot of views though, and everyone watching seems really cool! Sometimes video game related videos can bring out the trolls with pitchforks lol
The picture was taken over a decade ago (But I'll take compliments where I can get them ;)] Trolls with pitchforks is the RUclipsr occupational hazard but I don't think you should pu5 too much mind to it. Just do what you love and you'll gather like-minded followers :) The Ascent is an awesome game. I am really fond of the action RPG genre and this hits the spot with awesome graphics. If you're into games to play with the kids I suggest checking Super Lukcy's Tale and also Disneyland adventures. Both on gamepass.. for games that can satisfy you're awake "free time" there's the new Teenage mutant ninja turtles game which is great and Forza is also a good racing game to jump into. For heavy action I really enjoy Rage 2. It's an open world post apocalyptic first person shooter which has quite a lot to do in it but works best (for me) for short 1 hour bursts... specially with the quick resume feature you can juggle several games at the same time without the hassle of a loading screen. Looking forward to your next video :)
Great recommendations! I know it is definitely scratching the arpg itch although games like Diablo and path of exile I have sunk the most time into... We've got the tails one on there but my littlest is just loving psychonauts 2 right now, plus Roblox is free to play so they're loving that also. I remember trying rage when it first came out but I haven't tried the sequel maybe I'll have to check that out. Oh yeah and we've been jamming shredders revenge as well. All four of us including the wife love that one.... I play Battletoads when it's just me and the girls lol
I used to have a PS5 but traded in and went with the Xbox Series X. The only thing about the PS5 is the exclusives. Had a blast with it, but I did grow up with Xbox. Can't wait to see what is in store for me.
It's a shame they can't just jam them together and create the Play-Box or X-Station, lol. I hate that we have to choose.... because I want to play some of those juicy PS Exclusives, BUT, I love the flexibility of game pass and having Dolby Atmos is pretty sweet too. You playing anything fun?!
Love this video. So real. I come from PS4 and got the PS5 first. But when I got my hand on Xbox Series X + Game Pass … wools it has been amazing. I get access to games I have never played or heard before. Either short and quick games. Or long open worlds like No Man Sky. Quality and Speed of loading is outstanding (comparing it even with PS5)
Thanks for the great comment. And you're right... when I'm going through the list of games on game pass... each time I'll find something else where it's like, wow I could dump hundreds of hours into that one game alone. Someone in the comments was listing a bunch of games I'd never even heard of and they look incredible... l like: A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Grounded Glad to hear I did it justice!
Me myself having 2 kids, family and all. Owning X360 and PS4 Pro, waited 2 years this generation and went with Series X eventhough I wanted a PS5 aswell. Microsoft has really done a great job with their service and console! Sony has great games but the price is so high and feel that X has better deal, slightly stronger and gamepass! Well done Phil Spencer! :)
Right? And I definitely agree with you. There's going to be some people that work night shifts and all they want to do is play Red dead Redemption 2 or just one epic game... I can see them not wanting to pay for a monthly subscription and just play the game, beat it, then buy one when they're done. But for a lot of us that shared a console with other people it's just such good value
One thing people fail to mention is audio. The X box supports Dolby atmos audio. For those of us onto home theater, it’s a game changer. It takes the immersive factor way up. In fact it’s more home theater centric in general. The X box is a great streamer, as you can stream on most platforms in the highest audio and video quality. ( Dolby atmos and Dolby vision)
Ohh yeah that's a great point! Does PS5 really not support that? I just did a quick Google and it doesn't seem like it... wow, that really surprises me. What's your sound setup like? As you may have seen, I recently got into the Sonos ecosystem which sounds great. Can't wait to crank it up! Any fav games that really take advantage of this?
Dad of 3, don’t game so much as when I was younger but just finally got my hands on this hulk of a machine, it was recommended to me by a colleague. Money well spent man. The performance and quality feels very good. The Forza game looks astonishing on this. Just picked up that Elden Ring game also recently and the quality is outstanding
Oh nice! Yeah it's quite the upgrade to the old consoles eh? And Elden Right, sick! Good luck with THAT one haha. I played the first 3 Souls games... not sure if I could handle another one (though it looks INSANE!).
Yeah the Xbox One was sweet... I had a pretty slate blue one my friend sold me. Loved that thing. Microsoft has been doing good things! Thanks for watching!
Microsoft online came in clutch I got my xbox series x bundle early October 2022 I upgraded my first xbox ever the xbox one s I been with xbox for four years & I put my series x right next to my PS5 enjoying both worlds I grew up with playstation since the 90’s.🥂😎
Fantastic video. You’ve really whetted my appetite for the Series X. I’m hoping to get my hands on one for Christmas. Game Pass looks to be incredible value. I’m also upgrading from a PS4 Pro, which is a terrific console. Not sure if there’ll be a significant leap in graphics, but I can’t wait for the incoming Series X games in 2023. Thank you for your excellent work. 🙏🏻
Heyyy thanks for the positive vibes :) Really appreciate it! And yes I came from the Ps4 Pro myself. That WAS awesome like you said but these new Xboxes are on another level. You will love it!
Love my Series X! By far the best consoles I've bought. Most expensive, but definitely has been worth the money. Love how fast it is, how super quiet it is, and how good it makes my older 360 and Original Xbox games look. It makes them feel brand new! Love this thing a lot
Oh yeah good call about the older games! Do you have any favorites in particular you go back to? I need a good game to play :) It's been awhile since I did this review and I still feel the same!
I was lucky enough to get one preordered and get it at launch, I also have a 55" 4k tv, though it's a 2016 model so it also doesn't support HDMI 2.1 for the 120hz, but it does have HDR. I also have the PS5 and nintendo switch. I do love Gamepass the most for all the options between them.
Game pass is just so awesome when you've been out of gaming for awhile. I love our Nintendo but it's so fricken' expensive to take a chance or a game we may or may not play... I'd love to try the Mario golf and soccer but together that would be like $200 CAD. At least you know with the PS5 exclusives they are going to be awesome. But yes, game pass just makes the Xbox the one to have for me! Thanks for watching!
I’m the same, I have a 7 y/o and a 2y/o and have t been able to play games for at least 7 years. I still run the original 500gb xbox one. Honestly it works great still and can play most game titles when I want to. However my older daughter is starting to want to play and is learning so I think it’s time for the new series X!
Oh it's fun gaming with the kids. You'll love the Series X, it'll scratch that itch for you but involve the kids enough so the wife won't be mad heck she might join you! We got 4 controllers and all of us play.... Totally Reliable Deliver Service is a fun one ...Goat Simulator the kids love, and TMNT, Battletoads etc... heck if they're in to Disney / Paw Patrol, it's all on Game Pass. Hope you get it!!
gotta admit. Used to be team playstation, as in die hard ps. But i got the xbox one x, then the series x. Its so much better, especially bc i have a gaming pc. The 2 pairs perfectly. Played Halo Infinite on my pc with my friend, told him im gonna switch to the series x and so seamlessly smooth. Thats nothing fancy, but gotta admit, its nice to have. Since they have the xbox app on pc, theres so much you can share between the 2 platforms, again nothing fancy, but nice to have.
And that's just it right, it's the little quality of life improvements like cross-platform saves and quick resume etc... it's funny that Xbox has zero VR ambition it seems but who really cares about that. I'm really happy with it overall too.
@@TheSAHDLife I'm glad they don't focus on VR. Xbox should stick to what makes Xbox, xbox. Not follow trends. Just like Nintendo, they established their own identity, with zero interest in mimicking xbox or ps. Ps n xbox should do the same.
LoL picked up the Series X a week before it went on sale for $450. N for someone who hasn't been hardcore into gaming for couple years, Game Pass is going to be your absolute best friend!! You have 400+ games to check out, and really about 100 games that you really should play through. Play the PS exclusives when they come to PC in a year.
Good call about the exclusives coming to PC lol. And yeah Game Pass is absolutely nuts for me... it's almost too hard to make a decision! And how funny how that goes when you buy something then the price goes down.
You can go to library then games I got and it show u all the game pass games and u can filter it to get a better understanding of the games u like like u can pick co-op or adventure etc
Gaming isn't the same as it used to. My kids are starting to game with me... hopefully I can play some great co-op games with them more in the future. Are you playing anything these days?
Haha thanks for watching and the support, it's really appreciated. I actually have two daughters which is great because daughters are much better than I could have ever imagined, right?! Welcome aboard!
@@TheSAHDLife it was indeed! Hahaha. I’m blown away by how insane the graphics are nowadays. I just got it yesterday so mostly downloading and trying new stuff, i loved “Ori - The Will of the wisps”
Tempted to make the switch, but still loving my ps4 pro… it has to be done at some point though. My kids still use the Vr, so another reason not to change just yet
What is the VR like? I'm sure you've tried it 😂 The PS4 Pro is still just awesome but yes, the Xbox definitely feels like a step up. Game Pass just makes the experience so good. That alone I feel makes it worth it. Plus you can still do the Xbox Game Pass trick and save a couple bucks ;)
Most games on either the PS-5 or SX run at a upscaled 4K@60. There are a few games with a performance mode but very few that actually run a Consistent 120 and if they do your trading off resolution. That's why I'm not going out of my way to buy a TV with HDMI 2.1. 4K@60 FPS is good enough. Playstation recently did a patch that allows compatibility with 1440P PC monitors and more importantly compatibility with 21:9 ultra wide monitors thats really a huge benifit for FPS games I wish Xbox would do the same . Also I wish Xbox like Sony would make a VR headset for the Series X considering it has that 12-TFLOP GPU . As far as storage goes I only store S/X Enhanced games on the internal SSD and all the other Xbox games and 360 back compatibility games on a external HDD . I only paid retail $ 500 plus tax for our Series X and PS-5. I just was patient about it and refused to pay above retail or one of those rip off bundles were they throw in a cheap headset and a rubber cover for your controller and expect you to fork out a extra couple hundred or more.
lol it's how they get some I guess eh?! And don't those headphones just plug in to the controller? Eww. I am sad I can't bluetooth connect headphones other than the Xbox ones to the system. HUGE disappointment. I can plug in old headphones to the controller but who wants to be tethered! And those are interesting points about the compatibility. Interesting how each console does things so similarly but yet focuses on very different things as well.
There's a lot of games you're missing out on by just playing the game pass catalog You've got to look for the online store and save your money up and get what's not on the Catalog
I've expanded storage by buying a 4tb Seagate Hard Drive. You can transfer Series enhanced games back and forth in minutes and play all last gen games directly off the hard drive.
@@TheSAHDLife 60-30 gigs or less transfers really fast. The Seagate 4tb hard drive is a perfect solution for storage. I got mine on sale at Game Stop for $80. It was a great deal.
Hi there, I'm a seasoned console gamer, I own every PS and XBOX console ever released including the PS5 and Xbox Series X. I agree with ALL your comments re Microsoft, the Series X and Game Pass...I have a 65inch 4K TV and also play multiple games at the same time. The Xbox Series X is simply a gaming beast!! 👏
I don't collect many things but I have quite the graveyard of old consoles myself. I have sold a few in order to upgrade so my collection is not as nice as yours but something about seeing those old consoles just makes me smile. Although I think it might be time to dust off rock band soon... Lol You know I miss the camera on the Xbox One that was awesome. It was so good for just dance games for my kids and other interactive games that got my parents involved. I wish they kept that going.
Gamepass saves a lot of money. People will say it has mostly older games but there are plenty of current gen games that are great on it. Death loop and Plague Tale Requiem would cost $60-$70 each on PS5.
Plus with EA included in Ultimate you get the sports games right? That's something PS does not have. Imagine you wanted a Fifa and Golf game how much you'd have to spend on PS... that's like a year of Game Pass!! lol
It depends who prefers what but for me who likes indies, mid tier as well as AAA games game pass has a selection of games which justify the price. Not to mention that subscription is not something you have to have all the time. Let’s say someone buy a few single player games on disc and want to play these. You can skip paying subscription for a few months.
I'm still rocking the Project Scorpio Edition One X. Holding up pretty good. Would love to have the Series X. Somewhen I want to PS5 just for The Last Of Us.
Haha I remember when the Scorpio was announced... that was a head of hair ago almost haha. You know, The Last of Us Games are just so good. The 2nd one really stuck with me. I think it'd be buying and selling (at least a used Ps4pro) just to play it almost... it'll be available on PC in the near future at least.
I've just got a Playstation 5 as it's compatible with my PSVR and my 40+PS4 games the only thing that's stopping me from getting any xbox console is the lack of VR support on the platform
You are the first to mention the VR... and that's something I'd LOVE to try but never have. It's good? Are there any games in particular you'd recommend? I think all the consoles are so good nowadays more people would be happy with any of them.
Yes! It's crazy to me that some people aren't that impressed with it. I mean of course it's not perfect but... Well I think it's just awesome! Do you recommend anything fun?
Awesome video! You hit some great points that 99% of reviewers don't talk about.. Real life thoughts and considerations here. Most reviews are tech/spec based. Your perspective on todays gaming, xbox, and gamepass was super fun! Thanks again for that!
Aw thanks for the great comment, you made my day! I do my best to not necessarily talk about technical specs but more about real world usage and benefits... And value. While my video topics are a little bit all over the map I have a very soft spot for Tech and gaming reviews and hope to do more in the near future! Thanks for watching and the support 👊
@@TheSAHDLife Same! I am actually starting a RUclips channel this week hehe.. I have a similar perspective as yourself. Thanks again for inspiration. Also, picking up an xbox series x today finally!! (before the price bump tomorrow) :)
Awesome man, love to hear that! Best of luck to you. I have a lot of information about my RUclips journey and tips on finding your audience etc on my other channel... The SAHD Studio in case you want to check it out. And happy gaming! 👊
I am in the exact same situation as you, even older, except Fallout 4 PS4 was my last game... I am a Bethesda addict... so... which console to buy question is non excistent 😆 Will hang a 50inch Oled above my bed, those things cost the same as a 75inch bargan but the graphs are insanely beautiful
Ohhh yeaahh Fallout. You know, to be honest, I never played Fallout 4. Was it awesome? I played Fallout 3 and loved it. Then I played Fallout New Vegas. Then I had kids! lol And OLED for sure. We have one in our bedroom and it's just gorgeous in the dark. Yeah an OLED and a Series X. That's a good time! What will you play next?!
@@TheSAHDLife Fallout 4 was my all time Bethesda favorite, but yeah everything was great in his own time of course... Well I have nothing atm to game for like 6y? Will get the X for sure. List: Starfield Forza 8 Elder scrolls 6 GTA6 Those 4 alone will keep me busy for 2 decades at the amount of time I come to gaming 😆 Never got that Game pass thing.... Maybe retarded question, but if I have a gamer pass, does that mean I can play all above games without extra cost?! 😲😲😲
@@CarChrisMC No bad questions! And yes... as long as you pay and the games are on game pass you get unlimited access. I'm not going to go too deep here but I suggest you Google xbox game pass trick and see where that leads you ;) Oh man, those are some games!! I mean they aren't out yet but soon... what will be first, Starfield? Ya check out the current game pass library and that thing I mentioned 😁🤜
I'm sorry, but those exclusives are SO worth it dude. You're definitely missing out if you're not playing the PS games. That said, I'm definitely going to get a Series X for the new Bethesda titles. Plus, I'm sure my wife will find something to play on Gamepass once in a while (:
You aren't wrong. I had the PS4 Pro for a little while and got to play SOME of the Sony stuff I had missed out on (Uncharted, Last of Us). Sadly I didn't have too much time (Never played GoW, I tried to), but there seems to be enough on Xbox to keep me satisfied, for now!! Yeah Starfield will probably keep us all busy for awhile eh?!? Plus you guys could play It Takes Two if you haven't already (free on GP!).
I just got mine as an early Christmas present from the misses excited was an understatement lol I got kids aswell bro the console is amazing on a 4K TV! Peppa Pig ain't a bad game haha
Haha we have a snow day today, maybe we'll have to jam it... although I've been making my kids play Diablo 3 with me lol. "Ok kids this is like Peppa Pig but instead of pigs it's demons and instead of feeding them we'll be slaying them!" Lucky guy though, sounds like you've got an awesome family.

Loved the video and you got a sub 👍.. I've never really been loyal to either brand. I've had consoles from both and currently own both the XSX and PS5.. Although also being a dad with more limited time, I've been tempted to sell the PS5. It really is so much more expensive to own than the XSX, and I've not been impressed with Sony's approach to this gen.
Thanks for the support and welcome aboard! Glad to have you :) Have you ever messed around with the VR side of the PS? It's one thing I've always been curious about. Maybe in the new year I'll dabble, though I don't really have the time. It sure would be interesting if Sony made their online service much better though wouldn't it.. do you think the hardware is close enough between the two? It's more about controller / game preferences?
Wow your presentation on RUclips is the 2nd to none. So What tv do you recommend to run the xbox x or ps5? I have a 55inch LG oled but I think 85inch tv will make the experience different.
Well thank you for your comment! I work really hard on my content so I very much appreciate it. You made my day :) I have a 55 inch LG oled too and we just upgraded our family room TV to the 75" Samsung LED I mentioned in the video. It is cheap as far as big tv's go but honestly I am extremely impressed with it... however it's not as clean as the OLED. But I mean, can you even imagine the cost of an 85" OLED? lol, oof! That'd be so sick though. The big size really is nice though. I think any panel would be pretty awesome as all the new LED/QLED etc.. are really great, but you'll never beat OLED for gaming.
By the way. I have a external HDD. The Xbox one games can go right on that. The optimized X/S games have to go on the internal HDD. Alot of the games on gamepass aren’t optimized for Series S and X so any old external HDD will do just fine.
That's dope but I imagine there's been a few people who just bought a hdd without knowing the optimized games wouldn't go on it... that could be frustrating but I think MOST people would figure it out before they bought one, hopefully!
@@TheSAHDLife I didn’t know before hand. Of course Microsoft is pushing the overpriced HDD. I had one lying around and just plugged it in. All my kids, and last gen games, are on there. So we have 40-50 games at a time on my Series S. also, people tought that only 2 or 3 games could be on the quick resume for the S at one time. Huh huh, it varies but it’s 5 or 6 usually. I’m going to eventually upgrade to a Series X for the same reasons as you, but for now I’m very very satisfied with my (super cheap) Series S! It upscales to 4K! So my eyes and wallet are happy!
Seagate sells a 5TB HD for 100 bucks and it works fine. I store all my games on it. I only keep the games I play most on the internal drive. Use your noggin people 😘🤪
I think it would be frustrating for someone who buys a big HD like that then tries to put the Xbox Series X games on there and can't play them. Like you are saying it works, but a lot of people don't use their noggin's lol
I prefer the look of the series x over the PS5. It reminds me of those old Falcon Northwest computer cases or the first computer case I used to build my PC, the Corsair 650d. The PS5 launch model just doesn't look cool to me though I'm sure their newer versions will be better looking to my eyes.
You know, that's an interesting point. There is something to be said about the aesthetic and how it effects the room. I'm getting a little older now and the composition of a room has become more important to me. The PS5 has a Wall-E kind of futuristic approach to the design which I'm not a fan of (WHITE?! C'mon). Whereas the Xbox design has a more confident modern design that fits in as a nice accent piece. I agree with you.
Yeah man I had bought a PS4 Pro to play Last of Us 2. I sure loved that game. Some of the others look great too but I think for people looking to invest in a system and get the best value I think Game Pass is a great solution. PS5 is incredible too for sure. I just wish PS Now was a a bit better. I wonder if they're working on it. They seemed to be working on other stuff instead (VR etc).
Not too thrilled how Dolby Vision isn't supported for most Series X games, even though Microsoft tries to push it. A lot of times I switch to HDR. I still prefer my ps5, even though game pass is really good, if the Dolby Vision issues get resolved, I'd play on the Series X more because when Dolby Vision is done right, it's better than HDR10+
To be honest I haven't spent enough time with high end screens to really notice the differences... and that's GOOD for my wallet hehe. I'm sure once you get the good stuff it's hard to go back. Well I'm learning that with other things. You playing anything fun?
Can you play games off it? I thought I read that it will only work for storage but you still have to move the games back to the main hdd in order to play them? That doesn't really make sense though, lol... let me know!
@@TheSAHDLife it can play all old games not quite as fast loading BUT new XSX games won't run off it iirc. You may want to check the details yourself but it's what I recall. For that you need the internal or expansion card(s)
Right now at Target you can get that Series S for $249 and you get a $50 Target gift card as a bonus. Or if you have to have the X and don’t want to shell out $500 at once, for $35/month for 2 years you get an X plus a game pass subscription, which works out to zero percent interest and a discount on the game pass subscription.
@@ChristopherMarshburn Thank you for the support, it means a lot. This video is getting a lot of attention which is awesome, but not all of them do... so comments like this go a lot way!
My PS5 just suffered a software error which now needs repair, after dealing with Sonys terrible customer service ive been considering jumping ship to Xbox, ive watched a few videos on the Series X but this one sealed it for me. Game Pass is the way to go, Ive had my PS5 for almost two years and Ive only played two exclusive games on it, Demons Souls and GoT Directors cut,a PS3 remake and a PS4 remaster. I have Steam so some PS exclusives I can play on PC. Just dont feel like id be missing much not having a PS5. Plus im pretty pissed mine broke after less rhan two years
Nice! I think you will love it man... I've always loved the controllers more, and now game pass is just so jam packed you really can't go wrong. Especially if you do the xbox game pass trick ;) ;) Let me know what you think if you get one! And... that does surprise me a little bit about your PS5 though. Sony hardware has always been bulletproof for me. The ol' 2, 3, and 4 pro. But I guess sometimes you just get a bad batch? Bummer :(
@@TheSAHDLife Hey. I do have one. My regret was not getting the cheapest one and then buying a large sd card. It is worth getting one at some point. Easy to play 20 mins of something away from the TV. Gamepass works well, involved a little mouse and keyboard work, but it's great playing gears of war on lunch and picking up in the evening at home on the series x.
Yeah that's a sweet setup. For someone who doesn't have a PS or computer I think the Xbox is kinda 2 birds... but for people who have it I agree, it could be redundant. Although Game Pass PC is missing a few games in the Game Pass lineup??
Agree. At least I don't feel like the hardware will be outdated anytime soon though you know? Like even if they released a Xbox Pro version I don't know what would be better about it... it's not like I have a ridiculous TV or anything that would benefit from 8k 120fps or anything
The Series X is where it is at, the Series S is nice but the 512gb is just not enough. I just caved and spent $200 on the 1TB expansion card for my Series X. My Game Pass Ultimate doesn't end until Aug 2024 lol and I only got 80gb left. I don't have a 120hz TV but I don't feel it is really necessary, yet. Most games that it plays at 4K will only be running at 60fps anyways. The next console will definitely make 120hz worth it though I bet! I have a 165hz 1440p monitor for my PC which is close to my TV so I connect it to my Xbox from time to time when I want to play Fortnite at 120fps with my keyboard and mouse haha. My monitor supports Vesa Adaptive Sync, the open standard. Both Gsync and FreeSync work over DisplayPort and FreeSync also works over the whopping 3x HDMI ports my little 27" monitor has. Not sure why they gave it 3x HDMI and only 1x DisplayPort. I would rather have 2 and 2 for if one stops working or gets damaged.
Yeah good points. Sounds like a fun setup you've got. Is Fortnite worth playing or what? I was never a really big fan of the frantic building aspect. I just didn't have the time to get good so felt so far behind...
I always buy both consoles. Sony just has a few to many exclusive titles I personally play. If it wasn’t for those I honestly would have skipped the ps5.
You know, I was considering a PS5 but they are STILL sold out and to purchase the one which still takes discs it's also a LOT more than the Xbox too. Crazy! 2 years later, still a thousand bucks (CAD) and sold out lol
Personally, I think the XBOX controller is much better the the PS controller. The haptic stuff drains the battery pretty quickly and doesn’t add much. The offset sticks work better for me. For most games, the touchpad is just a giant button that does not as well as a regular button. The built in mike is good in a pinch and the built in speaker is cool, but 9 times out of 10, I prefer the XBOX controller.
I have NEVER liked the dual thumb sticks of the PlayStation. That choice always baffled me. I completely agree with you. And like you said, the ps5 controllers have some fun flashy things but those things come with a cost. I'd rather have more thoughtful design and longer battery life at the end of the day. Though I bet the haptic is cool with SOME games.
As a long time xbox user I need people to understand this, the series S is just as good and trust me outside of a few games you will never care about the fps, I am a call madden,2k,call of duty, fortnite, and pubg players and whatever game is hot on game pass at the moment. The point I am getting at is most gamers player what I just listed and your can get a series S and just go to target and spend 100 with tax to get a 4 terabit sea gate and have so much storage you won’t even know what to do with it all, also xbox controllers have always been the best if you use the one that comes in the box or u buy a good new controller the grip is perfect and it fits everyone’s hands big or small like a glove. The xbox series s will do you just fine and the money you’ll spend on a series x can go towards a series s with the seagate at target it’s white not this black memory card everyone assumes as the only seagate you can buy.
I definitely don't disagree with you. The S is a little beast but you know how people are deep down inside.... they don't want to regret their decision in the future so they spend the extra money just in case. Even if they never use it.
@@TheSAHDLife the extra money is always a good thing because these are systems we will be using for the next 5-7 years so I understand and 100% agree going all out is worth it but tbh I couldn’t find one a year ago and I have had a series s this entire time and it amazing and it looks unreal on my 4k tv but I respect how u feel about the series x it’s a consul I just could not find at the time of my purchase.
I've always been Playstation guy .To me PS5 has better variety of games. But now I discovered the same games what PS5 has and Xbox. One thing I found my self playing Xbox series x.I've noticed motion and the picture is a lot better and Smoother.
Really eh, you've noticed it looks nicer? That's great. I think they are all awesome and each have their strengths, but there's so many little details with the Xbox I'm just super happy with it, even after paying full price for the series X lol
Right? Man my bud just got one (on my recommendation) and is having issues with his account... he can't play ANYTHING. It's a brick. He got to play it for a day so, he saw the value, but now, since their customer service on the weekend isn't great... So yeah, I agree with you!
@@TheSAHDLife .....Sorry but I'm literally laughing out loud, especially the fact he got to play it for a day before they locked him out the account for the weekend 😂...I imagine how he must feel, I'm a truck driver and it sucks to turn on the console and Xbox wants a update or the game I wanna play that I downloaded a week ago requires a update just to play...some of these updates take awhile on a Wi-Fi hotspot 😑, miss those Nintendo days just plug and play.
@@MrChangeordie haha no it's funny, I'm chatting with him right now and he's "this F*&^$ing piece of (#*&@$ brick I can't even play". He's having fun with tech support... I'm starting to suspect it has something to do with his account being logged in to his old xbox one maybe... when gaming goes wrong eh?!
Has it been THAT hard to get, really?! I know the PS5's were sold out forever, but even still? You know, when I went to Bestbuy to get it, the amount of TV's around the store was INSANE. I imagine people want to play next gen gaming on their new TV's...like I did, haha.
Not lying. Just got mine a week ago too. Though to be fair I wasn't trying to get one but another year with my old slow loading X1S was gonna kill me, plus I had been holding off playing certain games because of the poor last gen performance
It felt slow right? I had a dope teal Xbox One S but it just felt sluggish especially in the menus etc.. You happy with the Series X though compared to it!?
I still dont know why people need expandable storage on an xbox series x, like cmon man u have 802GB of ssd, u can play lots of games on that, and when u get bored of one u can always uninstall 2 or 3 of them and get other ones
I'm right there with you my friend, however LITERALLY the last comment on this video talked about how small 1 tb is! To be fair, without knowing their situation, I could see how if you shared the Xbox with a sibling or roommates or something and you all play different triple A games how it could fill up quick. But yeah, I agree with you.
@@TheSAHDLife if you are a normal guy u can play around 8-9 triple AAA games on it without bothering, and cmon, who plays more than 8 games simultaneously?
Humble brag: I'm on my second 😏 I preordered and got an original, then I got the halo infinite one (and also the halo infinite elite series 2 controller 😍) yea, I'm kinda a big deal lol
The thing is I haven't gamed in awhile... so it would be so expensive and confusing to get an Xbox then have to start buying games you know? A $1 trial of Game Pass and I get instant access to everything... it's pretty handy for those of us who have been away from gaming for awhile. IF you have gamed for a long time then yeah, totally, you might not get value unless there's a particular game ONLY available on Game Pass.
In 2023, Microsoft will restrict new 1st party exclusives to XBOX Series X/S. I say that because I still play on an XBOX One X. I will have to buy a Series X sometime in the 4-6 months. Have you tried using a super fast SSD connect via USB or USB C (either internal with an enclosure [more affordable and faster] or an external [more costly and possibly slower])? Is that even possible? In doing this do you take a hit in performance? Please let me know. Thanks! First time watching your content and I like it.
Thanks for watching! To answer your question, no, I have not tried it. The internal hdd has been large enough for me. From what I understand you can do that but it only works to store and play non-Xbox Series S/X optimized games... unless you upgrade to the Seagate ones mentioned in the video. I think for the rest of the games though, no you wouldn't take a hit in performance. I know a lot of people don't like to buy used, but after the holidays is always a good time to shop for great used deals. People upgrade their PC's or, switch consoles and sell their old stuff. You might find a sick deal!
That's a big jump! Why did you switch over? The PS5 looks fun, I really want to try the VR... but I like the controllers, features, and game pass better. So far I'm still loving it!
I think the way it works is, the NEWEST Xbox Series X games must be installed on the hdd. Older games (Xbox One etc) CAN be played off of plug in drives. If you feel like testing it out at all do let me know if I'm right / wrong lol. Because I was just going off what I researched.
I’m happy for you dude , but you could have gotten a Hisense UH7 under a grand and it has the HDMI 2.1 port. Not a high end tv but it’s 4k and has the 2.1 port. Still awesome you got the Xbox. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
Interesting!! Are you talking USD? I paid in CAD which was about $750 USD. But still, Hisense looks like it's got some sick value ...today's the last day of the sales lol. Hrmmm. You got me thinking! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah we have a Switch and I just sold a PS4 pro also. Nintendo just does some games so well despite it's weak hardware. They all rock in their own way though!
I am sure there are plenty of other comments roasting this video for the spot about memory towards the end. And just hearing him say "I don't know if Seagate has a contract with Xbox or what, but they are the only memory card that you can buy" was definitely a No Shit Sherlock, moment. Then he goes on to say that 500 GB cost $250 on Xbox... Yeah no not true at all. It's pretty much $220 for 1 TB of memory, so less money than he said and double the memory from what he mentioned. And also taken to account it is 2 years after these consoles launched, the Xbox Series X and PS5. For the first year Xbox had the much better and honestly the only way to expand the hard drive of either console. It took Sony what felt like forever and was almost a full year before they got the hard drive expansion feature available. And when it was a new feature there is plenty of consumers buying hard drives they would expect to work and end up not working. On top of the fact that a year ago any hard drive, SSD, that had the specs fast enough to be installed in a PS5 actually cost a bunch back then and was very comparable if not more expensive than the Seagate expansion card. But 100% he is right now a days, Seagate really needs to bring down the price of that card by about 30% to stay competitive. And if it was not proprietary hardware for the Xbox only there would be competition to bring down the price. I would expect at the end of next year the contract for Seagate will expire, most contracts are about 3 years for similar stuff. When the contract expires I promise you one month later there will be 5 plus other companies with memory cards for the series consoles that will probably be 120 bucks for a terabyte something like that
A lot of users have mentioned they have big non-Seagate hard drives plugged in to store their non Series-X optimized games, which is a nice feature... but yeah, a hard drive should be a hard drive. I was just bummed to learn upgrading to any 'ol drive won't do when it comes to the Series-X optimized games. It doesn't say anything about that on the sales page!

@@TheSAHDLife Enjoy your XSX you Superdad, your kids will love you that much more.
The Series X is an amazing console.
Right now I'm trying to finish Mortal Shell before it leaves GamePass months end. I'm excited to give Gungrave GORE and Warhammer Darktide 40k play as well. There will be no shortage of games this holiday season. 👍
Very good points. 3rd party games like "Call of Duty", Madden, FiFa, or MK1 are great examples.
The picture was taken over a decade ago (But I'll take compliments where I can get them ;)]
Trolls with pitchforks is the RUclipsr occupational hazard but I don't think you should pu5 too much mind to it. Just do what you love and you'll gather like-minded followers :)
The Ascent is an awesome game.

It's a shame they can't just jam them together and create the Play-Box or X-Station, lol. I hate that we have to choose.... because I want to play some of those juicy PS Exclusives, BUT, I love the flexibility of game pass and having Dolby Atmos is pretty sweet too.

Someone in the comments was listing a bunch of games I'd never even heard of and they look incredible... l like: A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Grounded
Glad to hear I did it justice!
Right? That's pretty much exactly how I feel too which is why I made the same choice! You playing anything fun?
I agree with your take on subscriptions. As long as the option to buy is available this is the future of gaming.
See that's what's up... not picking sides, just enjoying gaming for the fun of it 👌🔥
@@TheSAHDLife indeed🥂😎
@@TheSAHDLife Thank you so much. I love your passion for gaming! 👌
Bro you’re going to make me go financially broke with your content, first the bylt shirts, then the ones where it doesn’t stain…now this, damn lol.
Oh my friend, skip my Sonos videos then! Haha.
Xbox game pass is amazing most of my games I play are on there.😂 Halo infinite, Skyrim, Grounded, State of decay 2 I have such a big amazing list ❤️
Right?! Ohh is Grounded fun?!? I just saw that on GP and was wondering if it was safe to play with kids?!
It's very good and yes definitely play with your kids
You can sort the games better in the games and app’s section and search by co op, kid games, and what not
Oh nice share. Will check it!!
gotta admit.
Love this vid, glad to see other Dad content creators out there! Keep it up
🤛thanks my man. Really appreciate the support!
You can go to library then games I got and it show u all the game pass games and u can filter it to get a better understanding of the games u like like u can pick co-op or adventure etc
Good share, thanks. Will check it out!
As a father of a gamer myself, I understand what it feels like to have a combination of good things and a little bad things
Gaming isn't the same as it used to. My kids are starting to game with me... hopefully I can play some great co-op games with them more in the future. Are you playing anything these days?
Same, one daughter . Love that the kids helped with the Intro. Great fam friendly DAD content. Take my sub sir !!
Haha thanks for watching and the support, it's really appreciated. I actually have two daughters which is great because daughters are much better than I could have ever imagined, right?! Welcome aboard!
Awesome video! Im a dad myself and my last console was a ps1 when i was i kid! Hahaha. Just bought the same setup and I’m loving it.
Thanks for the comment! And wow that's quite the upgrade lol. What are you playing?!
I will have to check when the novelty of game pass wears off. Any games you're pumped about?!?
I've expanded storage by buying a 4tb Seagate Hard Drive. You can transfer Series enhanced games back and forth in minutes and play all last gen games directly off the hard drive.
How long do you think it would take to transfer a game like say, Forza back and forth?
@@TheSAHDLife I'm testing it right now. 25 minutes for 117 gig FH5, and 4 minutes for the 11gig Hot Wheels DLC.
@@TheSAHDLife 30 minutes tops for all that ain't to bad IMO.
@@TheSAHDLife 60-30 gigs or less transfers really fast. The Seagate 4tb hard drive is a perfect solution for storage. I got mine on sale at Game Stop for $80. It was a great deal.
@@cyruss9627 thank you for sharing, I really appreciate that. Seems pretty reasonable. Faster than downloading it right?! Is the Forza DLC fun!?
The menus not being in HDR is actually a good thing for people with an Oled TV. It's less bright, therefor less likely to cause image burn in.
You my friend see the glass half full, and I love that! Good call.
Lol
You know I miss the camera on the Xbox One that was awesome.
Imagine you wanted a Fifa and Golf game how much you'd have to spend on PS... that's like a year of Game Pass!! lol
Oh and good call, I've never even heard of Play Tale. Sick!
I get brand new ps5 games for half price from GameFly
It’s a very good quality review… well-balanced… great job
Thank you! I really appreciate your comment :)
Stoked you are stoked though buddy! I love my series X and got it on launch day
Thanks man. I am. I don't line up for games anymore (I do miss those days) but better late than never right?
It's phenomenal.
Yes! It's crazy to me that some people aren't that impressed with it. I mean of course it's not perfect but... Well I think it's just awesome! Do you recommend anything fun?
My youngest son got an xbox series x I play on his system whenever he gets a new game
Lucky kid! And yeah if you get to play on it then that's awesome... he play anything fun? lol

I am in the exact same situation as you, even older, except Fallout 4 PS4 was my last game...
I am a Bethesda addict... so... which console to buy question is non excistent 😆
Will hang a 50inch Oled above my bed, those things cost the same as a 75inch bargan but the graphs are insanely beautiful
Ohhh yeaahh Fallout. You know, to be honest, I never played Fallout 4. Was it awesome? I played Fallout 3 and loved it. Then I played Fallout New Vegas. Then I had kids! lol
And OLED for sure.
List:
Starfield
Forza 8
Elder scrolls 6
GTA6
Those 4 alone will keep me busy for 2 decades at the amount of time I come to gaming 😆
Never got that Game pass thing....
Maybe retarded question, but if I have a gamer pass, does that mean I can play all above games without extra cost?! 😲😲😲
@@CarChrisMC No bad questions! And yes... as long as you pay and the games are on game pass you get unlimited access. I'm not going to go too deep here but I suggest you Google xbox game pass trick and see where that leads you ;)
Oh man, those are some games!!
"Ok kids this is like Peppa Pig but instead of pigs it's demons and instead of feeding them we'll be slaying them!"

I own the Xbox series x and playstation 5 and i like them both.
Right?! They both seem awesome. Have you played any VR with the PS5?
First video of yours ice seen. You seem like a fun likeable guy and great dad. Happy holidays. I'll finish the video now lol
🤛Happy holidays to you too, and thanks for the great comment, I really appreciate it. 🎄🎉
Glad to have you :)
Have you ever messed around with the VR side of the PS? It's one thing I've always been curious about. Maybe in the new year I'll dabble, though I don't really have the time.
It sure would be interesting if Sony made their online service much better though wouldn't it.. do you think the hardware is close enough between the two? It's more about controller / game preferences?
I love both worlds simple as that got to have both Xbox series x and ps5 if ur gamer
Yeah this is the right answer ...the true gamer!
Xbox not having many exclusives is a deal breaker for me.
Yeah I think a lot of people feel the same way too. Hopefully that'll change soon.
Getting my series x tomorrow. I can't wait! Gonna pull a cartman to speed it up...
So did you get it?! What are you going to play?!
Wow your presentation on RUclips is the 2nd to none. So What tv do you recommend to run the xbox x or ps5? I have a 55inch LG oled but I think 85inch tv will make the experience different.
Well thank you for your comment! I work really hard on my content so I very much appreciate it. You made my day :)
I have a 55 inch LG oled too and we just upgraded our family room TV to the 75" Samsung LED I mentioned in the video.
Are you going to do a video on your 75" tv? I really enjoy your videos.
Thanks for watching and the support, reall appreciate it! And you bet, that video is coming up next!!
So do I after waiting two years got mine yesterday with Xbox all access so happy so hassle at the store picking it up
Time to put some comfy pants on, get some snacks and start gaming like a loon! What are you going to play?
The mafia games again to start on backwards compatibility
You’re 100% missing out on PS exclusives, but whatever helps you sleep at night.
You can play some 360 games on the series x, if you bought the game digitally you can play on the series s aswell
That's dope. Are there any ol' 360 games you still play or recommend?
@@TheSAHDLife I played sonic Sonic unleashed and black ops 2, but I didn't have many digital games back then

@@TheSAHDLife I've been thinking about it all weekend lol .. something beautiful.... Red dead 2 or No Man's Sky and suggests?
I think those are great choices. I'm playing The Ascent right now and it looks incredible! Honestly everything has lol
I bought the Series X, and i´m enjoying it! Such a fun and great gaming console! 😁
Right? Me too. So much to play. You jamming anything fun right now?
Good for you hopefully I will get one soon and see what true 4k looks like don't worry bro we late bloomers always win in the end👍♥️✌️
I hope you get one! It's so fun. I'm jamming The Ascent right now hehe. It's hard to pick what to play there's so much!
You can plug in a 2tb to the series x, I have one and it works with it, you should try it.
Yeah ok that's dope. That is a cool feature to store a library of older games.
I heard you can quick resume between all the games that you never play, is it true?
Na you can only have a limited amount open at once. I believe it's 3 triple A's and maybe 7-8 smaller ones? I've had 6-7 open at once. It's awesome!
Great ideas! Really appreciate you sharing that. I completely forgot that was an option!
Great video by the way. Appreciate the dose of parenting reality 😊
Especially if you do the xbox game pass trick ;) ;)
Let me know what you think if you get one!
And... that does surprise me a little bit about your PS5 though. Sony hardware has always been bulletproof for me. The ol' 2, 3, and 4 pro. But I guess sometimes you just get a bad batch? Bummer :(
@@TheSAHDLife Same here, I've owned every PS console since the original and never had any issues. Thanks mate keep up the good work.
A steam deck with Gamepass on it makes gaming anywhere so true.
Ohh yeah, that would be sweet. Do you have or are you going to get a Steam deck? I'd like to review one but they're not cheap!
I bought a PS5 for its great library of exclusives! And just subscribed to game pass ( streaming cloud) on my PC.. really don’t need a Series X
Yeah that's a sweet setup. For someone who doesn't have a PS or computer I think the Xbox is kinda 2 birds... but for people who have it I agree, it could be redundant. Although Game Pass PC is missing a few games in the Game Pass lineup??
Had mines since April love it just kinda disappointed with the exclusives hopefully it will change this year
Xbox series x is definitely beast of a machine.
I'm loving it. You playing anything fun?!
Hard disk still the way to go! Especially if u don't wanna rely on internet just to play ur digital games...
Late? Nah bro you still early 😂 because most of us still can’t get one lol
@@TheSAHDLife I have a XboxOne S and it’s very slow I just hope I can grab a Series X this December
A great review and just the context I needed as I consider jumping back into console life after a decade. Thank you! Very watchable. 🇬🇧🇬🇧👋👋🇺🇸🇺🇸
Oh, I say … sorry if I waved to you as an American if you a Canadian. My bad. Here’s the correction …🇬🇧🇬🇧👋👋🇨🇦🇨🇦
Don't worry aboot it buddy! 👊😆
@@TheSAHDLife if you are a normal guy u can play around 8-9 triple AAA games on it without bothering, and cmon, who plays more than 8 games simultaneously?
i love my series x its tooo nice.
I'm trying to find things wrong with it, and, I mean there are things not PERFECT but nothing bad. I love it too :)
Graduations to you man I have hola limited edition took me few years get my
I pay $1100
😂I am dom look at my pic
Wow that looks sick though! What are you playing?
Humble brag: I'm on my second 😏 I preordered and got an original, then I got the halo infinite one (and also the halo infinite elite series 2 controller 😍) yea, I'm kinda a big deal lol
that's ballin'! I'm trying to convince my wife we need a second for the bedroom. She ain't buying it....
You playing anything fun?!
I don't agree with the game pass thing I rather have a cd binder full of games
The thing is I haven't gamed in awhile... so it would be so expensive and confusing to get an Xbox then have to start buying games you know? A $1 trial of Game Pass and I get instant access to everything... it's pretty handy for those of us who have been away from gaming for awhile. IF you have gamed for a long time then yeah, totally, you might not get value unless there's a particular game ONLY available on Game Pass.
What is the game @ 1:56
That is Psychonauts 2. Really fun and wacky game! I never played the first one but this one is a blast and the kids even like it too.
@@TheSAHDLife Thanks! That’s something I didn’t think about. I’ll check it out.
Traded in my ps5 for my series S. very impressed
That's a big jump! Why did you switch over? The PS5 looks fun, I really want to try the VR... but I like the controllers, features, and game pass better. So far I'm still loving it!
I plugged in my old external hard drive and it worked perfectly. I didn’t purchase the sea gate hard drive…
I think the way it works is, the NEWEST Xbox Series X games must be installed on the hdd. Older games (Xbox One etc) CAN be played off of plug in drives.
If you feel like testing it out at all do let me know if I'm right / wrong lol. Because I was just going off what I researched.
Ohhhhh ok ok. I went from an Xbox 1 to an S. That makes sense. Money grab for Microsoft lol I get it
16:10 - Pardon my ignorance but why a double sonic boom?
Sorry, not sure what you're talking about!
I’m a Xbox fanboy but I also have a PS4/switch
