      You'll get it amigo. But now that we're both here, you said you had just an 88mm, not an 88/108! What the hell bro?! 😂🤣 Overkill much? 😛 Definitely the 85/103 will be much better and with Jay and Geo proving it with 6.70s already, you know it's more than enough. 😎👍 Maybe even the 91mm front later on. 😈

    Cooking the oil is an ingenious idea. The benefits of it are ideal. Evaporation of extra fuel mixed in the oil 💡 and then it being warm before starting up for the next round 🔔 AWESOME!!! If y’all don’t know already MIR gets 🥶 and a lot of extra stress is put on these engines from the temperatures there.

    i have an e92 335i drag car thats a wet sleeved darton n54 block with 12:1 compression, wiseco pistons and boostline rods, ported n53 head, 288/284 +12mm cams, inconel /titanium vales, ferrea springs, running on maxxecu, port injection only with a 250 shot of direct port wet nitrous. its setup for 9000rpm but limited to the 8500rpm. the first engine i built with this setup, the oil wasnt getting warm enough to cycle after staging or if the car wasnt warmed up for 10-15 minute. Racing pushing 30psi of boost and spraying goofy gas above 6000rpm was too much for the oem oiling system. i learned about those oil pan heaters the hard way myself. took a while to figure out wich oil to run, how to setup the pistons for said oil, and fuel etc. I highly recommend the oil pan heaters and an accusump system, would have saved me 10 grand.

    I wish there were more people like Jay over here in the UK. I want to do a streetable and reliable 1000bhp build and yet I'm confused by the many different options and routes to choose. Also in my area mechanics aren't very knowledgeable and I'm super fussy about who I let touch my cars. If I had the money I'd opt to ship to or buy from RealStreet for sure!

    Yup, when tuning customers 60% of the guys lug their engines in daily driving below 1500rpm (obviously not happening here) and off the first datalog we see knocks all over the place. We try to educate our customers the Honda Jseries larger displacement engine (3.5 and especially 3.7) do not like lugging. We can pull enough timing to stop it but the car will be lethargic and many times it's on the customer to change their driving habits, which sometimes don't happen so we yank the timing. I'm just saying high loads at low RPM is not good, that's all I'm getting at

      The EGT sensor would go from normal to dead in a nanosecond. Nitrous is a band-aid solution because of improper turbo selection. Fix the root cause and you don’t end up with a torched head.

      @BalticSupraRacing Год назад +6

      @@TML34 the turbo size needed to run a 6 sec time will always have lag on our small engines. Nitrous will continue to be part of the equation just hopefully less of it with the changes I have made.

    nothing like turning a cylinder into an oxy torch and melt it down . that cyl got more air or not enough fuel . do number 2 cyl usually go in 2j engines when you put a huge turbine on it and run certain boost levels . engines all have their quirks when you up the volumes of air . fluid dynamics do weird things when flows get pushed . or did you just have an injector not upto the task with the boost and nitrous were on full noise .
