Susie, wishing you the best with your re-claimed window greenhouse build project :) And thank you very much for the kind feedback, very much appreciated!
You did an awesome job Chris. Really looks nice. Excellent job on the frame work and entry stone work. I could tell at about 6 minutes into todays video, your Appalachian weather is exactly what it is in north central West Virginia, never know when pop up rain shower is gonna happen. Our weather pretty much all summer long has been just like that. I guess we should be thankful for the rain. LoL.
@@TryNewThings lost a bunch of trees in the woods behind the house and a few out front. Nothing serious. Power was out for only 18hrs. Some places in Halifax and espically Cape Breton and SW Nfld still without. Power crews rolling in from Ont, PQ,ME & VT to help out
Do you have a video showing how polycarbonate is looking now? We have cedar structure up, next step is the roof and walls. We're out in VA, and can't wait to finally have a controlled environment...
I sort of do. Basically looks just the same but I do show it in this video when up looking up at the ceiling. TNT #212: One year review of Greenhouse Build ruclips.net/video/LBk3OF6vMOo/видео.html
Tried to line up the rafters with the vertical seam locations. Did not account correctly for the piece thickness that joints one sheet to the next. So I was out a half inch for each subsequent sheet (if I did not trim them)
@@TryNewThings THs is the exact thing I was needing to hear. Thanks. These companies that sell the plastic have minimal information on rafter spacing, I h=guess if a person uses purlins, they can get away without the company's information. Thanks again !
@@TryNewThings Thank you very much for getting back to me. I've been looking on Lowes website but for some reason they are out of stock on all Tuftex products which stopped my search with them. My next move is to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help. Thank you again!
Very nice job! I'm getting ready to build a window greenhouse from salvaged windows so this was very helpful. Thank you.

"Pride of craftmanship" trumps "over budget" every time. And for a bunch of oddball sized free windows....I think you made them work GREAT!!!
Getting closer to done, hopefully the outside will be complete by the end of the weekend... then I can go back to working on the zipline :)

Very wet summer here, but not complaining. Didn’t have to water any plants hardly at all this year.
Your detail makes replicating your build dare I say easy. Well done sir and the greenhouse is looking awesome.
Why thank you Mr Nevin as always.
Looks amazing! Nice work, sir.
Thanks DY, I’ll reserve final judgement until the boss / client / wife signs off on it at the end of the project 😉
Looking fablous Chris! Cheers from NS :)
JWM did y’all get hit hard with that storm where you are at?

My family apparently got away unscathed in Moncton area.
Thank you that was very helpful!!!
You are very welcome. Thanks for leaving the positive feedback!

Looking good 👍 I'll pay you 2 beers per hour if build one for me 😆
Careful what you promise, I work slow, I think this is month 3 working on this thing. 😉
Can you tell me what you used for the ridge cap? I'm installing the same polycarb panels but no one can tell me what to use on the ridge. Thank you!
Hello there. Hope this ridgecap link posts. www.lowes.com/pd/Tuftex-1438H-18-in-x-51-in-Polycarbonate-Roof-Panel-Ridge-Caps/1000487255
