@@Th3_0_h8 that's actually pretty accurate - your stock ecu either isn't going to know what the fuck to do or you'll be running too rich to even use them. i'd do a lot more research into the basics of modifications and tuning before embarrassing yourself on the internet.

Must be pure Chinese cloned parts he had in mind
Yeah parasitic loss is definitely a thing but it’s not as bad as people think it is. It’s not a 25% 30% loss as that doesn’t make any logical sense. You would lose more power the more power you have though the drive trains are the same.. it’s more like a 40 to 50 hp loss through drivetrain. And of course what wheels/tyres you’ve got on the back would affect that too. So if he’s making 1600 at the wheels he’d be making between 1650 and 1700

Hahaha, I have a lot of practice with it. Not to mention I’ve owned it for 9 years now and bought it stock and progressively modded it. It’s gave me time to get use to all the power levels

They told me my Hybrid WaterCooled Air intake i built for my Turbocharged Elantra Sport wouldn't work. My IAT would never get cold because of engine bay Temps. Now I have built the world's first Hybrid WaterCooled Air intake system. My IAT temps were 35°F on a 70° degree in Texas. When I tested with my temp gun. I done videos already but haven't posted yet. You have inspired me appreciate video

“We did the speed limit”, that’s hysterical. Amazing it stays strait when both back tires are laying rubber down. I’m sure there are subtle adjustments you are making at the steering wheel based on skill and experience however the setup of the car is a huge factor.

Your comments about the AEM V2 resounded with me! I've heard the same things about my drag Civic. I run a Hondata S300, which is a ~$400 chip that solders into a factory ECU (mine is from 1992). Car makes about 800whp and I drive it almost every day to work and back. Still running a rockauto distributor too! No COP. Nothing wrong with a simple old school setup if it works well! Rock on brother.
Hell yeah thats whats up! Too many ppl hate on the old school set ups and hondata.. I've seen some bad @ss rides with similar set ups and they're some beasts.

My Toyota is Pretty damn fast too on the highway... I upgraded my exhaust..brand new battery and alternator. 0 gauge ground wire for my alternator. Royal purple synthetic oil. New timing chain belt. Bought everything off EBay. I mean 105 hp to the wheel ...my YARIS flys!

I got a 98 Supra AUTOMATIC as well and i can tell you that you are DAMN right by how many people give me the thumbs up when i am in the Supra ... As you said the attention is CRAZY ... Granted i still have my stock twins but i do have all the bolt-ons or BPU's for the younger generation (the millennials), including removing that drag of a mechanical fan for a set of IS300 electric fans. What a difference that made, it revs SO much faster now and that 2nd turbo kicks in faster now. Feels like Vtec only sooner ... lol
As you said the younger ones look down on automatic ... But hey, Supra has manual mode so thats a huge PLUS ... I would NOT trade in this Auto for NOTHING ...
Anyways, yea one day when the $$ comes i plan to do a stand alone also and tune it and get the most from the stock twins with all the bolt ons ...
SAY IT OUT LOUD TO THE UNIVERSE RIGHT AND BRING IT INTO EXISTENCE :-)
