Mido with custom rom still rock to this day. I'm using pixel experience android 11 in this device right now and even after 4 years i get about 5 hr sot with the stock battery. Mido is a very special phone for the custom rom community. There is a lot of options in rom for this phone right now. If i change the battery then i think it will get about 8 hr sot and this phone will work for a couple of years again. It's built so good for that cheap price.

This includes fonts how the icons look what the setting page will look like ringtones, colour even how it looks when it boots up. This also includes having a twin screen so you can keep apps in a different place it does not lack customisation

It's hard to decide if it's worth the extra for the OLED model. To be honest, the main draw is just the type c connector. I feel like new devices i'm buying now should all be type c, but I can't really see that it's worth the extra cost.
Your production quality is top-notch. Respect. The filter on the videos is very nice looking, I like it. And you always choose nice places in nature to film which makes the videos very pleasant to look at.
Nice review! I have a question: Does it support adoptable storage since it's running on Marshmallow? I'm asking because some manufacturers (for instance, ZTE) remove that capability from their phones. Even when try to use the "sm" command hack to make it support adoptable storage, it doesn't work.
This is just the regular note 4 not the pro version, just because it has 3GB/64GB doesn't mean it's the pro version, like in the previous version pro means using snapdragon processor but this phone using MTK, so it's not xiaomi redmi note 4 pro, just saying

I have one of those from like 5 to 6 years ago, it's still working very good, no lags good storage optimisation and all. It supports upto 2k videos without any lag but 4k may cause lags some times
I'm still using this phone. The camera was fixed in an update years ago. It's basically still completely usable but the old version of Android means some apps are no longer available. If they hadn't locked down the bootloader more people wouldn't bother upgrading their phone. The camera for 13mp is still very highly impressive.

hmm... I don't think so, I have been using it from last 1 and ½ year and what I learned over the year is that they have a fucked up color schema throughout their UI, over- saturated colors. my expectations were high with MIUI 8 but that too wind up like it's predecessors. I definitely agree with the fact that it has some nice features. but I don't find MIUI for masses. in my view it is not a balanced ui.
Don't know the reason for your butthurtness, but MIUI is for masses. It has a large user base. And over-saturated colors? TF? It is an overlay UI based on Android, and imo better than rest of the overlay UIs from other OEMs including TouchWiz and others. It just is the best Android ROM and it far surpasses stock Android. MIUI 8 wasn't a big improvement over MIUI 7, I understand. But it still rocks, and MIUI 9 this December's gonna rock harder.
