All claps, you guys did it again, you guys never disappoint, especially for Jack who did not just only animate this but serve well with all shots, anything that would make Olympic and her sisters alive, I’d admit, even I, a not so easily impressed person, got impressed with the visual. Again, you people never disappoint on giving the Titanic community the visuals they truly deserve. i’m super impressed. Truly a wonderful way of making the Olympic class alive. ~Jealouse Statement.
4:52 I was very happy that you recreated this iconic moment of the sister ships together at the shipyard, I hope to also see in future recreations of the Olympic's adventures and misadventures during her sailing period.
I don't know why I get so emotional when I see these ships, but the fact that you guys manage to bring a tear to my eye with every new update is impressive. I can't wait to walk every nook and cranny of Titanic. Please keep this going and tell Kyle to take whatever breaks he needs to keep the passion alive.
Ty for explaining.. I was about to ask that same question, and speaking on paint, would be great to see in future works from THG how things were done on.. sky is the limit folks! Never restraint yourselves.
They should make an Olympic honor and glory game. Where you could see the 1930s Olympic as well, and you could see all of the collisions she had. Now that would be a awesome game!
I’ve always preferred RMS Olympic to her other sisters, to me the Olympic represents how strong British Ship-Building was in 1911. It’s a shame she was scrapped but it provided jobs for 100,000 people. Excellent Video as Always!!
The details are put together so that everything is perfect! I am always blown away with the artwork and animations that it takes to create these ships!
You've nailed the graphics, some shots were hard to distinguish from real-life. It felt like I was actually there, watching the launch way back in 1910.... exactly 113 years later to the day. Well Done for getting this animation right in time for the day she was launched, you've done her an honor and a tribute.
I like the music. Wonderful to see Olympic getting some attention! Seeing this in your video really gives you a sense of how incomplete the ship was at launch time. Interesting to experience.
Imagine a game in which you can create a shipping company, build and customize ocean liners. And also looks this gorgeous. Wouldn't that be a dream come true?
Titanic Honor and Glory, thank you for giving Olympic the legacy and recognition she deserves - she had an incredible career and has been overshadowed by her sister ship for far too long. Thank you!
Excellent animation, the details are amazing! Though I can 't help but question why Titanic was not seen in the adjacent slipway. She was fairly far along in her own construction, as she was launched a little over 5 months later. I'd normally say this is a small artistic detail, but there's a reason Titanic is used a synonym for huge, Cheers!
Titanic's progress showed in this video reflects the progress of the new model they are working on now. It is intentional that it looks so early into its development. Otherwise Titanic's hull was already plated at that time
L' animation du lancement de Olympic est incroyable les graphismes sont magnifique Bravo a l'équipe de Titanic Honor And Glory pour ce travail titanesque tout c'est détail sont si réaliste.
Just astounding! I truly loved this animation you guys! Jack seriously has been a match made in heaven for you guys! These visuals are truly spectacular. They’re simple, yet they have this grandeur to them, it’s honestly hard to explain. It’s truly so amazing to see the Olympic like this! She’s one of, if not, my favorite Ocean Liner of all-time! A story that deserves so much more recognition. On a side note: Kyle always goes above and beyond with his modeling. The gantries, the pier, Belfast itself! Impeccable work, Kyle. 🙏🏻🙌🏻 This was amazing. And I do hope to see more of Olympic in the future! 💙 ~NightsFilms
It still amazes me how Olympic managed to avoid whatever plague of bad luck hit her sisters, Titanic and Britannic. She managed to survive being torpedoed during WW1 and even sank the submarine that did it by ramming it. The Olympic was a true testament to the skill and ingenuity of her builders and designers.
Looks absolutely amazing as always guys. The recreation of that famous photo is also breathtaking. It’s like you’ve found a Time Machine & gone back with a modern camera
How magnificent 😢😢 you guys are tremendous. I love your work. All of you with these animations we get to experience a surreal event from history. All of the realism is beyond uncanny. Thank you for what you guys are doing. 💛🇲🇽 love from 🇲🇽💛
Splendid and absolutely superb! Titanic: Honor and Glory have the Midas Touch. Everything you touch turns to platinum. Thank you so much for bringing that initial triumph of the Olympic Class back to modern audiences. Shipbuilding then was really the creation of a masterpiece, comprised of the greatest innovations in artistic, architectural, engineering ,and interior design. It was a part of global prestige that everyone wanted to be a part of. These gorgeous, handcrafted vessels were the Mission to Mars of their day. Bravo!
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Titanic much further along in construction than depicted here? I have a very distinct memory of Olympic and Titanic in their slipways, Olympic in the fore and Titanic behind. Titanics hull being very much more complete than a keel and some ribbing.
I had the same thought too. There are a few famous images of the two sitting side by side just prior to Olympic's launch and Titanic is in a much more advanced state than depicted here. My theory is that the reason she appears less completed here is that it's an easter egg/progress update from the devs: they are currently in the process of rebuilding Titanic from the ground up again, much more accurate and detailed this time and I remember in their last progress update regarding this, the model had a similar level of completion, probably a bit less, so Im guessing that they wanted to put their current WIP model there to show its progress, even if it's inaccurate for Olympic's launch
@musicfan5921 no offense taken. When I was watching the video I was telling my mom all about Olympics launch. How she was painted white so she would show up better in pictures, how much of a spectacle her launch was compared to Titanics which was more of a "oh well they built another one".
On this day the true unsinkable ship of the Olympic class Sisters was launched, One of the Luckiest and best ships of all time… It was sad she had to go.
Jack if you're reading this, WoW you this is the next Best thing to being there. You caught so many amazing details . What's next perhaps you rendition of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake might give you a interesting historical challenge. 👏
That is a real beautiful shot of Olympic being launched. 👍👍❤❤❤ I already know that she was painted Gray before Black, because it helped her "stand out" in the black and white photographs back then. Just out of my imagination and silly curiosity, if the 🚢 was built in East Coast 🇨🇦, where would she be built and registered "in 🇨🇦"? Just a goofy hypothetical question. If you don't know, I'll understand. Please and Thank you. P.S. What "Gray" was on Olympic as you can see in this video?
Why do I sense we'll get a Britannic launch video in February? And is it just me, or does anyone else want to see an eventual add-on to the game called "Olympic class Explorer" where you can do a tandem transatlantic crossing of all three at once? 😆 Another masterpiece, guys...can't wait to see more!
In what proved a successful publicity exercise White Star had the Olympic depart for Southampton on May 31 1911 the very same day of the Titanic's launch. The Titanic's last survivor, Eliza Gladys "Millvina" Dean, died in 2009 also on May 31st .
All claps, you guys did it again, you guys never disappoint, especially for Jack who did not just only animate this but serve well with all shots, anything that would make Olympic and her sisters alive, I’d admit, even I, a not so easily impressed person, got impressed with the visual. 😢😢😢😢😢
Titanic could be seen but only the kneel was laid down. That's not true
Me too
@JealouseStatement
..Absolutely...They're the ones... . 🤘🏼💙
Titanic
I’m so glad you guys are telling Olympic’s story too!
4:52 I was very happy that you recreated this iconic moment of the sister ships together at the shipyard, I hope to also see in future recreations of the Olympic's adventures and misadventures during her sailing period.
I think it was the time when Olympic lose a propeller blade during a crossing which also resulting delay for titanic construction
For those wondering, Olympic was the first of a new ship class, so she was ceremonially painted white for the launch.
Why in launch white
Actually, she was painted white by the request of Thomas Andrews, so in the launch she would stand out more in the photos.
@@Unopot-y5yso she would be white in photos
Ty for explaining.. I was about to ask that same question, and speaking on paint, would be great to see in future works from THG how things were done on.. sky is the limit folks! Never restraint yourselves.
Well titanic was lunched in black 🖤 right😅
beautiful animation as always. Just one thing, if I am not mistaken at the launch of the olympic, the titanic was already quite formed.
The plating on Titanic Hill was also completed that same day but a lot more internal structural work was needed to complete it. 3:21
The reason for that is to (kinda) show off progress on the alpha model. It's not an accidental historical inaccuracy, it's intentional.
Indeed.
@growlinglucario7922 In my opinion, they want to show off the Olympic rather than the Titanic
I found the Olympic to be rather formed as well
They should make an Olympic honor and glory game. Where you could see the 1930s Olympic as well, and you could see all of the collisions she had. Now that would be a awesome game!
Don’t forget, she also managed to sink a German u boat by colliding right into it. The only ship that has ever been able to do that
More like "Olympic: The Old Reliable"
I’ve always preferred RMS Olympic to her other sisters, to me the Olympic represents how strong British Ship-Building was in 1911. It’s a shame she was scrapped but it provided jobs for 100,000 people. Excellent Video as Always!!

if I ever learn coding I’m going back to this comment
Similar games have existed about modern cruise ships, I'm sure it could work.
Titanic Honor and Glory, thank you for giving Olympic the legacy and recognition she deserves - she had an incredible career and has been overshadowed by her sister ship for far too long. Thank you!

The keel was there, so I imagine Kyle and the rest of the team just hadn;t got round to modelling it yet in the state it was in in October 1911.
Titanic's progress showed in this video reflects the progress of the new model they are working on now. It is intentional that it looks so early into its development. Otherwise Titanic's hull was already plated at that time
I love this animation you should make one of Britannic next
It's really beyond belief that these beautiful ships get to live again. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to these ocean liners.
Astonishing Jack! U never disappoint with these visuals. Absolutely amazing!
Beautiful animation, and love the little recreation at the end of the famous photo of the two sister ships together. Excellent work, as always!
So cool of you guys to show Olympic some love on her launch day!!
L' animation du lancement de Olympic est incroyable les graphismes sont magnifique Bravo a l'équipe de Titanic Honor And Glory pour ce travail titanesque tout c'est détail sont si réaliste.
Amazing! Thank you very much!
Excited to see Britannic's launch.
loved that last shot. Beats all of those "colorized" versions of the real photo :))
Incredible. Do Britannic’s launch as well.
Amazing work! Easily the best animation I've ever seen
Jack did a spectacular job on this animation! Happy 113th old reliable!
That sunshine looks amazing! Well done, all!
Fantastic animation Jack it looks amazing on my new tv Nice to see a video from THG 0:52
The Old Reliable, great animation you guys put a lot of work on
The recreation of that historic picture almost makes me cry, beautiful animation, beautiful recreations, beautiful game.

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful ship
For God's sake, Jack, I'm running out of compliments!
(Beautiful work once again) 👍
I’d very much love to see more animations that chronicle the life of the Olympic, especially her years in Dazzle and the later 20s and early 30s
She also got rammed by a another British ship but yet she managed to limp back to the uk and didn’t sink she was one strong and lucky ship
Absolutely beautiful, that ship looks wonderful. Amazing job on the water.
Beautiful animation of Olympic’s launch! Great job 👏
Looks absolutely amazing as always guys. The recreation of that famous photo is also breathtaking. It’s like you’ve found a Time Machine & gone back with a modern camera

Fantastic attention to details
It's nice to see a video on a ship with a much happier career than her sister vessels. Even the music is more upbeat.
Just one word: AMAZING!
This Is just beautiful and actually emotional. And I am so proud that I have a piece of that ship!
04:53 The most magnificent part of the video, the people must be proud to see this.
This is absolutely the best visuals i have seen in the titanic animation community

She was but the model they used for her in this video is still being made so they could only use what they had ready.
@@BalhaMilan an astute observation
While correct, I cant help but feel bad for Olympic, this video is about her and you're here talking about Titanic 😂, no offense meant!
@musicfan5921 no offense taken. When I was watching the video I was telling my mom all about Olympics launch. How she was painted white so she would show up better in pictures, how much of a spectacle her launch was compared to Titanics which was more of a "oh well they built another one".
Outstanding it looks so real it’s like being there in person.
What a cool moment to recreate! Looks fantastic, as always!
Lovely video and thanks for this launch.
Its looks like real amazing work congrats
Very cool! The event brought to life from black and white photos.
You guys are AMAZING!!! This is fabulous!!
That was a beautiful video
This is perfect! Nothing could be better!
This is beautiful
Awesome animation
Wonderful to see "Oly" getting some love... The old girl did everything that was ever asked of her and then some.
Just wow! As usual fantastic work! Kudos!
Awesome job, as always. Looking forward to the launching of hull 433.
My favourite ship forever ❤
Thank you for such a splendid video. Loved every bit of it.. congratulations 👍👏👏👏
The music is so calming and relaxing
Seeing them both together at the end is mesmerising
Truly amazing!
Wonderful! Beautiful! Thanks, Team!!
114 years later, the ship still inspires us to this day!
So beautiful. ❤❤You guys are something else.
Beautifully done. Thank you.
Wow 👌 just amazing!!! Thank you for the work you guys are doing
The Olympic is my favourite ocean liner.... always will be 👍👌👏😊❤️ What a supurb video!
Well done!
If someone could build these magnificant ships again as return of the classic vessels for their honor.
Honestly all of the videos this channel has made have all been absolutely amazing 😍🤩 ngl
Absolutely amazing, beautiful work as always.
Wow, beautiful work!
Woah! I did not know that cranes already existed back then at those early times, that is new to me now.
AWE-FRIGGIN-SOME!
Wow 🤩 well done! 😱👏🏽😊❤️
Beautiful but you forgot Titanic on the other side

1:38 Titanic as olyimpic was launched, looks good!
Fantastic! One small item, you missed the wood on the rudder at the launching.
The image of Olympic and Titanic together is bittersweet because after that, Olympic would never see her sister again.
Please do an animated video for Titanic’s and Britannic’s launch. This was beautiful
Amazing
