Thanks for the review as always! I would have liked a comparison of the same Mini - one printed with the Saturn and one with the Saturn 2 to see the difference in quality between the two machines :)
Thanks for the review. Wish I could go out and get one they don’t ship to Hawaii. So LOL if you want to sell me yours I would be a happy camper. Keep up the good work.
Hi I just got my Saturn 2 and I an going nuts Edward Peak sings your high praises on how you helped him. I see your awesome smooth prints please what settings did you use. I am using Elegoo standard grey.
Honestly, I'm very interested in how the Fresnel lens affects the directing of the light. I'm also surprised how no one thought to look into using these before.
I believe the Sonic Mighty 8k uses a fresnel lens too, the Saturn 2 honestly just looks like a reverse engineered version without some unnecessary features, which isn't a bad thing
They've been used to great extent in the VR space to good effect for years which makes me think this will have at the very least a positive influence on the hobby in the future as we see an expansion in diffusion and distribution of light evolve past the screen and into physical interpretation via lens and such.
How does anti aliasing look on this compared to the mini 8k? I've narrowed my choice down to those 2 printers. From what I've seen anti aliasing works incredibly well on the mini 8k and makes everything ultra smooth. But this looks great value for money and cheaper to maintain. I just can't decide! Lol
Hi, would you please share your chitubox-Settings? I have some issues with my prints on the saturn 2 and can't find the problem. I also use your support recommendation but it doesn't work properly.
Great review. You have me excellent advise on my Saturn S settings and they worked great!! However the supports and model printed but at the very end the model separated from the supports 🤦🏻♂️. Any professional advise what I can do to solve this issue? Thank you very much. I spent well over 1k on my equipment and it’s frustrating 😎
Hi! Really nice video, what resin do you recommend for use in an 8k printer that has a good quality/price ratio? I need one for testing that I don't want to be too expensive, and maybe another more pro for a better final result. Thank you very much, sorry for the offtopic
Can I ask what resin you are using? I got the Anycubic Mono X when it first came out and use the translusent green allot but have problems with bleeding and most prints are just not accurate and don't fit into eachother very well. I want to try out different kinds of resin see if that helps so if you have any suggestions that be great.
do u have a setting video up for this i just recieved mine and im having problems either with my leveling or lift height. basically not sticking to build plate
Hello, can I ask how is Mars 3 after some months of using ? Did "wobble" got worse over time ? Or you had some major problems with it ? thanks for response :)
Check again. I think you'll find that they are only sold out for the "early bird" batch. If you can wait until August, there will be a second batch for $550.
To all print farms and influencers. Are you ready? Im embarking on a 3d print comunity challenge. Name legit print farms. How to show they are legit? A hidden camera for youtube would be entertaining. To sell a 3d print the farm checks licenses and pays royalty to the actual licensed thing owner. Owners payment shows. Easy. It could be a walk in customer or a online order. Failure to license check and pay required royalty is piracy. Pirate farms being closed is a big gain for the honest comunities value jobs and businesses. Now lets see, Name the legit farms? Show the hidden camera footage? Im thinking i might make a vid to sum up results. Whos actually stepping up and name all the companies im sending this to who didnt. Yes that sounds good. I recon 1 week should give the comunity a view on which farms step up and to use.
thanks for the review - always appreciate your pro take on these
Love my saturn 2. Using sirya fast navy grey and got my settings dialed in and man is it a pleasure.
After the shipping fiasco with the Sonic Mini 8K I was able to snag a Saturn 2. Thanks for the fantastic review as always!

I actually ended up picking this up, do you have google drive with all your print specs?
It looks like a great machine! Did you get one of the early Mighty 8k units? I'm curious how they compare. 😃

Great video. About the chitubox settings. Do you tweak them all or just the layer height, exposure settings and bottom layers?
Thank you for sharing, great video :)
Hey 3DPP, what glasses are you using? Trying to find something people can vouch for.

Awesome. Your work is second to none. Is it just my imagination or did the aspect ratio of the video change when you cut to the orange shirt footage?
Where is the warrior woman with the two axes from?
Please post your settings!

Any chance you would do a review of the Prusa SL1s? I'm curious if the other features make it worth the price given it's 4k.

@@3dprintingpro212 THANK YOU!! three straight perfect models in a row! You are a gentleman and a scholar. 😎😎👍🏼👍🏼
any idea if/when you will get your hands on the Phrozen 8k mighty? I am hoping I won't regret pre ordering that instead : /

im using their new resin they released the strandard 8k space grey
Hey does anybody know what resin and what layer height he uses for those results?
what are the dimensions of the machine itself?
Saturn 2 or Phrozen Mini Sonic 8K? If i care just about details/print quality not the plate size? Already got Saturn 1 at home.
If size doesn't matter Sonic mini 8k :)

DUDE! How? The pre-sale starts on the 28th of this month. Only 1000 units are available.
Maybe the 4k version.
Wrong model bro. The one in this video is the 8k res version which isn't even available on amazon just yet
@@herculeholmes504 I understand that. Did you read the OP's comment?
What's the size of the print bed? It looks as tall or if not taller than the mono x which I've got
It's close to the same, slightly bigger. 5mm taller and 22mm wider.
