As somebody that's worked at wendys- I've always considered the chili to be a "f around and find out" I can't 100% tell you what's ours, I've made it a million times but outside of the prepackaging- our manager would have us re-dice salads that turned brown in the cooler and whatever sat on the fryers side line- cut up(patties/chicken) and put in so we didn't waste anything. It's a massive pot next to the register so the customers would think it's been there sizzling an hour max at a time, but we were adding things from the day before as early as 5 am- I've never seen it get dumped-only refilled
McDoland's fries taste great, but they get cold almost instantly. With that being said, if you're taking home McDoland's fries, they are D tier since they'll be cold.
That would defeat the sole purpose of McDonalds, which is to serve the exact same meal; no matter what decade you’re eating that meal in. Other countries excluded of course.
To be fair the quality of McDonalds is better in Europe since they need to conform to the local food standards. That being said, those percentages seem to be quite high. Its only good if you are high/ drunk and have the munchies at 4 am. Its very hard to get anything else to eat at this time in most places in Europe.
Keep hearing about the size of the drinks, in Spain all the chains I have been to, except of McDonals, have the soda fountains outside, so you can refill as much as you want whatever drink you want with no price increase. The menu can be 3€ and you still get unlimited drink.
The food dropping thing happens everywhere but it happens very rarely in most cases. It's on you if you really want to be ordering for delivery every day instead of cooking at home you're just increasing your chances of it landing on you.
Jack in the box munchie meal used to be $6. That was best value hands down. Specialty sandwich, tacos, half curly-regular fries, medium drink. 6 bucks 🤯
pure number break down: half of the 18 to 34 year olds in china is roughly 155 million people. thats how many cups of coffee in a single day. at mcdonalds pricing for coffee we'll average and say $1.50 if they can get a 1/4 of that population they can make around $58 million dollars a day. Likely they will probably grab about 1/10 or a little less but thats still a metric ass load of money a day and there be 365 days a year normally. Yeah I can understand mcdonalds growing to massive new levels in the next few years.
I want to imagine the company forcing the repair monopoly tried to do it in Japan but the Japanese Mcdonalds workers all just built an ice cream machine themselves.
I stopped eating there much since the quality went down. Certain stores are better than others, usually the corporate ones, but overall, the quality is worse because they dont throw the food out when they should and remake it because its alot of extra work. Used to work at both a corporate and franchise one and the experience was completely different. Franchises slack off. Corporate can maintain a 90 sec drivethru time at lunch.

McDonald's has a special arrangement with Coke, only they get their soda in stainless steel containers, that is why coke is better there than anywhere else that uses plastic.
Only high volume restaurants receive coke in 75 gallon tanks. Everything else comes in a BIB. Slow stores get coke in a BIB. There's other factors such as reverse osmosis systems, water and syrup chilled to a certain temperature before mixing

Regulating the quality more will make poor people unable to afford it so theres def a trade off here.
As somebody that's worked at wendys- I've always considered the chili to be a "f around and find out"
I can't 100% tell you what's ours, I've made it a million times but outside of the prepackaging- our manager would have us re-dice salads that turned brown in the cooler and whatever sat on the fryers side line- cut up(patties/chicken) and put in so we didn't waste anything. It's a massive pot next to the register so the customers would think it's been there sizzling an hour max at a time, but we were adding things from the day before as early as 5 am- I've never seen it get dumped-only refilled
by packaging I mean the only thing i've ever seen/added myself were dried beans. The rest of the ingredients were things that we couldn't sell
McDoland's fries taste great, but they get cold almost instantly. With that being said, if you're taking home McDoland's fries, they are D tier since they'll be cold.
Most of the Mc Donald's in NYC have these kiosks as well, even in the hood areas the McDonald's stores are pretty upgraded
McDonald’s definitely needs a new burger patties
Yeah imo their beef patties doesnt really taste good compared to their competition like Burger King, though their chicken burgers are still great
That would defeat the sole purpose of McDonalds, which is to serve the exact same meal; no matter what decade you’re eating that meal in. Other countries excluded of course.
burger king might be better but they are also more expensive, mcdonalds customer is all about price not about taste. It has to be cheap too
And Buns compare to BK is still bad even in Europe
@@sten260 In my country, BK is cheaper lol
To be fair the quality of McDonalds is better in Europe since they need to conform to the local food standards. That being said, those percentages seem to be quite high. Its only good if you are high/ drunk and have the munchies at 4 am. Its very hard to get anything else to eat at this time in most places in Europe.
@@HQbaracuda i guess depends on the place
9:50 real-estate has been super inflated here, to the point that an 120m2 apartment costs close to a 1m usd in the capital.
Hey Asmon we even have mac d in Denmark, Norway and Sweden as well
Keep hearing about the size of the drinks, in Spain all the chains I have been to, except of McDonals, have the soda fountains outside, so you can refill as much as you want whatever drink you want with no price increase. The menu can be 3€ and you still get unlimited drink.
It was funny to see, how Asmon has seemingly no idea about McDonald's big market share in Europe. I see the golden arches everywhere in Germany.
The food dropping thing happens everywhere but it happens very rarely in most cases. It's on you if you really want to be ordering for delivery every day instead of cooking at home you're just increasing your chances of it landing on you.
The rodeo burger from burger King was the best fastfood value item ever.
Jack in the box munchie meal used to be $6. That was best value hands down. Specialty sandwich, tacos, half curly-regular fries, medium drink. 6 bucks 🤯
Top tier take I was so happy when they made that shit permanent
You see him, and it’s like… “there it is. *Thats chicken* “
6:25 pizza hut in China is quite different from what you know. It is more of a restaurant... Long queues on most days.
pure number break down: half of the 18 to 34 year olds in china is roughly 155 million people. thats how many cups of coffee in a single day. at mcdonalds pricing for coffee we'll average and say $1.50 if they can get a 1/4 of that population they can make around $58 million dollars a day. Likely they will probably grab about 1/10 or a little less but thats still a metric ass load of money a day and there be 365 days a year normally. Yeah I can understand mcdonalds growing to massive new levels in the next few years.
Can confirm at least the ice cream machine not broken over here in Japan. Japanese people are very serious about giving quality and doing their jobs.
They probably would issue a public apology if one of their ice cream machines broke in the service time.
I want to imagine the company forcing the repair monopoly tried to do it in Japan but the Japanese Mcdonalds workers all just built an ice cream machine themselves.
@@kenhiyoko941 True!
@@seekittycat there is no repair monopoly. Anyone that works for mcdonalds can get a certificate to work on the machines.
The touch screen order screen seem fairly common in south Africa, we've had them for at least 5 years now from when I was in university
3:12 I HAD THAT BUCKET! I was so confused when I was given a BUCKET of soda.
The McDonalds that I go to as well even with 2 lanes still takes them forever, also the 2nd lane is closed at night.
I don't know about the ice cream machines in China but whenever I order at McDonald's here in Germany using the phone app, it tells me the McFlurry's currently unavailable so I guess they're always broken here at least x'D
That's not indicative of the machine, they could be out of another part of that item such as the topping, spoon or cup.
@@bedinor that is true but what's more likely? That they don't have some ingredients in stock, ever, for months upon months, and don't ever restock that. Or that something is defective and can't be repaired that easily because of some weird company policy.
I'm in an average part of south Carolina. Our McDonald's has 4 or 5 kiosks for people to order at
We have the Kiosk things here aswell, i never use them tho, i order through the App on my Phone on my way to McDonalds, that way the food is usually ready by the time i walk in.
13:55 New Zealand has the Kiwi Burger. It includes a whole fried egg and three slices of beetroot.
McDonalds in my area are understaffed/incompetent. Service takes far too long and orders are commonly wrong.
The 16:30 talk about ordering from the touchscreen tablet thing was funny because we even have those here in SEA, how the hell does Austin not have those? Or does Asmon live in the outskirts of Austin or something.
for years I ate McDonalds until I realized how many preservatives they put in their food, the breakfast burrito has 125 ingredients including one that's made to make fireworks, haven't eaten McDonalds, burger king, Wendie's, taco bell or kfc in about 5 years, only thing I sort of miss is the big mac
In the end everything is chemistry. But if some of those are problematic and not regulated then yeah. Having it here and there won't harm you. But I understand your concern.
I mean ... Burgers And bombs ... lmfao
@@christophluger793 wrong, it is what has been giving everybody cancer and all sorts of horrible illnesses and disorders. The symbolism is everywhere, its being done on purpose.
Here in NZ the beef is 100% pure beef, so no additives, but it tastes like cardboard. The taste is probably 60% sauce and 20% cheese.
There is a place near me that has a McDonald's inside a walmart, another McDonald's in the same shopping center as the walmart and another McDonald's across the street from that shopping center.
Trump is a new yorker... he knows the mcdonald's menu for sure lol
McDonald in China has way way way more choices and tastes way way way way better.
Fun fact: McDonald's sales are used to have a feel about a country's economy if they're doing well or not.
I don't go there much these days but my go to was always the chicken selects drowned in their chipotle bbq sauce. Wish they would bring them back.
In Antwerp - Belgium we have a McDonald's with 2 ddrive-through lines.
Yh had those screens in the UK for a decade in London. You can make a crazy custom big mac
Malaysia Mcdonalds had nasi lemak. We also have seasonal menus (for Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Deepavali).
There's a reason so many offices provide infinite bad coffee, it actually helps. But speaking of KFC and it's value, well they used to have some pretty good deals, but we all knew it was crap. Now it has some pretty bad deals, but we all still know it's crap.
ah... not in Florida or Georgia. The food is served in 10min minimum. I once had to wait 25 min for the food and there was nobody in line but me.
What, they don't have the electronic kiosks in all the branches in the US?
Asmon taking a trip to China will produce so much free content, just imagine
So weird.
Kingston Ontario Canada
We have 3 McCafè and no McDonald's.
All are fully automated
One has a walkthrough window instead of drive through.... You stand outside instead of actually dealing with Mcdicks
I lived in China for 8 years, McDonalds in China is not cheap and KFC sells better Chicken burger compared to McDonalds.. KFC is also not focusing on their friend chicken, Mashed Potatoes or Coleslaw. KFC instead paired their combo meals with portugese Tart.
a Price for a Big Mac Combo meal, fries & Coke will net you about 6 Dollars ( which is considered expensive if you compare it to other Asian countries )
They have those screen based menus all over Canada as well
I hear the Dark Knight is doing a mcdonalds/china collab. Bat Burgers.
Those kiosk McDonald’s are all over the east coast because min wage is 15 dollars and it’s cheaper to run an iPad
Kiosks have been required for a while. In fact, when kiosks are used in tandem with a cashier they require more staff as more food needs to be prepared and delivered.
Fastfood are doing greater in Asia than in US for some reason
More wild menu, and apparently better food
It's wild
Here in the philippines the serve spaghetti and fried chicken and rice at. The burgers are rarely ordered.
I live in the uk and so I thought every McDonald’s has the screens you can order on.
Living in the West of Scotland, this country must be junk food heaven for suppliers like MCD's and the like- there is a huge appetite for crap food in Scotland and every single fast food joint is queued out every time i drive past.. for such a small country there's a huge waistline just waiting to develop.
Gee McDonald's guy perhaps people's expectations and scrutiny of how big companies act is heightened because companies actually seem to have forgotten how to act. Shoddy product quality, Markups of unbelievable percentages and just shady practices overall will get you there.
ice-cream machine in HK is usually fine, but the mcflurry machine have a chance to be failing, just not always
They really do adapt to the country/location. McDonalds in Hawaii had this interest coconut desert things while I've only ever seen applepie ones on the mainland. Also, I had McDonalds in Florence, Italy and they had pizza pockets. I ended up getting a big mac and a BEER! Their McFlurry was also different. Not the powered milk ice cream, but tasted more like real ice cream. I think whenever I am in a country if they have a McDonalds, I'm trying it at least once to see the different menus! Also, while traveling KFC was everywhere. I'm surprised because I think they kind of suck.
Yeah, we eat McDonald's in Europe too, but out portions are like less than a 3rd of the size when it comes to drinks and sugary foods lmao.
WOW McDonald’s has more employees than the top countries have in soldiers..
Nuggets A tier, breakfast menu S tier. McRib no onions, with cheese S tier.
revenue in Germany and France is high cause of scam prices
Duh-nah-da-da-a..Flippy's loving it.
Asmon describing the futuristic mcdo he went like, it's every normal mcdo in Québec city lol
9 cups a years, bruh as a Portuguese I do that in one day
1-afer waking up
2-before work
3-rest time (10:00)
4-After Lunch
5- rest time (15:00)
6- after work
7 after dinner
Okay I lied only 7 a day
McDonalds was my first job, started at 17. I was working 40 hrs a week, I hit 18 and when my wage increased, my hours got dropped to 17-24hrs. But after working at Bk I still go back to McDonalds after all these years. Roaches, bugs and employees make all the difference.
Lock-Down policy actually speedup delivery and online system, this also happen in Thailand where concept of QR payment is alien pre-covid but now it everywhere and the shop without one is bound to loss.
They need to adapt in other to survive after all.
I agree most mcdonalds burgers suck but when i drive an hour out to a smaller town where theres like one mcdonalds idk what they do there but their burgers are twice the size and taste better along with their fountain drinks. Maybe its because its one of those Circle k/Mcdonalds 2 in 1's lol
"dont you guys have phones?" omg, lol i lost it
Ooooo Carlyle Group owns Jagex (Runescape creators)
I always eat chicken when I order food outside, I rarely eat red meat unless it is a steak house.
I vote we ship all of these fast food places to the Commies. We might have a chance if they fatten up too.
The guy with glasses english is so good he sounds voiced over lmao.
True
if you order the quarter pounder and make it double patty and eat it while its hot and steaming its gonna taste different also add mayo to it
How good your food is %100 on crew. It's beef not some mystery meat but like cooking anything you need a guy who's aware of the seasonings and equipment to get the best possible product and if the guy is lacking so will be the food. It's easy to tell what's going on because feed back is feely given. Also this extends beyond one guy because you want your equipment running flawlessly and to be clean as f and you need other people making shit right or there's no point anyway because no one wants it anyway otherwise.
