    Well done! Very impressive work. Just one thing: too many lights are on Titanic. Remember that was half full and light wasn't on in a empty cabin.

    Still miss the passengers. It is so sad seeing the ship completely empty...imagine the rumors of 2200 people speaking together..It was a ship full of life...

    This is what I am looking for. The SS New York incident on her departure. You're the only one who has this one included in the animation. Amazing job! Keep em coming. ❤

    I wouldn’t let my coworkers or managers forget about this. I literally hung a poster in the break room with a picture of the Titanic on it. 😅😅😅😅

    Those passengers that got off in Queenstown (Now Cork), Ireland, are very lucky.

    Nice work! The incident with the New York was front page news in the New York Times on April 11. On April 12 the NY Times editorial page prints a column about the need to study the suction effect these new, very large vessels appear to cause. The previous September, Olympic and a warship the Hawke suffered a collision possibly due to this effect.

      A few slight corrections- the accident happened at 11:40 PM on April 14, 1912, and the tragedy happened at around 2:20 AM on April 15, 1912.

    A mistake, first SS New York nearly collided with the Titanic's port side stern, and only later, as the Titanic made an astern movement and as the SS New York was pulled forward, a photo of the SS New York was made from the Titanic's bow

    One thing I'm curious about is that, from the looks of both the animation and the photos, the New York had started drifting before Titanic had even reached her. So how could her propulsion have caused that to happen?

  • @musicfan5921
    @musicfan5921 10 месяцев назад +1

    So Titanic was indeed too large for Cherbourg? I thought that was a myth and that the reason to ferry the passengers via Nomadic and Traffic was due to turn around time, making it more efficent to let Titanic sit outside the harbour instead of docking and departing from the pier again.

    • @Blue-Star-Line
      @Blue-Star-Line  10 месяцев назад +1

      As in large, I believe the waters were too shallow. For Queenstown, Titanic COULD of docked there but they used tenders as you mentioned, for turn around time, making it more efficient

    By the Vessel NEW YORK breaking its moorings and heading into the path of the departing TITANIC is chilling..... It's as if Fate is fore warning of a bad omen on the journey to New York, co incidentally involving the name of the Vessel NEW YORK.

    Amazing, thank goodness Titanic avoided Oceanic and New York after the last day of Titanic, it’s time for the Life of the Rms Titanic after Rms Aquitania, HMHS Britannic, Rms Lusitania, Rms Olympic and Rms Mauretania, can you do a trailer of the Life of the Rms Titanic, and do the full video soon please 🙏 and next stop Cherbourg and meet SS Nomadic and SS Traffic.
