It would be Legendary, while I did enjoy other rarities, my favourite ever sniper rifle in BL history, the 'Liquid Orion' is legendary, so I go with orange

Main man didn’t mention the “pseudo unique” only can drop as a glitch rarity: The jakobs Pepperbox, Jakobs pistol with a vladof barrel. In the files for BL2 and BLTPS in purple rarity, to be fair
something im surprised you didnt address is that most seraphs are also just reskinned uniques and legendaries with minor buffs in the same way some effervescent weapons are
0:17-0:24 dont like this statement because it sounds like theyre the originator of the rarity coloring system that every game bases off of but is not true. Blizzard started it with Diablo and World of Warcraft almost a full decade before the first Borderlands game.

Great video man, the toothpick is so OP. There is a glitch with it where if you play as Sal and Gunzerk you just get a bonus 200% damage buff on your other gun, I think you need the mouthwash equipped too though.
This is far from being OP tbf, you lose out on having a Lady Fist or Grog in your offhand

I managed with my krieg to somehow get negative health via a shield. I was unable to take damage. It was not fun to play with tbh
-I STILL have never obtained a pearlescent gun in Bl1. I have done over a hundred Crawmerax runs.
-I forgot how much melee equipment in bl2 was locked behind raid bosses. 😭
-I really wish seraph crystals dropped drom every raid boss. A lot of the guardians are annoying without glitches/exploits.
-It's funny how so many weapons would be better if they could crit or if UVHM didnt have x300% HP.
-I LOVE claptastic Voyage, but I like to act as if Eclipse and EOS don't exist. Also, Denial Subroutine has ZERO legendary drops without the UCP mod (and there's no recipe for guaranteed DLC legendary items with moonstones).
-Fight For Sanctuary... Ugh... Good farms, good story, good weapons (effervescents were mostly uninspired, but they were fine), and horrible enemy types, level 80, Haderax, OP10, etc. Also, if Bl2 can get late DLC, the Pre Sequel sure as hell can as well (recasting may be an issue, but the BL community hated the "everything Australian/British" thing anyway for whatever reason).
-The lack of pearls in Bl3 sounds like an average Pitchford excuse, but given the legendary drop rate for world drops in that game, he may be right.
I really hope that live service Borderlands game doesn't come into fruition. As a genre, it's been overused like a broodmare for the last few years.

I was so close to get all the effervecent weapons with my maya (only character) and during a loading screen the game crash and my save file got corrupted (ps5) didnt have a cloud file so fuck me, never got a pearl but really like the glitch ones from the pre, great videos man

Explain. A devastator unkempt Harold just sounds like a Harold with even slower bullet speed lol
@Cashew1405 The devestator has a fang effect where it shoots twice with each trigger pull, or at least I think so, alongside the slower projectile speed. The Unkempt Herold, I think, has projectiles which split as they travel. Come to think of it that would basically just be the Bekkah.
The rarity colouratiin system wasn't originally introduced to the World by BL1 more likely through Diablo but yeah ...

I'll stand by that it's a terrible gun but I have since tried to make an OP10 build around the seraphum as a challenge. And while that build wasn't amazing I did make something g fun out of it. Just goes to show the power of build theory crafting in bl2

Duuude, I live the carnage! Super fun on krieg. But while I think it's fun to use on certain characters, I can admit that it can be pretty bad if not with perfect parts, or a build, built around it.

before i watch, my thoughts on rarities
common to legendary should be all that can drop in normal mode
purples and legendaries should be the common stuff you build for most endgame content and should be relativly easy/simple to farm for
pearls and seraphs are VHs+ only
pearls are an extremely rare but powerful item class like in bl1 where the gear is rly fking strong but so rare that they arent realistically part of main builds, should drop all over the main game and dlcs from special sources such as badass enemies, invincibles, and other special sources with a miniscule dropchance
seraphs should come back and be invincible / vendor only, and they should be generally gimmick guns / versions of other guns/gear with a changes effect, like the interfacer vs conference call
rainbow should honestly be set items
getting these could be farming them, getting them as quest rewards for specific high tier quests
all of them should be by themselves mid tier legendaries, but together provide an insanely strong effect
this would allow for so many things you can go for in endgame
I do like giving the player more of a reason to do multiple playthroughs. Bl3 legitbhas 0 reason to do TVHM since mayhem mode scales everything and no-one wants to play bl3s story more times then they have to.
I don't think legendaries should be common at all. You should get them from their dedicated drops at about 10-15% chance and be very rare to world drop from a chest.
I'd like the use of a gunopedia that tells you drop rates, who drops it and stuff like that so that people don't have to rely on lootlemon or RUclips videos when bl4 drops

That doesn't mean they are 100% drops
I also said that it's just supposed to be easy to understand where and how to get them with loot sources
A pearl is supposed to be insanely rare
And a seraph weapon is harder to grind for
So in the end you should just be able to say
Okay I want shotgun build and I have like 10 legendary shotguns to pick from I know where to get it
Need the right class mod
I also know where to get that
Ah and the correct artifact as well cool I can grind it there
If you find a pearl you may build around it but it's not supposed to be the thing
Meanwhile a seraph gun should either enhance a build or be something that's gonna replace the legendary after alot of grinding
@@Cashew1405 as an example I'd say look at older bl games when somebody says I want to play AR Roland, you gonna build shit like the draco most of the time
You would grind armory or if you can craw for that
Or SMG Lilith
Now most guns you will use are purple or legendary

But you could find a tsunami for Lilith
Or you could find a serpents for Roland
They aren't rly a thing you can effectively grind for but finding them allows you to use those instead

Nah, fire Drill was found in the code and datamined.if you have it equipped while save quitting it will delete itself from your inventory. Definitely not finished.
