I have seen this unit in use and it is extremely impressive, It is a one stop shop for rehabilitating and adjusting manholes. This unit precisely lines up and cores out the manhole, and with its hydraulic crane it lifts the manhole ring into the hydraulic dump box. Sides on the machine come down when coring which contains all debris/ waste from spreading around the road, as well there is a containing unit that is inserted into the manhole that stops any material from entering the sewer while cleaning up loose concrete or asphalt. Attached to the back of the unit in a storage box is a air powered jack hammer that also available to clean up around the concrete and asphalt where a shovel or pick wont do the job. On board the unit stores the new manhole grates and lids which is easily handled by the hydraulic crane. This is really something to see in person where it only requires two people to operate and can do up to 15 manholes in a day with out the need for skid steers, dump trucks or excess labor.
