I've got a BPU v160 supra right now and trying to decide which route to go so this was a helpful vid! Don't want it to be a race car like yours but just 650-800. I've got that same TRD tach also, shoutout to the OG previous owner. Talked to Dynosaur about doing the work but open to other options in DFW if you know of any, I'm not looking to do much of the work myself.
Dynosaur is it man. I trust Clint’s word 💯. The 6 speed supra I have is more “budget”. Would you like a price breakdown on that? That’s a 6-800hp Supra.

Definitely understand where you're coming from.... Still expensive but when you do it over time and you're the builder it's not as hard a hit like dropping it all at once. 100k really isn't that bad. A new car is 60k and a new base model 2023 Nissan r36 is $116,040. Basically it's the same as saving up and buying a new base model supercar. The thing that makes supras super expensive is shipping parts from Japan. Weather that be oem, body kits ect thats were the brunt of money goes.

Man dude a mk4 supra is very tempting to have. I bought one of my dream cars recently and it's a z32 300zx twin turbo. Its bone stock so it's literally impossible to find a cheap stock 300zx in good condition. But would you say a supra is worth it?
Honestly bro, I say it’s worth it for those who truly love the MKIV Supra. And plan to keep it for a long time. If it’s just a car you “like” maybe not cause they are so expensive.

@@boostedproject Thanks again for the reply. I ask because I'm in the market for a special car. Thinking Supra/C6 ZR1 and I'm guestimating where they will fall. Would be looking for a fully built no corner cut car.
@@Svtcobra60 I was in the market for a ZR1 myself a while ago and those also went up in price by a lot. If you want a very nice taken care of fully built no corners cut MKIV Supra or ZR1, I would say you could be spending around 80-100k easy.

Yup that's what I was expecting, 80-100k. I'd pay that for the right car
@@Svtcobra60 I think they are honestly of the best sports vehicles ever made. You can’t go wrong with either. Both highway kings that’s for sure. ZR1 does have a lot better brakes but comes at a cost (literally). But I don’t like the heat soaking issue. Turbos are great but sucks because of boost lag. Both have pros and cons. Im a huge turbo guy so I took the Supra first. Vette will be next. Lastly I think they are both good investments that will continue to appreciate.
