I prefer the actually head hunters more then the events in BL3.The events felt clunky and like you said, suffered from the useless grind you had to do before getting to the place. I will say though as much as I hate BL3, the cartel event was peak!
Well yeah lol. The headhunter were still bigger then the events. They even had side quests, I don't think it's really fair to compare them against each other since it was never gonna be 1 or the other
The mercenary one was actually quite easy to get into it just use the scraptrap xp farm the scraptraps can summon becons and the cartel members will actually fight the scraptraps revealing pressure on you and weaking the boss
HandsomeFrank63 here. Don't do chat stuff much, but I would like to say I look forward to what you're going to say about each member at the end. Funny as ....! Your videos are fun and informative. Keep up the good work mate.
yeah man for me Cartels for BL3 is like Tiny Tina's Dragon Keep DLC for BL2 so amazing, my favorite place in Borderlands... and NoPewPew is number one incendiary gun, it's even better than Monarch :)) So good I like also Bloody Harvest, it's good, but Cartels is so wonderful thank you for your video
I really enjoyed the events... well, at least the Cartel Event. The map was really fun to explore and the bossfight was also really cool. I'd definitly love if events return like they are in Borderlands 3 as long as they add a unique map with each (Broken Hearts is just sooooo ass) and that they are permanently unlocked right from the get go. I actually loved to just do my stuff in the normal levels and then, once I inevitably return to the Sanctuary, kill the event boss.
I would say that i still haven't gotten any further with the events in BL3 than doing the Bloody Harvest once and never bothering with it or any other event in it again. I prefer the headhunter dlcs in BL2, i never get bored of playing those. The trouble is by the time i get to the end of the story in BL3, i really don't feel inclined to grind my way through mayhem levels
how do i remember the events halloween, barely worked, had tons of bugs and glitches + game froze so much i could not rly play during this time OTHERWISE pretty good oh and the nade cant be annointed because??? balancing???? broken hearts lvl cap disaster, barely did anything 1 incredibly broken gun that was then nerfed cuz well, it was broken and gbx doesnt allow broken guns unless you pay for them cartels was pretty good i would honestly say if the cartel beacons where a mayhem mod to make it harder but also more rewarding then mayhem might actually have been CRAZY good y know actually increasing what happens on screen
The harder it is to obtain the piece of gear, the better it should be..... I liked the events for the most part, but the level cap was handled horribly
I agree! The only problem with that is that the events were limited time, so a lot of people ended up having a really bad experience with them if they couldn't get the drop. FOMO sucks fr
I don't think it's fair comparing the events 1 to 1 with head hunters tbh. I think they're going for 2 different things. Head hunters being smaller DLC pack compromises and the events being purposely shorter and repayable for certain pieces of gear. idk lmao, maybe I'm thinking about it to hard.
ehhhh. We only got Headhunter's to begin with because consoles at the time didn't have space for another campaign DLC. Headhunters were a cheap compromise. all in all, I think they're fine but outside of son of Crawmarax and Mercenary day, it's rare to see someone touch them.
If event's do return in Borderlands 4, What theme do you want it to be?
I think bringing back mercenary day would go hard af
A mercenary day return would be damn good
Good vid, good recap of bl3's events, brings back memories good and bad😎
MY GOD, HE'S DONE IT AGAIN! Thanks so much, Wesker! Absolute legend.

Bl3 is just so much fun.

@Cashew1405 I don't fall for fomo, but I can empathize that for sure
The events pale in comparison to the head hunters imo, but i will say this. If you dont f w maurice i dont f w you.

Honest opinion I bl4 we need headhunters back

Just like Presequal borderlands 3's gameplay is fun despite the story being crappy
I like TPS' story but hard agree on bl3

Man, can you please stop trying to get me to play bl3😔
Crypto?
That's what the barriers and spikes are called lmao. I had to keep checking the footage to make sure that I wasn't saying it wrong haha.
