I’ve had the Rapha Cargo bibs for quite some time now (about 4,300 Miles in) and they’re still holding up great to this day. Just got the Millie GTC bibs this week and can tell right away that the thickness of the shammy is night and day. Both very comfortable but the Assos shammy is twice as thick compared to the rapha. I will say the pockets on the rapha bib feel more “connected” to your body or tighter to the actual bib, as the Assos pockets are a bit looser. Both are great options.
I have three pairs of the Rapha bibs. They fit just fine but the colour fades far too quickly leaving them looking old after about 15 rides. I do find them very sweaty on hot rides! That being said, I do find them comfortable. After watching this and other videos I have bought the ASSOS bibs. I have only done x2 2.5hr rides in them so far but am really appreciating the quality and practicality of them vs the Rapha. I did buy some ASSOS Mille bibs years ago that faded quite quickly, so will have to see what happens with these. BTW I left a review for the Rapha bibs on their site mentioning the fading. They didn’t publish it or reach out to me. Not good given the exorbitant price tag.
I've had 2 pairs of Rapha's, but Assos is better in every way except style. Assos bibs look great, but Rapha has more and better colors. The pad in Assos bibs support the male anatomy much better, and the fact that it's floating reduces potential chafing. I have the Mille, Equip, and Cento... Honestly just get the Mille or maybe the equip, the cento isn't any better imo.

By FAR The best cycling host on RUclips. SO glad to see the master back!
Awww shucks. Thank you!!
As a Clydesdale rider, the Rapha Cargo Bibs have been the best bibs I’ve used in 20+ years. And the style is always the cherry on top!
Good to see you back Andy. Cheers! 🎉
Thanks! Good to BE back!

Pretty mind-bending to watch a bib short review and recognize a canyon you ride every day.
The timing is perfect, I’m looking at Assos with the cargo pockets for my gravel century rides
For bibs with a back pocket, add a couple quick cold packs, and talk about a fast cool down 🥶

Please review Assos vs Rafa in ladies gravel with a bathroom break please 🙏
What size?
Can you feature "black bibs" brand?
That’s not a brand we offer, unfortunately
Keißbännser 😅
