I was fortunate to have studied group piano under Ron Jeffers wife, Rebecca "Becky" Jeffers. I met Ron once in passing before he passed away back in 2017. He had a calm and quiet soul, which encouraged me, for I am the same way in some regards. This peace will always remind me why I love music and why I love creating it in an ensemble as opposed to in a solo capacity. The unifying sound of many voices sounding in one breath is the closest I've felt to God while here on Earth. God bless Ron Jeffers for this wonderful piece of music.
Enjoy each second of your time singing together, men. Your times will never be the same, nor do any other age groups have this youthful purity that tends to grab the soul. Enjoy it. Relish your sound... and make sure everyone knows what color khaki is.
