My big issues with the film- -in spite of its length, very little happened. -the only musical that seemed to contribute anything (at least on my only viewing on the film) was the Joker song in the courtroom where he snaps afterwards -the ending was out of left field, I'd be ok with it if they weren't referencing Heath Ledger Joker (and maybe more buildup towards the execution) -Harley Quinn felt underutilised overall, in spite of being a central character. Got to the end and felt like I knew nothing of her, and she certainly wasn't crazy (as is a constant with all iterations) All in all, I enjoyed watching it once but don't think I could again.
That seems like a very astute and fair evaluation of the film young Tim. I enjoyed it in a lot of ways, but it is in fact flawed is some aspects. Cheers for the insights and evaluation brother!
