It would be nice to mention the architects - Snøhetta, who designed this restaurant. There's a lot of work and creativity put into a project like this.
@@dweuromaxx I just imagined a barren seafloor behind the glass as all has been eaten :D but cynicism aside, it looks well designed and the chef is passionate, so definitely worth a try 😊
Such a cool design but at such a bad location! Bad visibility and only seaweed to look at. Imagine this at a tropical location with crystal clear waters, coral reef and colourful fishes.
didiandiano no this location is perfect. Very cool rocky landscape and that’s just the North Sea. It’s just different than a tropical ocean but I like it.
I liked the furniture. Specially those chairs. Everything is minimalist, designed to draw your eye to the 1 focus of the rooms - those gorgeous underwater windows. Very well designed.
Dear @Suhail Mohamed - that is absolutely true, the under water restaurant in Maldives was the first - we siad that this one in Norway is the first in Europe! ;-)
Its a cool building but I really hate pretentious restaurants or pretentious food people. Oh yeah spend hundreds and ill give you a small plate of food "art" and you can pretend you're cultured.
I am going to go on a rant here ..I am norwegian , I have lived here all my life and I am getting sick and tired of people talking about Norway like its utopia ..its NOT ..first of all sea food abundance B....LL ..S...T ... there is NOT a huge variety of seafood available to the common person and what little there is is EXPENSIVE , everything in norway is expensive ... The best salmon gets exported so the crappy quality gets sold to us for blood curdling prices ..some parts of norway are pretty .. but where I live and many other places in norway the weather is pretty shitty all year long ..rainy , grey , gloomy , cold miserable and windy ..so NO ..its not paradise ..and the retaurant featured is suuuuuper expensive and most people cannot afford it !!!!! there ..end of mad rant ....
Why... ? It’s an underwater restaurant....sea food . If Vegan then needs to be under ground in soil..or up a tree. Why do Vegans need to tell everyone about it. I eat meat everyone..see how silly that sounds ?

I love the sincerity of the head chef - "what is this? what is that? can I eat it?" :D
And? Would you try it...

0:16 that music does not fit at all
Rome battle music
There’s not much visually happening so I don’t know why they choose that music.
they just want the scene looks epic
I would be curious to try it, if I ever get a chance to travel abroad. It would definitely be a different experience.
Pro trick : watch series on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Makai Stanley yup, been watching on Flixzone for since december myself :D
@Makai Stanley Yea, have been using Flixzone for since december myself :D
Has anyone noticed later in the piece, the audio and the video don't quite sync up?
Thx for your comment. You're right. The last snippet is out of sync. Must have happend during the upload. Sorry for that!
@@dweuromaxx No worries. Still a great piece, it certainly makes me want to visit :)

And there are also already a lot of restaurants like this in tropical waters
I guess it's because I've seen this before ruclips.net/video/yQ9Cj7HWV9I/видео.html
@Kira Alex bygg heller det enn enda en gulldass på Senja. Klart vann og mer fisk er ideelt.
£199 for an unknown 18 course meal - no risk, no fun! I reckon I'd try it if I had the chance.
Very brave @Peter Piper - and thank you for staying tuned, www.youtube/dweuromaxx
Why would you publish a video with the audio not synched with the video.
**FANTASTIC!!!**
A shark looking through the window and thinking: Could i eat them?
This is AMAZING,,,WOW,,,
watching from the philippines,,,💕💕💕💕
Where is the SHARK???:)
I wished the tables were wider and chairs were more that library chairs.
Hahaha... tell the owners... ;-)
What kind of library do you go to where they have custom made furniture designed by world renowned architects?
I want to go there because I love seafood 🦞 and fish on Aquarium
3:00 video glitch?
Look at you eating them brother.. Lol 😂
And tomorrow for lunch we'll be enjoying steaks served outside in the middle of a cow pasture..
hahahahaa pretty fckd up
Lol
First. And largest.
The largest worldwide ;-)
This isn't the first. Here in Maldives, we already have a top class underwater restaurant. You can google it.
Suhail Mohamed It is Europe's first underwater restaurant. Not the first worldwide 😉

1:56 Eng. "Wonder". Nor. "Under".
Looks pretty cool, but those walls would trip me out. I'd rather eat on a boat and be less seasick.
The case when the building is matter.
This has gotta be fucked up for the fish. Your eating fish, in its own environment 💀
Is this one of those places where you get a tiny piece of meat and a spoonfull of sauce with garnish? 🤣
If you would order a whole menu you'd certainly be satisfied. 🍴🍷
@@dweuromaxx yeah at those prices lol too expensive ..way to pretentious
So heres the thing, i have worked here🤣
What’s the best dish?
and ???
i am shocked they don't rename it NORDSTREAM 2.
Ouch, lost in translation..:
Sea wheat = sea weed
Taxing = texting

Problem is there's nothing for veggies or vegans who just want to enjoy looking at the fish
Nice voice over 😂🤣
Tedious. “Ooh, look at is! We are so novel.” Yeah.
Ok wtf is it with large underwater things in norway
FishTail ?
